• Alex (9/5): - Great friendly staff. I met a neighbor Khanh. He's a wonderful, open, and kind person with whom we became friends. I had a great time. The sunsets are incredible. The food is expensive, and the price doesn't match the quality. The ginger chicken turned out to be just bones. They washed my white T-shirts, and they turned out to be covered in dirty brown stripes. Then they washed them again, but the stains are now yellow. Be careful with white clothes when you wash them.

• James (9/5): Unexpected Gem - We booked this as a quick overnight stop Last minute, but it ended up being so much more than just a pit stop. The en suite room was absolutely lovely — spotless, spacious, and really well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom super clean, which is always a big plus. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful — they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. There was a genuine warmth to the service that made a real difference. We honestly would’ve been more than happy to stay an extra day and just relaxing there. All in all, fantastic value for money.

The 2nd floor spiral stair isn’t super convenient, but being elevated is good for light and views. Price was very reasonable.

• Jason (5/5): The first visit was much better than this one. - This was my second time staying at Love Hill (the first time was about 9 months ago), and unfortunately, it wasn't as good. The two biggest disappointments were the hour long propaganda radio broadcast, which starts at 6am daily (and also in the evening). This can be easily heard loudly from within the room, and it woke me up immediately. The second issue was the dinner that was served to me - Ginger Chicken (the sauce was way too salty, the chicken was more bone and gristle than meat, there were no vegetables at all, and the entire dish wasn't very hot) & the Pork Spring Rolls (these would've great had they actually been hot). The man who served me the meal disappeared shortly afterwards, so I couldn't ask him to at least heat it up....or get some paper napkins...or even get a drink (from the fridge that wasn't working (or turned up so high, drinks were room temperature). I must admit the steam rice was perfect! The place is definitely set up for couples, and the "heart" themes are featured throughout their sizeable garden areas (noting that the heart-shaped pool was not operational upon both my visits). A little bit of a hassle is it can be a bit of walk from the parking area and reception, with your luggage if you get one of their bungalow type rooms (located at the far end of the property). Making it worse and even a bit dangerous, if you get one of the upstairs bungalows, as the spiral staircase is very narrow and steep...I found it a big hassle with my bags and my dog (who is too small to climb up by herself). My upstairs bungalow was fairly clean and air-conditioned with a private bathroom. Windows surround the bedroom on three sides (which has good curtains for privacy). • Karl (8/5): Nice place, just a few minor niggles. - Lovely detached little bungalows. Overlooking rice fields. Rooms are clean and the bed comfy.. Undercover parking for scooters. It's a pretty nice place but the staff were stand off ish, and the meal looked nothing like the menu photos.

• Charles (8/5): Good place - I arrived quite late, and asked for dinner when i was making my reservation 2 hours prior to arrival. They prepared me a meal with pork meat, which was absolutely DELICIOUS! Room was very nice, with AC and a smart tv. Everything was as expected. it was good.

• Thommo (9/5): Excellent hotel with wonderful gardens and statues. - Nearly a 5 star rating and would've been had their pool been in operation (advertised on Booking.com "swimming pool"). Looked like it hadn't been maintained....but they were cleaning it while I was there. The location amongst the rice paddies is very scenic, and it's far enough away from the main road to be quiet and peaceful. Though an easy walk to get there. The rooms are very modern and look quite new. My room was not very big, but it was adequate for 2 nights. It was air-conditioned and had a big comfy, soft bed, a flatscreen TV, good WiFi, and a private bathroom (good hot water). The hotel's grounds are well decorated with lots of love heart statues, a windmill, a viewing platform with a stairway to a photo platform (overlooking the rice paddies). There's a fire pit, a small bungalow for relaxing/eating in, koi ponds with a bridge and gardens throughout. It's quite suited for loving couples on a romantic getaway. The reception area is also the dining area, with an upstairs section, but you need to order food in advance. They offer an OK selection of food and beverages too. There is also plenty of parking out the front and an undercover area for scooters/bikes. I really enjoyed my stay and they are pet friendly too. I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in Than Uyen. The pool hadn't been kept clean and when I was there it was in the process of being cleaned.

There is a lot of care out into the aesthetics of the property and there are lots of flowers and photo opportunities. The room was comfortable and perfect for a night of relaxation after a long motorcycle drive. The owner was friendly and cooked all of our meals upon request. The food was simple and delicious. The puppies are adorable and friendly - so hard to say goodbye to! The property is an excellent value for what we paid. We were genuinely impressed with our stay!
• Tom (7/5): Good - Beautiful location. They really made everything look very nice. But the ricefields are the main event of course. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast has big portions and taste good.
