- Ellen (10/5): Amazing stay, I can’t recommend enough and hope to be back soon! - We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation — there are so many positives to mention! The space was spotlessly clean, spacious, modern, and full of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it’s clear that the hosts have put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and well-equipped space for guests.
The outdoor area is just as lovely, with a good-sized pool and plenty of room to relax or enjoy activities. The location is peaceful, set in the small village of Vezzo, which offers a very authentic Italian experience. It’s just 10 minutes from Stresa, and there are a few restaurants and a community centre within walking distance.
One important tip: make sure to rent a car! We didn’t, and we found it quite challenging to get around as the local bus service is limited and unreliable.
The host was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable — even kindly offering us lifts into Stresa a few times, which we really appreciated.
Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway — just don’t forget the car! As others have mentioned, there are two dogs across the way that can bark — mostly when you enter by opening the gates or when opening the door. It didn’t particularly bother us, and it’s totally understandable, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone with small children who might be afraid of dogs.
- Cj (8/5): The kids loved it - The room is big and everything was clean
