Guest Reviews
- Wendy (10/5): Great accommodation - Easy no contact check in. Good communication from host Hannah. Very clean, modern and fresh. Nice touches of milk, cereal etc. Completely private access. Good parking. Adequate WiFi. Bed comfy. Good size fridge freezer. Plenty of instant hot water. Hot water was potentially dangerous if you weren't careful. Only suitable for couples and little privacy on the shower arrangements which isn't an issue for us.

- Jaka (10/5): - The host was very nice. She left some coffe and milk for us when we arrive, and she put up a baby cot. The location is nice and quiet, free parking at the room. Everything was OK
- Ella (9/5): Old Beauty Room - It was a sweet place to stay for a couple of nights. Tucked away but comfortable, clean and bright and well equipped. Fresh milk and biscuits/breakfast cereal was a nice bonus.
The host sent a super welcoming and informative email about access etc.
Also, great hot water which was much appreciated after a day's hiking. One tiny thing was the WiFi connection, it was poor. It didn't really affect me too much but others might not be happy with it.
- Alison (10/5): Comfortable stay with welcoming host - Quiet, private location and care and attention by providing fresh milk, breakfast items and tastefully decorated space - a bonus to be able to sit outside All was fantastic
- Clarke (7/5): - Clean and tidy. It suited my needs for the 2 night stay away for business purposes. Very quiet and private. TV signal sporadic, freezes.
- Jackie (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (9/5): Perfect little hideaway. Hosts are lovely and room well equipped - Clean, comfortable, private, well-equipped. Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Fabulous little oasis and quiet little bolt hole for me! Just what I needed - Perfect location, very central walking distance to everything, exactly what I wanted The weather! But I certainly don’t blame hosts for that
- Alison (10/5): Great 2 day stay, everything you could need for a comfortable stay. - Private, clean and so comfortable Nothing at all
- Lynda (7/5): Fit the bill for accommodation near to Bristol Airport. - Clean and modern. A parking space was made available for us.
Milk was left in the fridge - really handy. Quite compact, but fine as we were just using it to sleep in, nothing else.
Would have preferred a quieter clock in the room - very loud tick!
- Angie (9/5): A return visit - Excellent location as we were visiting our daughter. Quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable room and bed. Everything needed for a short stay Couldn’t get a signal for the TV, but we didn’t contact the host as we didn’t need it.
- Olwyn (10/5): Excellent facility that completely fulfilled our needs. - Central location in a quiet area. Appreciated the milk, coffee, cereal etc that was left for our use. No complaints.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - Lots of care have been taken to make sure this property is meticulously pristine,
It has lots of homely features and everything you need for a short stay.
Don't be put off that this annexe is close to the family home, it's 100% private and only had to interact with the host via message unless I needed anything.
The milk in the fridge and cereals, tea/ coffee facility was a nice touch.
Would highly recommend
- Sof (7/5): Great for a weekend away - The owner was very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend away It was our own fault…….we booked our trip last minute and we went off the rating rather than the reviews we wasn’t aware that the accommodation was overlooked by the family home, it didn’t feel private so we had the curtains shut the whole time.
- Christopher (7/5): Pleasant and near to friends in Timsbury. - Location suited us, good off road parking in front of main house. The bed was very comfortable and although we had brought our own cerials and tea, there was tea/coffee milk provided along with cornflakes, biscuits etc. Very friendly and approachable host. The plug in the basin didn't hold water, I should have mentioned it but forgot - sorry Hannah. Could have separate ventilation in toilet area.
- Colin (8/5): Excellent for a short stay. - Every effort made to make the stay good. Excellent lighting. when you return at night. Although looked upon, the curtains were quite adequate for privacy. Would have liked a grab handle or non slip shower mat and a towel rail. We know why the screen was there, but it's instability was concerning. The sink plug needed a new washer as it drained away while you were using it.
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Judi-anne (8/5): A beautiful, comfortable and stylish compact holiday home - highly recommended! - It was very cosy and comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything there that I needed - including tea and chocolate biscuits 😊. A very comfortable bed.
The owner Hannah was very responsive and helpful. It was fine - maybe a little more space in the kitchen area might have been helpful.
Apologies that I did not take photos.
- Judi-anne (8/5): Very good -

- Eleanor (10/5): Perfect "Tiny Home" for a short stay - Comfy bed, good shower, thoughtful extras (iron and ironing board, hairdryer) Felt very private and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Incredibly easy check in and check out. Highly reccomend.
- Peter (7/5): Lovely room but location rather odd. - Lovely clean and relatively well equipped garden room. Shower was nice and powerful and bed comfortable. Kitchenette small but usable with a handy fridge-freezer. The location is very poor - you’re only a few feet from the windows of the owners main house - it’s essentially a shed (albeit well equipped) in a private garden. Great shower but it is open to the room instead of being in the separate toilet room (and towels were v small so bring your own). The location should be clearer before booking.
- Johnathan (10/5): Perfect for what we wanted - Friendly welcome, very clean with tea coffee milk and breakfast snack provided NA
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Penny (10/5): Lovely hosts, and lovely clean place to stay - It was just perfect for us as we were visiting family host's were non intrusive, but very pleasant to speak to a lovely young couple. Can't think nk of anything
- Joao (10/5): Super nice self catering room - Perfect for a short stay. Good location if you are diving at Vobster. Hannah is super nice - great hostess. N/A
- Raymond (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (8/5): Very good - lovely room, very modern, lovely host didn't realise when booking that we would be over looked by hosts family home, tv signal was poor, didn't feel very private without shutting curtains
- Francesca (8/5): Very good -
- Dan (10/5): Fantastic place, will definitely come again when next in the area. - Great little space, comfortable and has everything you need TV is on its way out, picture isnt great
