Guest Reviews
- Sanderson (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent, the rooms were big and beds comfortable. Toilets systems are not flushing properly. the front door is difficult to open . The middle bathroom door handle needs replacing as got locked inside. Front lounge needs painting. All said excellent property , good size value for money . No parking but cat park park nearby . Thank you overall very satisfied. Xx
- Bogdan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (9/5): We loved our stay and the dogs loved it aswell and right by the beach - There was a lot of mold around the bath and in the grout
- Clare (10/5): Clean, big property located perfectly. - Great, clean and spacious property which was located perfectly for all of our holiday needs. Will definitely be returning. N/A
- Bethney (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (10/5): Loved it! - Really well furnished throughout. Bathrooms could use some updating.
- Denise (8/5): Apart from the few basically small details needing addressed we all had a great day, only used kitchen for making a cup - The house was very large and all bedrooms were spacious and plenty of storage. Having the two bathrooms and a toilet was helpful Could do with a fresh coat of paint in the living room wall, looks like maybe someone has had banners or something on the wall and ripped the paint off. Need a coat hook in hall for the coats.
Charged £100 cleaning fee, when there was sticky cup stains on bedroom units windows need cleaned , no hoover to clean up. A spindle on staircase is loose and could be dangerous. Broken floor tile on first floor bathrom. Also duvet don’t fit the duvet sets and cheap duvets
- Jayden (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (8/5): Lovely time. - The house was lovely and spacious with amenities that made it very comfortable. Extra bedding was also provided. Even though the home is right by the sea front, the area is quiet and we felt safe as a family. Everything you could ask for is in walking distance from the property. We had a slight problem with the cleanliness of the property at the beginning of the stay. The property company was made aware and contacted their cleaning company to discuss.
- Tim (10/5): Excellent spot in central Blackpool - House was very clean, a great size, and a perfect base to go from. Staff were very responsive - the electric tripped shortly after we arrived and they had someone on site within 20 minutes to fix it, plus there was a broken spindle on the bannister when we arrived, but we reported it immediately and staff made a note so it wouldn't be taken from the damage deposit. Rooms are all a great size, and the buildings opposite on Google Maps have now been demolished so you have an uninterrupted sea view from all rooms. Staff were all very friendly on the phone and the cleaner thanked us for leaving the place clean when we popped back in to cheekily use the loo as we were leaving. It's centrally located which is great for exploring but does mean it's a taxi ride from pretty much anywhere you end up if you're on a night out. Taxi is about £7 from North Pier.
We couldn't find blankets for the sofa bed so used the extra throws from the other beds.
There's a bathroom on each floor shared between two rooms, but it's down and up a short staircase - not a big problem but a consideration if you have anybody with mobility problems.
There are no parking restrictions on the road outside but don't rely on being able to park there as it will most likely be full. You should be fine to park on the pavement opposite for unloading though.
- Jasmine (6/5): Lovely location, nice big house but not the cleanest property - A lovely big house very close to the prom, sea view from lots of the rooms. Very convenient, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Parking is limited especially on busy days. Cleanliness let this property down - sofa was hairy/dusty I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it without putting throws on top. If you are really sensitive about cleanliness I would not book here - there were other issues like some mould on bathroom sealant, radiators being dirty and the stairs/skirting.
- Hayley (8/5): Lovely property; loads of space and great location. - Great, spacious, well laid out property with more than ample space for our group of 4 adults and a child. Only 100 yards or so from the beach, with lovely sea views from the house, 1 minute walk from a tram stop and about 10 minutes walk to central pier.
There's everything you'll need within the house; plenty of cutlery and crockery, good amount of cooking utensils and appliances and a big fridge freezer. Tea, coffee and sugar provided along with salt Ava pepper and a pack of welcome biscuits. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows and extra blankets if you need them. Lots of storage space in the bedrooms with hangers provided. Big sofa and additional big chaise lounge style sofa.
Loads to do nearby like The Dungeons, Madam Tussads, The Tower, Sealife Centre, Circus, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Zoo and lots more.
Loads of places to eat; Salt and Pepper fish and chip shop about 4 minutes walk from the house was particularly lovely to take back to the house.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely stay again. The house is in need of a refresh. A lick of paint would make a huge, huge difference as it's the first thing you notice when you walk into the living room and this let's an otherwise fabulous house down.
Very dirty windows in the kitchen that you can't see out of.
Only blinds in the bedrooms which don't block any light at all. Could do with blackout blinds behind them.
Parking can be tricky. There is free parking right outside but only a few spaces which aren't usually available. That being said there's loads of car parks nearby that only cost about £25 for 5 days.
Would be good if a hoover was left available so we could have hoovered to refresh the place during our stay as there's lots of sand when you've spent the day at the beach!
No washing up liquid or additional bin bags available.
- Amber (8/5): Was comfy & would stay again! - Lovely house very spacious!! Great location and Access to public transport was easy and very close! Also does have WiFi which is an added bonus! The cleaning staff were brilliant, we requested early check in days in advance but this hadn’t been communicated to them and they did such a great job in the short space of time! When we booked we thought the amount was set but then was dropped with an extra £100 cleaning fee, wasn’t very clear in the beginning. Could do with a lick of paint in areas. Access to a hoover would have been nice. Windows could do with clean on the outside as views were stunning but could barely see. We had no clue where to put rubbish bags as no access to bins.
- Yasmin (7/5): Good value for money but have to chase refund for damage deposit - Property is spacious and located in a good place, we didn’t find parking too much of an issue thankfully but I can understand why it can be an issue. They take a £100 damage deposit which is meant to be refunded “in 14 days”, I’ve been waiting 21 days for a refund which I don’t think is on so make sure you check your bank for your refund if you book. I shouldn’t have to be chasing for this.
No curtains for windows, only white blinds which block out absolutely no sunlight, we went in June with a toddler who thought it was time to get up ant start the day at 5am, also struggled with sleep when it was meant to be dark as a lot of light from the streets leaked through, I took an eye mask and I really needed it.
- Maria (9/5): It was everything we could have wished for - The location was amazing. The property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. All the little added extras like a packet of welcome biscuts added to the experiance It could do with a lick of paint in some areas but that is me looking for a negative. It certainly didnt affect our judgement on how nice the property was.
- James (9/5): excellent accommodation -
- Leanne (7/5): Good -
- Natasha (7/5): Overall happy with the apartment - Very spacious Door handle not fixed on properly good cause you to looked in the room. No parking facilities was stressful.
- Ellie (8/5): Very good - Property was very spacious and in a fabulous location
- Victoria (7/5): Lovely New year get away, plenty to do in Blackpool itself. - Large house, modernly decorated. Very spacious in a great location. Key code Not very clear at all it was a guessing game, phoned but the office shut on Friday lunch , didn’t think it was an emergency so guessed it could of been 7720 on confirmation but it was 2023 (not clear) ? . I can’t send photos from here but I will take it up with the agent with the wi fi and check in details and the house rules to ensure and comfortable enjoyable stay please familiarise yourself with your check in details (not received ). Tge £100 cleaning extra is again not very clear hence why i thought I’d already paid everything in total. I phoned the office about this which she agreed it isn’t very clear and getting reworded. Having 4 kids staying I phoned the emergency phone line as we never received no wi fi details as it stated in the message. The emergency contact was quite rude and then sent photo messages to the booking message, that there was no wi fi on the property. Even thought it stated in the check in message that further information would be provided. We left the rubbish on the door step as I didn’t want anything to leak or smell, again no instruction of what or where to dispose of this. Frying pan no handle on it.
- Ritu (8/5): Lovely stay near the beach - Location is perfect. Decor and all facilities are good. Bedrooms have lots of space and all were really comfortable.
Everything is provided.
We spent Christmas here and we cooked and ate for 8 so plenty of space. No WiFi available!
Maybe 2 sets of keys as we went out separately.
- Chris (9/5): Great place to stay however small details do let it down - Amazing location, beautiful house. Would definitely stay again, However small changes could make this an exceptional stay. No WiFi and no signal in building. The pans in the kitchen were very poor. One pan handle completely snapped and the other pan bottoms were warped/burnt on the bottom.
The cleaning wasn't good. We found crisp packets in the sofa cushions, food between cushions and even a electronic writing pad, and the pans were dirty. For a £100 cleaning fee I would have expected better
- Sheila (3/5): Disappointing - Kitchen and some furnishings were ok. No Wi-Fi despite it should have been supplied, bedding was ripped in one bed, sleeps 8 but can only sit 6 fir meals, seating in lounge if far too low, blanket left in lounge was nasty, heating was constantly failing so no hot water. Complained - no reply from owner ! Rude.
- Malcolm (8/5): An unassuming hidden gem of holiday rental accommodation. If you stay in Blackpool you must stay her - No breakfast as we self catered. The location was perfect however. Only 50 yards away from the promenade, tram stops and a 10 minute brisk walk heading North towards the Central pier, tower and all of the attractions. Tram ride South to the pleasure beach. Fantastic The one thing that folks of today cant seem to live without is WiFi. Wifi would have improved the experience so that in "down time" kids could be guaranteed of entertainment. It would have been easier to check out the local area, restaurants, zoo etc before actually going if there was Wi Fi access.
- Steve (8/5): Very good - Building was excellent, well furnished and clean. Location is great for all of the local amenities. To be critical, more than one toilet roll per bathroom when ten people are staying for two days and coat hooks in the hallway.
The boiler kept switching off, easy to reset but annoying.
- Lisa (10/5): Excellent - All round excellent Nothing
- Alan (9/5): My son was comfortable during the stay here - The central location was good. Large rooms with plenty of space Was a little surprised at the additional cleaning charge prior to arrival. Usually this is included not additional
- Bethany (9/5): Lovely cosey house in the heart of Blackpool - Good location and very cosey Maybe tea/coffee standard juice could be available but plenty of shops near by to purchase them
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Great location, very spacious and comfortable.
- Kieron (9/5): Superb -
- Shaunagh76 (8/5): Rooms with a View - This is a large, beautiful house. The location is amazing, especially for pleasure beach south pier and train station. You have tram and bus services right across the road and a beautiful beach too. The rooms are spacious the beds are comfortable. Lots of room for large family or group of friends. Would recommend 👌 There was a fee little thing, which hopefully will be fixed, have emailed owners. Not the place if you can't use stairs. There is no WiFi, although not an issue for us, but maybe future guests.
- Alison (10/5): We had a lovely stay, the accommodation was perfect for our trip. Would definitely book again! - I had to phone the emergency contact number to get the code for the lock box as the one i had been sent when booking was incorrect. This was rectified straight away & i was given the correct code. No wifi in the property
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fraser (9/5): Superb -
- Kayleigh (9/5): very enjoyable - very spacious, great location, clean a couple taps were lose, living room door handle wasn’t on properly, dirty windows
- Carly (9/5): Fantastic location for both south and north pier- comfortable and spacious family home. - Location was fantastic. Very spacious - plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. Clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Would stay again as great value. Limited parking - which we were aware of. With perseverance we luckily managed to get a space outside. No access to external bin facilities.
- Billy (9/5): Superb -
