We stayed in the top left room and loved the views out to the ocean and gardens. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable & aircon is ice cold. The manager is so kind too. There are so many great cafes close by - it’s the perfect location! We didn’t want to leave. 5 nights wasn’t long enough!

- Charles (8/5): Great surf, great accommodation, shitty departure experience. - Great location, clean, perfect spot for a surf trip! We had a bit of a nightmare trying to leave due to a miscommunication on Peak’s behalf. We had originally requested a taxi to take us back to Bima airport - it was an early start at 3:30am. The day before, we informed the manager that we no longer needed a taxi as we’d made a plan with another surfer to share a taxi with them. However, a taxi arrived for us anyway and then parked us in refusing to move! I had received no confirmation that a taxi was coming for us or even a time / name of the driver. They blocked us from leaving and if we refused to pay we would have missed our flight. We’d heard about this ‘taxi mafia’ but this was entirely the Peak’s fault and resulted not only in us having to pay double (2 x taxis instead of 1) but it also created a very tense and stressful departure. Of course no one was around at this time to help us - if Peak is going to offer to help organise these things then they really need to be better with communication and actually confirm the details because this was entirely preventable.

There is no reception, in case you need anything. It is not a big issue, though!

- Bianca (7/5): Good, clean and well situated place, but not a lot of privacy - Perfect access to Lakey peak and pipe surfspot. Roms are clean and modern. Basically anyone can access the garden, which will include many people offering you Scooter rental or massages. They are quite persistent and sometimes just walk onto your terrace. This can be very annoying and impacts relaxation negatively.

The view is amazing, especially if you are on the ocean side : you can see Lakey from your bed and choose the perfect timing to go surfing 🤙 The room has all the amenities you need : good WiFi, small refrigerator to keep your beers fresh for the after session, … This place also offers cleaning regularly and laundry services. Finally, the Peak crew/owners are very friendly & responsive. Best place to make the most of your trip at Lakey !! Nothing, everything was perfect !
- Katharina (8/5): Amazing view to wake up to - This place has the best view :). The rooms are big enough for hosting two full surfbags ;). They even offer a water tank and a small French press in the room. Check in and checkout were smooth. They also have proper internet availability. - the bathroom need a small invest… the toilet lid was not fitting the toilet … which was a bit well … not so nice. - they offer 4 days cleaning in general - you need to ask them if you want it more frequently- as there is a lot of rubbish in the bathroom I would definitely suggest to do a daily bathroom cleaning.

The location ist perfect, right in front of the surfspot. The surf manager can tell you about the spots and go surf with you if you need guidance. All in all a really nice surf house! There were no chairs on the balcony to use it, but still handy to hang wet clothes

Water bottle kept leaking onto the floor, however is a good idea. There was no soap liquid in the bathroom, i brought some myself as the staff were not always around and I was not told how or where to find the staff. There was no room key provided, I had to ask for it after I realised the rooms should be locked. The room was not cleaned my whole stay.

- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - The upper level beach front room (which my husband and I shared) had an amazing view of Lakey Peak and Pipe, which was great as I could watch and film the boys off the deck while they were surfing. My two sons stayed in the mountain view room, which was perfect for them. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. There is a dairy next door and lots of restaurants only a short walk away. Scooter hire is available near the entrance of the property. Thank you to Dedi and Chantal for your help with everything and also all the peak crew who were always helpful. We loved our stay!

No privacy as other people or the public could enter and leave the property freely. Animal control was poor - dogs and chickens running around the property. There was plenty of loud construction happening next door.
