• Marina Studach (7/5): - Wunderbares Frühstück wurde uns ins Zimmer gebracht. Das Zimmer hat nur ein sehr kleines Fenster. Alles ist schön eingerichtet, mit tollem Licht. Trotzdem bleibt der Kellergrouf.
• Michael (8/5): A great experience of life in the port town of Taranto - The room was very comfortable and the design was quite original. The ceiling was unique and the bathroom had original features. Our room was on the ground floor which suited us perfectly as some of the other rooms were on floors with steep stairways. The breakfast on the roof terrace was a very nice experience in itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The venue is in the heart of what Taranto has to offer so 10/10 for location. Michelus, our contact and the guy who served breakfast, was very helpful and friendly. Getting there by car was very tricky and Sat nav directions were somewhat confusing. The stairs to the rooms in the property & the roof terrace were steep and not for the faint hearted / reduced mobility. The property is in the middle of a residential area so normal Italian life goes on outside your window which sometimes can be loud but that’s life !!

• PATRICK (10/5): - Nous avons aimé la serviabilité de notre hôte à notre arrivée , le petit déjeuner du lendemain sur le toit a été parfait et varié le jeune homme dont nous avons oublié de lui demander son prénom était adorable ! Merci aussi à Julia qui nous a bien reçu dans son restaurant . L'emplacement était très bien pour nos déplacements dans la vielle ville. Nous avons apprécié le parking privé tout proche de l'appartement . En parlant d'appartement , nous nous y sommes bien sentis , très belle déco et d'une très grande propeté. Bonne adresse !

• silvia (10/5): una experiencia encantadora y algo mágica - La ubicación excelente para estar en la Ciudad Vieja y poder pasear por la zona del puente y el canal . La habitación preciosa llena de detalles de buen gusto decorada con mucha dedicación . Espacios amplios ventilados , el baño y la cabina cómodos así como la flor de la ducha excelentes . Estábamos en la PB con salida directa a la calle lo que nos daba mucha independencia y comodidad . Detalles de gentileza que no comento para que se sorprendan como nosotros . Cama excelente , almohadas extras en el placard y acolchado extra que no necesitamos ya que hay una temperatura estable muy agradable en la habitación .Espacio de guardado , para valijas y frigobar con botellas de agua . La amabilidad de Giulia y su pareja es otro tema. Nos pasaron a buscar por el bus ya que llovía. Dos personas jóvenes muy agradables y serviciales. Recomiendo cenar en la Trattoria y Pizzería que tienen en el boulevard del canal . Riquísimo todo! nos quedamos con ganas de mas porque ..los lunes cierran ! ojo a las fechas . El desayuno riquísimo personalizado y atendido con maravillosa predisposición por Michele. todo nos hizo desear volver a pesar de que a Taranto aun le faltan servicios para turistas (información no existe) Pudimos dejar las valijas hasta la hora de salida del tren nada todo fue fantástico. Pero aclaro que el desayuno es en la terraza , encantadora , pero con cierta dificultad en la escalera que no lo hace apto para todos. Aunque conociendo a Giulia seguro lo resolverá si se da el caso .
• Kathleen (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay at La Dimora Degli Dei - The breakfast was excellent! Among other things, Michele served us freshly-made foccacia with assorted meats and cheeses and his espresso was absolutely the best! So good! The view from the roof patio was beautiful (if you have difficulty climbing stairs it might be an issue, but we're not young and we were fine-lol). This is an historic site and the architectural elements are fascinating. Also have to mention that the bed was incredible! SO comfortable! The best night's sleep of our trip! And finally, a huge thank you to Francesca, Michele, and Giulia! What a beautiful spot you have in Taranto and we so appreciate your many kindnesses to us. P.S. Be sure and ask how to find Toto at the nearby Trattoria. It's excellent and Toto is wonderful! So enjoyed being in Taranto. We'd love to return!

• Michel (10/5): Exceptionnel - Appartement exceptionnel: confort, espace, melange de moderne et d ancien très réussi, contact avec Julia et personnel très sympa. Ils nous ont aidé pour que nous puissions atteindre le parking à côté de la chambre. Restaurant de l autre côté du canal excellent avec belle vue sur la petite mer.

• Federica (10/5): Taranto e il suo fascino decadente.. - Ottima posizione al limitare della città vecchia, molto vicino alla fine del cammino della Rotta dei 2 Mari che abbiamo percorso e comodissimo a tutti i servizi. Ottima colazione in terrazzo, alloggio molto curato e ben accessoriato.
• Ingrid (10/5): Heerlijk rustige plek bij oude stad. - Heerlijke rustige ruime kamer op begane grond. Je loopt zo het oude centrum in. Restaurant miseria e nobilita van eigenaars is ook top. Groot terras aan het water. Makkelijk dichtbij parkeren. Trap naar ontbijtterras is steil en smal. Was geen probleem voor ons, maar mogelijk voor anderen wel.

Le B&B possède une place de parking juste en face de l’entrée. La chambre se trouve au rez-de-chaussée, est très propre, joliment décorée et très confortable. Les hôtes Giulia et Michele sont très sympathiques et très serviables. Le petit déjeuner est servi en roof top, avec un grand choix en boisson, charcuteries, fromages et tartines. Les propriétaires possèdent également le restaurant Miseria e Nobilta non loin de leur B&B. Nous avons pu y déguster les spécialités de la région et nous nous sommes vraiment régalés pour un prix très raisonnable. Rien
• Agnieszka (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very nice and clean apartment in the ancient part of the city. Close to main attractions, train station. The bus stop of public transport is 3 minutes walking distance far from the apartment. The personel was very polite and responsive. Cleaning service was delivered after the first night even though we didn't expect. Breakfast is served in the terrace on the rooftop. We definitely would stay there again if we come back to Taranto. The general impression is very good. I would just provide some ☕️ cups, glasses, and cutlery to the room.
• Philo (8/5): Rooms were really lovely. But forget Taranto. - Location was at one end of the island off main part of Taranto. Basically, at one end of the old city with quite a few restaurants nearby. The rooms were lovely - old trulli like roof. (One on ground level; the other up some quite steep stairs). They have one parking spot reserved for guests right out front (but it is a tight fit - especially if you don't have a smallish car). Breakfast on the roof was OK - but not up to some of the rave reviews we had read. Much of the old city was really dilapidated and dirty and not worth a visit. I would skip Taranto.

We had amazing pizza at Giulia's trattoria Miseria e Nobilta about 300 meters away, close to great shops and the pedestrian area, after an afternoon at the beach just outside of town. Paradise is often just below our feet! Salve, Tarente! .
• NICHOLAS (10/5): Best place I have stayed in Taranto - Fantastic place which has been my 'second home' whilst working in Taranto 2 weeks per month Jan-March. Giulia and her team are attentive to anything you need. The breakfast is so tasty and enough to feed me for the whole day! Highly recommend!
• Cheryl (10/5): Our stay was great, with a perfect location, spacious comfort, and thoughtful amenities. - The property was ideally located for exploring the Old Town of Taranto. It was spacious and well-equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, making the stay even more enjoyable. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting that there are many stairs to climb—something that might be helpful to mention on Booking.com. The building features very high ceilings, which made the air conditioner for heating somewhat insufficient. While the bathroom was wonderfully warm, the living area and bedroom were a bit on the chilly side.
• Arno (9/5): I would love to come back - to Taranto and to this accommodation. - A very tastefully furnished accommodation (palazzo), very nice rooms! Centrally located and quiet. Very good breakfast, you can communicate your wishes (sweet, savory, bacon & eggs, ...) The online registration was very time-consuming (too much data!), but still no self check-in.
• Žilvinas (10/5): Impressive apartment in old town with full savoury breakfast - Place in authentic building with some old details as frescoes kept. Silent, sparkling clean and super comfortable as an Appartments are in heart of old town. All best things from different B&B’s implemented as an owner travel a lot. We have full sweet and savoury breakfast on the rooftop, with bacon and eggs a local sweets, fresh coffee served by super pleasant personel. It was nice hearing about life in Taranto from local! Must try dinner in Giulia’s trattoria, real Italy experience with 90db Italians around :) The were no Soap holder in shower :)

• Lanka (10/5): - My friend and I stayed at this establishment. The owners were really helpful, answering all the questions we had. The room was perfect, with all commodities one could have desired. The breakfast was included and was beyound what we expected: cheese with curred meat, eggs, focaccia, fresh juice, espresso, etc. I really recommend staying there if you plan to stay at Taranto!
