Guest Reviews
- Javier (10/5): - very good place and very good personal
- Koller (7/5): Erholsam.

- Raymond (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susanne (8/5): Nice place very close to Lake Jipe. - Friendly staff.
Even sent us stuff home we had forgotten. No real coffee available.
No umbrellas were provided, even though it was pouring.
- Djamila (2/5): Don’t go there if u want to save time & money and be well treated - Nothing, this was the worse place I have ever been The poor service, the condition were bad and we paid very expensive for what we got. The road to reach the hotel is totally broken and it took us 2.5h to reach normal road when going back to Nairobi/mombassa. If u want to avoid this disaster, u need to arrive thru Tsavo park and of course pay 52usd per person. There is WiFi in rooms. There is no air-conditionner, only fans. At 1AM, they cut the electricity and the room became too hot. We were not able to sleep the whole night. I complained about it in the morning at 7:30 when we went to restaurant. The guy said that the technician was not there. He went to see the manager and 2-3min, electricity came back. They did that to save money
- Kular (5/5): Passable -
- Tatrin (8/5): Very good - The location is very remote (no other lodge or restaurant close by), but excellente for the game drives as just a few minutes from the gate to Tsavo West NP..
The garden and pool is nicely organised. The communication with the lodge (lavender hotel) was easy and helpful. The room does not have air conditioning, but a fan. The road (if you do not pass through the national park) is in a bad condition. It is recommended to come with a 4x4 car or communicate with the lodge in advance as there is no possiblity to hire/rent a car for a game drive in the area.
- Anne (9/5): Magnificent once in a lifetime experience. - Stunning location, friendly staff. Particularly wonderful if you’re a bird enthusiast, as many species rock to the Eco Lodge.
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Ashok (7/5): Good -
- Cynthia (9/5): Lake Jipe and Tsavo Adventure! - The staff was very accommodating with a smile, and the chef was very good too 👍🏾.
Peaceful location, amazingly quiet except for the bird choir, which was soothing. Can't think of a thing because it was an outdoor adventure.
- Gabriella (10/5): Immersed in nature - Lake Jipe is in such a beautiful location. The lake and Tsavo are just by the lodge. You're fully immersed in nature. The room is simple and comfortable. The swimming pool is a great place to cool down between safari drives.
- Villebro (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (8/5): Comfortable stayover in the bush - Very friendly welcome; professionally managed. From welcome drink to wet towel very comforting.
Just a jump into Tsavo West via Jipe gate.
What a pleasure: you check in and go on a game drive. Then relax at the pool and enjoy your dinner. A very recommendable stay. I regretted not to have stayed longer.
Very pleasant stay. All good.
- Bneworleans (7/5): Good - Lovely facility with landscaped gardens on the edge of Tsavo West on Lake Jipe. Wonderful people who will do their best to make your stay its best.
Property includes a viewing tower looking into the park. The lake is less than a kilometer walk away.. The off-site management is out of touch with the local scene. Quotes exorbitant fees for things like transfers and game drives. They quoted 50k kes to Amboseli, I got 25k. Also the game drive they arranged was substandard.
- Anthony (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (7/5): Good - The staff were excellent and place serene The road from Cess was a nightmare. The management should state categorically that's its impassable and also say that the good park road closes by 6pm.
- Jitka (9/5): Superb -
- Marco (9/5): Superb -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Serene, homely environment. Friendly, nice staff. Delicious food
- Benjamin (10/5): Paradise right next to the entrance of Tsavo West National Park - The staff is so friendly and some of them joined us at the bonfire in the evenings, getting to know each other. The cool makes the most delicious meals and the rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the shower nice and hot.
We highly recommend this place.
- Nessy (8/5): Amazing location, the Camp Manager and the staff were so kind and gave us excellent service. -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Location is good - Quite environment
- Tony (8/5): A good stay in a great location for wildlife. - The accommodation is located right outside the entry to Tsavo West NP and right next to the shore of Lake Jipe and Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from the grounds. The rooms were simple but the bed was large and comfortable. The shower had plenty hot water and the shower room is sizeable. Nothing comes to mind
