- Ilan (10/5): Great - Hotel standard room, nice and big, comfortable bed. Modern kitchen. It was great for me. If you have an aversion to climbing narrow stairs this might not be for you.

- Cissy (9/5): - My stay to this place was truly special. The level of hygiene was excellent. Everything was clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. I felt completely at home embraced with peace and comfort beyond the physical space. The warmth and care within the home more than made up for it. The location. The flat is located right on the road, and doors didn't have locks, which affected my sense of privacy.

- Andrew (9/5): Exceptionally clean and quiet en suite room at the top of a friendly house - Quiet, top floor room. Exceptionally clean with small en-suite. Very welcoming and friendly host. We had a few requests regarding chemical sensitivity and these were answered quickly and catered for without hesitation. The only minor issue was a lack of bedside lamps due to the compact nature of the room . Some may find two flights of stairs tricky.

- Jordanka (9/5): Compact homly and very clean - It was really clean and no necessary clutter. Hosts were really kind and accommodating with our query and wishes. Quite tight and compact, especially the bathroom. We had to go to the hosts kitchen for hot drinks as there is no space for little refreshments table in the room but that was well compensated by the host being quite happy to use their kitchen.

- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - They had a beautiful kitchen. This room was very comfortable. The bed was soft. The shower was very clean and wide. People was very nice. Everyone there spoke with kind eyes. Helped me up stairs with things. All were very nice to my baby. Parking was very good because it's at this very end of the parking zone. The whole of Croydon is blocked from parking without paying, even on weekends. You walk west 1 minute and free parking everywhere.

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood and a five-minute walk away to the bus stop. The Griffiths were hospitable and flexible. They ensured that we had a pleasant stay over the weekend. It’s a great place to spend a few nights when visiting London.

The en-suite room is in a family house tucked away on the top floor - extremely quiet and peaceful withe the most comfortable mattress/bed I've slept in for a long time! I only stayed one night to attend a friend's birthday party in Croydon which is very easy to access by taxi and/or public transport. Highly recommended. Only thing would have been to be able to have a coffee in the morning but it does say breakfast not included so I was happy to get food outside.

In room:- No tea /coffee making facilities and milk No storage cupboard or drawers facilities No chair, no table or other services to put things. (except on top of chest of drawers where TV is) 3. Kitchen is hosts' domestic kitchen, not dedicated guest facility.

The room itself is on the last floor or the three-story house, it was super quiet and very clean! Would be good to have a closet to hang the clothes (the one in the room was full) and maybe a bedside lamp would be nice but other than that, it was perfect!

- Jason (9/5): Great stay, comfortable and accommodating in every way. - The host was very welcoming and accommodated my check-in and check-out requests. The room was very clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, good bedding and a pair of towels laid out. There was also a TV in the room but I did not use it. The en-suite was clean, tidy and modern with a good shower, toilet and basin. Noisy neighbourhood and there were a few people in the alleyway behind shouting and generally being quite noisy until around midnight. Closing the windows helped with this and I wore earplugs when I went to sleep anyway so it didn't bother me too much.

- Abdul (9/5): This really feels like a home from home. - This is a simple but pleasant room with ensuite on the top floor of a family home. It is private but personal and it really feels like a home away from home. it is very different to the regular hotel room designed to meet bare requirements used by thousands that i am used to when travelling on a low budget. It was clean and comfortable, with everything you will need including excellent WiFi. It was exceptionally good value for money. It is a little bit of a walk from the train station and I believe parking is expensive (I came by train).

- Reuben (9/5): A stay to remember. - Well this just happened when I wasn't getting any rooms nearby when I had to attend a workshop. The property was great and well maintained. Truly a home away from home. The landlady was truly a gem of a person, helpful and polite and made you feel homely. A great room, quiet place, ample lighting and a great bed with private bathroom. The sunset views were amazing. Close from bus stops. Shops nearby. And the locality is pleasant. Reasonable price for a one room per night. Would greatly recommend it for solo or couple travellers. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. The only glitch was Google maps initially but the landlady was polite to guide me across to the right address.
