• Chris (8/5): The host was very friendly and cooperative. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive till 1000pm. Martina was flexibl - Nice and close to the centre of town. A couple of maintenance issues. Drawers in the bedside table were broken. When you opened them, they would come off the runners. The lift was not working after day 1 so had to use the stairs. Wifi didn’t work and although there was a hubble set up we couldn’t get it to work. Without wifi that would have been hopeless anyway.

• Jasmin (8/5): Super relaxing chillout zone - Fabulous location, super relaxing, handy to the G line, easy to travel anywhere on the Gold Coast. Beach/swimming towels available as well as bath towels, which is really helpful :-) The washer and dryer are great, and easy to use. Despite the construction nearby, only a few moments of annoyance with noise, generally it was very peaceful. Easy access to supermarkets at Cavill or Pacific Fair, large fridge and freezer, and helpful host. Don't forget to top up the fridge chilled water compartment, it's not plumbed in and you'll want it! I'd stay again :-) (I forgot to take photos of the interior - the furniture is laid out differently, the sofa is different (bigger, black leatherette, and the television is in the corner with the entertainment unit in front of the lounge ranch slider. There are a couple of nice throws you can use to make the sofa more snuggly :-)) Only minor things to note: The bathroom renovation is great, once the final touches have been completed (ceiling crown moldings + paint, replacing the temporary waste pipe cover) it'll be perfect - the bathmat does get quite wet, but it's easy to pop over an outdoor chair to dry. The apartment is older, but generally seems pretty well maintained - there are a few things here and there, but nothing major. There is a void above the fridge rather than a shelf - and note that the cupboards to the left of the fridge aren't available to be used (locked off), only the ones to the right. That's unlikely to impact you unless you buy large quantities of food! The cleaner had missed a couple of things (no bodywash, lint in the dryer, couldn't find the top of the nutribullet) but the owner was super helpful, and they weren't biggies. It would be nice to have a nespresso type machine rather than a filter coffee machine, but that's just a preference.

• Anja (10/5): Perfekt place for a holiday - Wonderful modern and quiet flat with a view of the beautiful pool garden. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped. Nicely furnished living room. For breakfast I always sat on the balkony. Wifi and air conditioning worked very well. The keys were handed over on arrival without any problems. Nice contact with the owner. The location is ideal: The wonderful beach is only a block's walk away and has a lifeguard area for swimmers. From the beach you walk about 15 minutes to the centre of Surfers Paradise, where there is also a lot going on in the evening. The tram (Northcliffe Station) is about 100m away from the apartment house and offers a good connection to the trains to Brisbane City and airport, so you can easily get there without a car. I would gladly come again. nothing

• Gavin (8/5): Clean and spacious accommodation at an ideal location. - As the saying goes Location, Location, Location. This property is ideally situated between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, a 7 minute walk from Gold Coast Beach, a 3minute walk to the Northcliffe Tram station, a 7 minute tram ride to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, a 4 minute tram ride to Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise, and a convenience store on your doorstep. You could even catch a train from Brisbane to Helensvale and a tram to the Northcliffe Tram station, if you didn't have a car. The apartment is spacious; fully self- contained, and clean, so much better than a small hotel room. It is quiet with a balcony outlook over the pool and lush garden. The common facilities such as tennis court, outdoor and indoor pools, mini-gym and sauna are a bonus. Secure undercover parking is available when reserved. Very good, free Wi-Fi internet is accessible, and free Netflix is also available. Once renovations are complete this will be a gem of a property. There is air-conditioning in the living area and the apartment is located in a residential area which appears to be secure. However, the sliding doors in the bedroom and living area cannot be left open when leaving the apartment, or at night. Having security screens would provide peace of mind and fresh air.

The bathroom is due for repairs and renovations but it was perfectly clean and usable.
