Guest Reviews
- Garry (7/5): Good - The villa has the usual Bali charm and it´s a very good size space with great outside space. Garden and Pool were good.
Put air con in the living room and update things a bit and it would be perfect! No air con in the main living room isn´t great in a country like Bali with the humidity. Bathrooms are open so the mosquitos can easily come in.
It´s nice to have an outside shower but I´d trade that for no mosquitos.
- Elay (1/5): Plenty of Villa in Bali don’t waste your money - Looked nice in pictures but absolutely disappointed when I saw in person , smells dirty and no air conditioning in a living room and the living room is pretty large and they got one very old Stan fan that doesn’t even work Absolutely everything shower is bad air conditioning and bedroom doesn’t work. Swimming pool is dirty and yellow even though I told the management didn’t bother changing or fixing. , rug on the main sofa cut and smells funny
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Its a little tired and needs some love, but at the same time its beautiful Mosquitos
- Anonymous (1/5): Could not use pool - refused reimbursement - My family and I recently spent four nights at Ohana Private Villa. We were so excited to stay here as the place had been recommended by friends of ours. Unfortunately, the pool was unable to be used for the entire duration of our stay - we were not told that this would be the case before we booked (and paid) for the villa. When we arrived at the accommodation, we noticed that the pool was a green/ brown colour with a thick film over the top. Despite the maintenance teams best efforts, the conditions did not improve. Management minimised how bad the situation was and kept guaranteeing that it would be fixed by the next day. It was not fixed before we left. We also encountered two nights with no electricity in the main living area of the villa. Due to these maintenance issues, there was a constant stream of workers coming into the villa attempting to fix the pool and electricity. We booked this place specifically because it was a private villa with a pool. We did not receive any privacy, or a pool. We were offered an insulting refund of 10% for our stay due to the ‘inconvenience’ we incurred. The villa manager, Agustira was lovely and was obviously in a horrible situation, stuck between us and his bosses - he was clearly under immense pressure from his bosses as he broke down crying in my partners arms on the last day when he had to tell us that we weren’t going to be fully compensated. These things happen, and had it been handled more fairly, I would not be leaving this review. But when you pay for one thing, and get something entirely different from what is advertised, you expect to be reimbursed.
