- Kathryn (9/5): Wonderful location and staff! - Luzville was our peaceful home away from home during our stay in Port Barton, where we woke up to the sound of birds each day. Mica, the receptionist/property manager was also wonderful!! She did everything to take care of our needs, from food to tours and transport. We had to move our planned boat tour 2x due to illness and she could organise this for us without any problems.🙏🏼
- Jaume Albert (10/5): - Precioso
- Gee (8/5): if nais mo magchill and feel ang nature, this is the place! - love it here!

- Magdalena (9/5): - Hotel w odległości krótkiego spaceru od miasta, cisza i spokój, super działające wifi Bardzo głośna klimatyzacja
- Mikael (10/5): - Every thing
- Ondřej (9/5): -
- Nora (9/5): Good value for money - Very good accommodation, the staff, especially Mika, are very kind and helpful! Delicious breakfast, close to the center by motorbike. Unfortunately the WiFi is not very good, but apart from that everything was great! Wifi did not work
- Julie (9/5): -
- Herson (10/5): - Very nice d maingay at maayos makipag usap,
- Vladyslav (9/5): -
- Cosma (5/5): -
- Virginia (8/5): -
- Gabriel (10/5): Absolutely perfect - Absolutely everything worked well, the staff were super nice and provided us with everything we needed, including a motorcycle to explore the area (though you might not even need it, most things are close). Room is super clean, terrace perfect for a late afternoon chill. I loved also that they have all the environmental certificates from local authorities. I can't think of anything I did not like.
- Eigener, grosser Bungalow mit allem, was wir brauchten. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, spezielles Dankeschön an Mica! Aircondition war relativ laut
- Sarah (10/5): - Sehr liebe Gastgeber und super leckeres Frühstück jeden Tag frisch zum Balkon geliefert😋
- Manea (9/5): Had a good stay in Barton at Luzville. Very helpful staff - Property as described
Very friendly staff, aiding with every request
In a quiet area
- Maria Angels (9/5): -
- Fiona (8/5): Rustic and peaceful. - Lots of space. Comfortable bed and pillows. A couple of issues at start but they were quickly resolved. Mika is very responsive and helpful.
We walked up the hill to town and easily found a tuk tuk to bring us home.
- Megan (9/5): Secluded and Relaxing Stay - We enjoyed having our own space, with kitchen amenities. Very quiet as only 6 huts but a short walk (20 minutes) to the sea front and restaurants. There is a bit of a hill to get in and out of the property but not problem as the property can organise a tricycle if struggling with luggage etc.
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Hubara (10/5): Exceptional - Best stuff mika was amazing
Place is beautiful and you have nice kitchen in your room
Good value for money and especially for Philippines Out off town(2 min drive) but for us it was good and quite
- Ciera (10/5): Nicest host we have had in the Philippines - Host was super super lovely! Organised bike, washing and van to el nido. Lovely and quiet area, own space tucked in the mountain. Shower was also great and water had no bad smell like most of the stays we have had. Truly lovely family who run this place. Loads of space for luggage . Bed super comfy! Wasn’t walking distance into town but we hired moped so was fine for us
- Pieter (7/5): Good - Calm bungalows, just outside of town When coming back at night be sure to have a flash light with you. Its a short 10min walk out of town. Also the road to go down/ up is very steep.
- Rafal (10/5): Exceptional - This stayhouse localized super comfortable around mountain and green. Not remote to vilage 10 min walk. The best place which we stayed for whole mont in Philippines. Nice garden, quiet.and clear. Personal very kindly and helpfull. Nothing to complain.
- Mattia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Bethany (10/5): Quiet, peaceful heaven - EVERYTHING! Quiet little serenity! Absolutely loved this place. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Has everything you need and the detached style makes it feel like your own little home. I didn’t want to leave this place 🥰 everything was perfect and the ladies running it were just lovely. Would 10/10 recommend. Nothing.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Located above the Port Barton village in a more quiet area. The bungalow was well equipped and we could cook there when needed. There is a little shop at the reception to get basics for cooking. Mica has been very arranging and helped us with our excursions, scooter rental and laundry. The garden is well maintained, the bungalows could do with a bit of renovation and but compared to common accommodation in the Philippines, this one was really above the standards! You can walk up and down to the village (5-10 minutes), but if you have mobility issues then best to get a scooter/tuktuk. Don’t forget to look at the sky at night, the stars shine brightly there! Would suggest improving a bit the level of cleanliness of the bungalows.
- Rice (7/5): Good - Friendly staff Bad A/C always hot in the room
- Milan (7/5): Good - It was quiet (unlike "downtown" Port Barton) and spacious, staff was very helpful. Bit far from restaurants and bars.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Katrina (7/5): Spacious bungalow in quiet location - Room was great. Had our own kitchen as well. The staff were so friendly and we were able to rent a scooter off them. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good. They provided free drinking water as well and breakfast is available for 180php. Nice a quiet location as well Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast. Took over and hour to come and didn’t get what we ordered and the food was pretty average. Just go somewhere in town. It is also a little bit out of the town. The walk isn’t long but is uphill on the way back.
Also our fire alarm randomly went off for a few seconds early in the morning one day.
- Alin (8/5): Good place to stay for the price - The place is very clean and quite comfortable
The internet speed is good, actually is a starlink connection. A bit too far from the port barton center. but if you rent a scooter like I did is quite convenient.
- Tanya (10/5): Helpful in booking the tours - Wonderful garden friendly staff nice cottages
- Ellen (6/5): Pleasant - I just wish the bed/ pillows were comfy and the AC wasn't as loud, so unfortunately I slept terribly whilst I was there, but if those two things were fixed it would be massively improved overall
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet but not too far from town Would have liked to booked another night but they were fully booked
- Karolis (10/5): Nice stay in the nature - Everything you could need is provided (even filtered water), hosts are friendly, breakfast was good.
Also, expect to see some house geckos, who will guard your house from mosquitos. Further from the town center, but you can easily walk ~12 min to reach it or get a tuktuk/tricycle.
- Faisal (10/5): Perfect place, thank you. -
- Ludovic (9/5): Superb - Excellent situation, very quiet place not far from town. Rooms are very nice, with kitchen and nice terrasse
Owners are very helpful you can rent scooter there
- Hannah (7/5): Good - No mosquitoes
Close to center (3 min tuktuk away)
The receptionist was very helpful, responded to my messages instantly and helped with all booking arrangements and transfers that I needed
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect stay! - So spacious, fan AND ac, good shower, helpful staff, very quiet, great location (1min tuk tuk from station) - 10/10 would come here again!!! Nothing to dislike!!
- Zak (8/5): Beautiful stay for great value. - Very peaceful area, felt secluded in your own space.
Great value for money - big room with comfy bed and kitchen area.
Rented scooter and could also order trike through the reception lady. Very few complaints but water pressure really poor, we also had a few gecko’s come in to the room even though doors stayed shut the whole time.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Cute cottage with separate dining/kitchen, excellent internet. Situated in nature with lots of birds and a great view of the stars…. Peaceful. House keeping was very good. The aircon was noisy, especially when the electricity surged low. The driveway is very steep! This combined with the distance to town made us regret the decision to stay in this location when we ventured out. You need to be fit and not afraid of the dark/street dogs (or rent a scooter).
- Hanna (5/5): Was ok, but didn't quite live up to expectation - The location was good and slightly away from town so a bit quieter than staying on or near the beach.
They took us into town as well a couple of times using their tuc tuc FOC which was much appreciated given the poor weather.
Most staff very friendly and hospitable. Our room was full of ants in the bathroom/ kitchen the entire length of our stay. We raised it with the staff and they did come to clean, but they kept reappearing and unfortunately we couldn't switch rooms as they were fully booked.
Bed was a bit too firm for us. Aircon although functional was quite loud.
Power outages often with no back up although I think that is common in Port Barton.
Dog barking for about an hour in the middle of the second night.
Woman on the desk when we arrived was grumpy and therefore unapproachable.
- Thi (10/5): Exceptional - Everything here is nice and clean. They got everything we need! The pancake is so good!! A bit far from town but you can walk 10 minis pr tricycle for 50php.
- Edmundas (10/5): perfect quite location - Quite and well arranged location
- Ina (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, really really clean, AC worked well, kitchen well equipped. By far the most modern and clean place I stayed in at the Philippines -
- Karlijn (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very helpful when we forgot something at the accommodation!
A bit outside of town but they have their own tuktuk and it’s also easily walkable. There is a cute little breakfast place (covet) nearby as well
- Angelie (10/5): Away from the crowd and with a functional kitchen - I liked the province ambiance and quietness of the location.
I managed to cook using the kitchen, just bring or buy ingredients. They sell some kitchen stuff and beverages on the fridge and breakfast.
Ate, the daughter of the owner who manages the place was very accommodating and friendly.
She also coordinated our motorbike 500php per day and tuktuk (50php) to the beach tho it's a 10-minute walk to the beach. However, it's quite uphill to go out of the area. Nothing. It's safe to walk in the night, so the location tho far from the crown is not a problem.
Actually, it was very romantic to walk under the stars and the quiet moonlit road.
