• Richard (9/5): Clean comfortable and well managed - Well managed, comfortable, clean accommodation. Bed was big and comfortable with a mosquito net. Good location within a few minutes walk of easy the delta for organising boat trips. Lovely pool area. Convenient washing machine on site with outdoor drying area. Breakfast was good although quite basic. The room could do wi the more lightings as it was very dark inside. $10USD to use the washing machine especially as we had our own detergent was a little on expensive side.

• Tom (8/5): Heerlijk! - Heerlijk zwembad en fijne kamers, goede gastheer! Ontbijt top! Taxi en uitjes zijn bij de accommodatie te regelen, hoewel wel duurder dan in het dorpje. Locatie is naast het leverterrein en eerder daardoor elke ochtend om 7 uur wakker.

• Heike (10/5): Kleine Herberge zum Wohlfühlen - Wunderbare kleine Unterkunft in guter Lage. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und lecker. Die Zimmer hatten einen Kühlschrank, so dass man bei der Hitze immer kühle Getränke zur Verfügung hatte.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor diverse experiences Taxi drop-off naar Fathala voor 15.000 CFA en additional 8.000 naar de border lijkt wat overpriced

• Nico (9/5): - Prachtige accomodatie met mooie ruimte schone kamers. De hosts zijn erg vriendelijke en behulpzaam. Het uitgebreide ontbijt is van uitstekende kwaliteit. Ik heb nergens in Sénégal zo heerlijk ontbeten als daar. Vanaf hier de Saloum Delta verkend en het Park Fathala bezocht en de lions walk gedaan. Via Peter kon ik makkelijk een gids of chauffeur of motortaxi regelen. Een aanrader. Het zwembad was dagelijkse een welcome verkoeling. Echte aanrader! --
• GILBERT (10/5): - Un havre de paix magnifique d'une grande propreté. Immense piscine, vaste chambre, excellent petit déjeuner très varié et très copieux... Gentillesse du personnel. Bref une adresse que l'on recommande à tous points de vue !
• j.mig (10/5): - Chambre spacieuse un peu sombre mais très propre. La salle de bain est parfaite l avec eau chaude et pression. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. De la charcuterie et du fromage en prime. Tout cela en face du jardin et de la piscine en regardant et écoutant les oiseaux. Abdoulaye et le propriétaire sont très sympathiques. Nous avons fait deux excursions en pirogue avec Stromae que nous vous recommandons. En particulier Misirah et l'île de Sipo pour 40000fcfa et l'île aux coquillages et reposoir aux oiseaux pour 30000fcfa. C'était absolument magique ! Stromae fait également la visite du village. • BARRY (10/5): - Bel environnement dépaysant et relaxant. Grandes chambres familales avec salle de douche, propres et équipées d'une climatisation. Très belle piscine. Petit déjeuner royal, personnel serviable et à l'écoute. Nous avons vraiment passé un séjour agréable et reposant. Je recommande.

• Judith (7/5): Beautiful haven of peace, with beautiful pool and garden, but difficult local staff - Beautiful calm garden with delightful pool surrounded by palms and colourful flowers. I had a nice big comfortable room. The breakfast was very good and filling with good coffee. The owners are very nice, friendly, helpful. However, we only spoke on the phone as they were not there when I stayed. The owners had left a young man in charge but unfortunately we couldn’t understand each other. He spoke no English. I can speak enough French to have a conversation with a French person, but I couldn’t understand his Senegalese accent, and he couldn’t understand me. This, coupled with cultural differences, meant that two small issues which should have been sorted quickly (the lock on my door wouldn’t work, and there was a slight question with the bill) turned into a heated exchange. Both issues were eventually resolved.
• Jordan (9/5): Relaxed, peaceful, well managed stay - We really enjoyed the pool, it is well designed with an ample deep end for good swimmers. And the well located pool cover was perfect for the midday sun. We felt safe and well looked after - we will return. There wasn’t a bathroom door in our room, just a curtain which meant that everything was shared. Otherwise we loved it!

• Angelika (10/5): Welcoming oasis - We liked it so much, that we stayed longer than acutally planed. The hosts are wonderful people, we felt so welcome! Also they were very helpful to find where we could get some good food in the village and what to do besides the near Fathala Wildlife Reserve. The rooms were clean and nice (with a well filled minibar) as well as the Pool. Last but not least: the breakfast was amazing! Lost of fresh fruit, Baguette, Croissants, etc. Nothing.
