Guest Reviews
- Bikash (1/5): Very bad - I didn’t like anything
Family sharing home
Dirty kitchen
Bad smell
You own’t able to use kitchen
Very bad experience in my life
I’m regretted when I reach at house
They hide so many things
Night family noise and trouble for me Nothing
- Jeffrey (10/5): A great place to stay a short distance from the airport. - Clean, safe and quiet. A small oasis in a big city.
- Thomas (8/5): - Happy the bathroom was private. Not reporting this as a dislike. Simply sharing we were looking for a toaster in order to toast our bread for breakfast.
- Tyler (9/5): -
- Merline (10/5): I love everything then nice to me and I’m very comfortable - Just the Noise I have trouble to sleep because the noise is bothering me
- Tyler (10/5): -
- Sha Alam (4/5): Non è molto bene - Copriletto sporco Era sotto dipartimento, come buio, brutto
- Bei (8/5): 总体感觉还不错 - 主人热情 房屋太低了,碰头
- Steeve Arold (5/5): I was bored - Only the geographical location. The room because it was basement
- Eliška (8/5): New York City stay - I liked the people in the house, they were always nice and kind.
The surrounding of the house was very good, no loud noises, good for walking around. I didn't like how small the room was, but that's what I knew from the pictures.
I also thought that the location is a little closer to Manhattan or JFK airport. For the value of the money, it's definitely better to live closer. It's way cheaper in Jersey, than here and it's closer. But I wanted to be close to JFK and that with the public transportation took a long time too.
The room wasn't exactly clean, since the carpet on the floor had some hair in the corners and so on. Though the bathroom was nice and clean.
And the room is located next to the living area and the kitchen, I was thinking that there are no door between me in the room and people outside. I could hear everything through the door.
- Dianne (8/5): Home away from home - Very clean and nice facilities Is a basement don’t like bottom apartment
- Viren (1/5): - I booked this place for my wife because she was arriving late from an international flight and had to wait a day at the airport. She arrived at the facility at 1 am and the staff were not friendly. The attendant scolded her for making her wait. But my wife had no control over this. It is in a residential area and taxis might have difficulty finding the place. After spending 16 hours in an airplane one does not want to be scolded. She ended up leaving the facility and going to Newark airport, where she spent the night.
- Magaly (8/5): - The place is comfortable for one night
- clair (6/5): It was a pleasant stay. I appreciate the fact that it was in close proximity to an eatery - It was quite clean and comfortable all around. Felt very cozy and inviting as a home away from home as the name suggested. There was no access to a light to illuminate the the steps that had to be taken to reach the enterance door to the apartment in a basement. Felt quite unsafe to me.
- dorcas (9/5): -
- Abiola (10/5): Excellent stay - Everything was excellent, felt like home. I liked everything
- Qing (5/5): -
- sri priya (8/5): - Everything was awesome! It would be better if you guys could’ve provided customers with some groceries or food to eat.

- Marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Camryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jocelyn (6/5): It would be nice if the bed were comfy, though the pillow isn't nice either. -
- Kobusinge (9/5): Superb -
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- 0lga (1/5): Bad - My plane arrived a little bit late, and I arrived at 11:12 PM
Nobody was present at the house and the door was locked. I had to spend the night at the airport.
- Harold (7/5): Basement room in a persons house. - Price Not for anyone over 5’8”.
- Martin (1/5): I served as a place to stay but was certainly not "a home away from my home". - This is a converted basement with no head room, I kept banging my head. The bed was very soft and if I turned over ended up on the floor.
- Barracks (1/5): Bad - Nothing Do not go here rat chewed my sneakers up and there’s much more I have bed bug bites on my skin
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wausi (7/5): okay - Relative proximity to airport - JFK
- Rodrigues (8/5): Very good - Sympathy of staff, Bed, Situation (roundabouts of airport), also towels maybe add some paper towers in kitchen
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very nice, communication was very good with them. -
- Apoorv (4/5): The property nowhere mentioned that it's in the basement. I am a 6ft tall guy and I had a horrible t - Cleaniness The property nowhere mentioned that it's in the basement. I am a 6ft tall guy and I had a horrible time standing there.
- Nicholas (10/5): 100% recommended! - The staff were wonderful. They were very kind and welcoming when we arrived. They were very helpful and extremely respectful of our privacy. During our stay its like they weren't even there. The place was emaculate and cozy. They also provide everything you could need during your stay in both the bedroom and private bathroom. 100% recommended to anyone who wants to visit a home away from home!
- Hendeika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (6/5): adequate crash pad while in transit, convenient for JFK. - Cleanliness. Bed quite comfortable. Key not in box as promised. Not private enough - had to run the gauntlet of the living room with people there in order to access the private bathroom.
- Qadeer (8/5): Very good -
- Le (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nelly (6/5): Comfortable and quiet. - Clean sheets.
- Fabio (6/5): Pleasant -
- Abdulaziz (8/5): Very good -
- Terri (10/5): Host very friendly and met at location. My flights fro.JFK was canceled and was aplble to get me in. - Host met at the location!
- Yecenia (8/5): Very good - Host was accommodating, pleasant, and flexible. The price was a bit steep for the commuting distance to the city via public transportation. But, NY has always been very expensive. Parking didn't seem like an issue in the area for those not traveling the MTA.
Also, I couldn't find the kitchen light switch.
- Daniel (10/5): Lola, the host was warm and welcoming. facilities were just as depicted. Loved the neighbourhood. -
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gia (10/5): Exceptional - This place has everything you need all personal items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, pads, tampons, mouthwash, soap, etc. The host is very nice and made me feel comfortable I’d definitely stay again
- 조 (10/5): Exceptional - Confortable and cozy accomodation with isolated space.
And accessible lacation from JFK airport. It would be better if the room was cleaner a bit.
- Wimbush (8/5): Very good - Staff was nice & it was in a great location for Airport traveling. No towels were provided you have to ask for everything.
- David (6/5): Nice family but noisy and hard to relax. - The hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Lack of privacy. We were tired and mostly just wanted to sleep over after a long haul flight from the uk. The advertised living room turned out to be in full use by the resident family (who were lovely- don’t get me wrong) so we felt uncomfortable to use it. Leaving us just the bedroom and the shower/bathroom. When we retired for bed we struggled to sleep as the teenage kids of the family banged and squabbled in the kitchen (right next to our bedroom - so fully audible) well into the night. Not what we needed after a long flight and time zone change. The area around didn’t have a bar or grill we could walk to (we didn’t fancy dunkin donuts or chicken fast food) so we had to order uber eats pizza. We found the locality quite intimidating in all honesty but it may be a fear of the unfamiliar.
- Leatherman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ieuan (8/5): Very good -
- Afsar (10/5): Exceptional - well know No comments
- Alberto (1/5): Bad -

- Unal (8/5): Love it! - They are very kind and warm
- Sheechee (1/5): Bad -
- Hamilton (10/5): Exceptional -
