• Reyno (10/5): Best service ever....! - We stayed for a week and had the most wonderful time. The hotel facilities are great but wat makes this place truly great is the amazing staff. Everyone treated us with such kindness. A big thank you to the efficient house keeping boys, to the friendly service staff and the chefs making the most amazing food, to the friendly reception staff and the always smiling bellboys and to management for always checking in on us. You are a true reflection of the warm hospital people of Sri Lanka. We will cherish these memories forever. Thank you all 🙏 Not a thing

• Suphang (10/5): Good short stay, worth the money - The room is large, comfy bed, nice shower, the proximity to the center, and it’s really close to this one spa called Nirwaan Ayurvedic Spa, really nice spa massage there. Staffs are super! My sandal was broken and they found me a new one and said that I could keep it seeing me walking bare feet , how kind :) There were some gardeners working outside in the garden which is attached to the balcony of my room, it would be nice if they could work on some other days when these rooms are not occupied to ensure guests privacy. Dinner buffet was really nothing special, selections were just okay, Tastes could definitely be better, salad bar could be more fresh.

• Sergeij (7/5): Vriendelijk personeel, goed zwembad en ontbijt, muf ruikende kamer. - Het zwembad was top en het ontbijt ook en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. De kamer rook muffig maar ik vermoed dat het met de ventilatie te maken heeft. De fitnessfaciliteiten waren erg basic.
• Emily (8/5): Lovely stay - would recommend. - This hotel was lovely and the buffet was absolutely fantastic! The pool is wonderful and the pool man was so lovely even throwing our ball back to us when we were in the pool. There was a beautiful wedding happening which was amazing to watch. The beds were comfy and we had such a lot of room in our bedroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I think I do prefer smaller local venues for a more personal touch but that is just my opinion.

We’ve been travelling around Sri Lanka quite a bit and this was our favourite - -the pool -the view -boutique hotel feel -clean rooms -comfortable beds -the ala cart food menu was ok, average . If there’s an area for improvement, the quality of food and prices could be better. But not a huge deal compared to how wonderful the rest of the visit was.

The dinner buffet was the highlight of our stay – a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Special thanks to Harsha and the other server who I couldn't get the name tho, they were very professional, attentive, and well-mannered. Highly recommend to whoever is looking for a peaceful time away from the city

• Haneef (9/5): I was there with my son and cousin and we enjoyed our stay at the property. I am planning to travel again to Kandy and s - The property was kept well and clean. The surrounding is beautiful and maintained. The location was good. Quiet and beautiful scenery.
• Weerasinghe (8/5): Very good - Their food is exceptional. Service is also very good. Comfortability and cleanliness is very good. Location is very good especially the view from balcony. If you opt for full board or breakfast dinner option this is a bang for the buck you spend. My only concern is room conditions feel bit older and improperly maintained.

Hotel was very generous in offering late check out at no extra fees. I ended Up not requiring it. But still appreciate the offer. Keep up the amazing work Regent Team. Gym needs to be updated and equipment maintained properly. Had a few safety concerns in regards to the gym facilities. Looks like no one attends to it. Ensuit shower needs a shelf for toiletries. Minibar fridge was not working, however this was replaced promptly. Overall enjoyed my stay and was sad to leave.

• Sameena (9/5): Superb - The rooms are spacious and offer stunning views of the mountains. Breakfast is generous with a wide spread, and dinners are equally elaborate if you choose to dine in. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful—quick to arrange tuk-tuks and ready with recommendations on local attractions. There's also a lovely jewellery store within the hotel that offers a great variety of gems and jewellery at reasonable prices—just remember to bargain! Highly recommend the hotel, not just for the service but also for the location and views
• Sharmini (7/5): excellent for the short stay. - Staff were willing to accommodate our requests. the drainage could be looked at to ensure that smells do not travel into the room.
• Amir (3/5): Poor - Pretty beautiful hotel We checked in at 8:00 PM and received our room keys. The room was a bit far from the reception, but that wasn't really an issue. One of the staff members walked us there, and when we arrived, the door was wide open. She hesitated at first, then stepped inside and said, “This is your room.” We went back to reception, and when we returned to the room, the key didn’t work. After two back-and-forth trips between the room and reception—each time they thought the issue was fixed—a staff member finally came with us and used a physical key to open the door. They explained the battery in the lock was dead and needed replacing. After replacing it, they said it should work. Still, we weren’t comfortable with the situation and were worried it might happen again, so we asked to switch rooms. Once they moved us, we went back with a staff member to the original room to collect our luggage—only to find the door wouldn’t open again. In the end, we finally settled into a working room at 9:30 PM.
• Sammika (7/5): Room's are clean and good - The rooms were well-maintained, clean, and spacious. The swimming pool was also clean and enjoyable. However, the overall service from the staff was quite disappointing. We arrived at the hotel by scooter, and the security guard directed us to park at an isolated parking area about 100 meters away from the reception. We had to carry our bags and walk all the way to the reception, and during this time, no one greeted us or offered any assistance. It also seemed like the staff were unaware of our booking made via Booking.com. We arrived at 1:30 PM but were only given our room at 2:30 PM. There was no help with our luggage—staff simply handed us the key and told us to go to the room ourselves. We had to find the room on our own and carry all our bags without any support. “There were mosquitoes in the room, and when I asked the reception for a mosquito vaporizer, they informed me that none were available.” Summary: The hotel and rooms are quite good, but the service and hospitality from the staff were very poor. It felt like the staff didn’t really care about the guests, especially since we arrived on a scooter.

• Malith (8/5): A good learning experience - The location was great. The view from the room was very beautiful. Lunch set menu was not satisfactory, very limited number of dishes were available in the menu, just as “this is what we have, eat if you like or don’t “ Dinner and Breakfast was great with many varieties.They should consider about the safety of the guests much, the reason I say this is I observed a sharp glass edge on a dining table just outside the main restaurant area, it is very close to the garden where little children are playing. I saw similar type of tables with tapes applied to glass edges also. They should replace them as soon as possible before any serious injury occurs.

Food wasn't good. French toast was burnt. Second thing was our room door lock battery needded to changed. before guest check in to the hotel these things needed to be checked.FO team doesn't know how to smile and greet the guesets.Even the locals should treat as Foreigners even we do pay. These things need to be improved.We both are hoteliers and these get notified quickly.

We had to then pay additional money for our 4 children only to find that each room was a double room already

The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The location is convenient, close to major attractions and dining options. Overall, a great value for money and would recommend it for both leisure and business travelers

• Elaine (9/5): Comfortable stay in the heart of Kandy - We stayed for 1 night passing through on our honeymoon. The staff were amazing, they decorated our room and dinner table. Our room had the most incredible view and the bed was super comfortable. Would happily stay again. Not really the hotels fault but it was hard to get a Tuk tuk to pick us up so make sure you’ve booked your driver in advance. The porter was great in securing us a last minute pick up!

Not as clean as you might expect, it's an old hotel, hallway and rooms have like a mold smell, possibly due to carpets, and unlean curtains etc. Bathrooms outdated. I tried the breakfast, the dinner buffet, very minor choices, and the quality is not what you expect from a 4-Star. I didn't enjoy any food in this hotel. All the best.

The pool was amazing also, with one of the most beautiful views you can find from a hotel window. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and made my 2 night stay exceptional. Thanks to all the team there! No negatives at all. It was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
