- Nicole (9/5): Would stay here again! - Great location to access Gold Bluffs, Trillium Falls, Tall Trees Grove, Prairie Creek State Park and so much more! Loved all the on property outdoor games & activities. Woke up to a herd of elk grazing out the front door! The water wasn’t working when we got there. After a couple hours it was back on. Power went out overnight and the water wasn’t working again in the morning.

- Krystoff (10/5): the zen of coastal redwoods - We had stayed there before, about a decade ago when my son must have been about ten, so I had a pretty good idea what to expect; however, Bogart--the host--was exceptionally helpful! We asked for a tea kettle and he immediately provided a brand new one. He also suggested renting rubber boots for the hike in the Fern Canyon; thank god, we listened to him! There is no better location for hiking on the Redwood coast, especially given the unpredictable weather at this time of the year. Wildlife, especially the elk outside of our windows, was definitely a bonus too. Ultra quiet and clean too. A tea pot would have been nice for those that like to bring real tea (not herbal 'tea' bags).

- Dennis (10/5): Awesome place. - The location was perfect. And the time of year was a little cold and rainy, but we had the whole place to our selves. The Elk were very close, a short drive away. But none on the property this tme. We will come back someday. What could have been better? Something to eat close by. The closest town didn't have much. It was run down, the store in town had some food. But not much. You might want to plan ahead if you stay here.
