Ma io potrei anche capire un improvvisato che non ha la minima cultura di come condurre un hotel. Ma non comprendo ed è questo il mio sdegno di come Bookin.com possa dare una valutazione "otttimo" a questa struttura traendo in inganno le persone......inconcepibile! Non funziona niente...soldi buttati!

Огромный чистый номер с балконом и боковым видом на море. Персонал дружелюбный и всегда готовый помочь. Для Дахаба было всё идеально.

• Caroline Chadwell (9/5): A peaceful place for rest. - Our stay at the Star of Dahab was fantastic. The highlights were a great view from the room (this was our room, some will not have the same view) and the fact that the little cafe out front on the beach was accessible to us, a rare find in Dahab. We could just go and sit and enjoy the sea, snorkel and drink coffee without having to go to a restaurant. It is on the south end of the boardwalk, so a small walk to get to Lighthouse area, but very quiet and peaceful. It is one street from a more local road with lots of great restaurants that are cheaper than those down in the Lighthouse (or main area) of Dahab. The staff were helpful and accommodating to match our group's needs. Overall, it was a very laid back, relaxing atmosphere that felt safe and welcoming. We will return! The bathrooms are wet rooms (for foreigners who are not used to this concept, it means the whole bathroom becomes wet when you shower as it is not enclosed). It would be helpful to have a squeegee and more hooks for clothes on the walls, but definitely a minor inconvenience in the end.

• Andalus (7/5): Had a good time - The bed is comfortable, the ac works fine, the view from the balcony is beautiful, nice place after all. The food in the cafe of the hotel is very good. Nice staff. It could have been cleaner, the sheets of the bed were old and torn. There was no cleaning service during my 5 days stay.

It has nice, chill vibes, a good location next to the sea and a dive centre, and a lovely restaurant with a great complimentary breakfast

• Khaled (8/5): A place to call home in Dahab - The hotel atmosphere is very homy and the staff are really helpful and do their best to make you feel comfortable. After a while l came to say to my kids "let's go home" instead of typical usage of room. Maybe it is not luxurious but you feel comfortable. The hotel has a diving center and a beachfront restaurant and a rooftop seating area. It lies between the two most lively streets in dahab direct on the beach and the other side on the main commercial street with shops and restaurants. You can find a variety of restaurants close-by. The nearby steak house is nice. You can also walk to the island diving/snorkeling spot which is one of the most pure in dahab. The hotel beach is not good for swimming with stiff rocks and shallow water and then suddenly becomes so deep. The restaurant is nice, but prices are high, although similar to other beachfront restaurants in Dahab. The hotel should offer the guests some discount vouchers to encourage them to use the restaurant. You can sit there without being forced to buy anything as a hotel guest, but it does not feel right.

• Muhamed (10/5): Amazing Stay - This is my the fourth time in this place and for me Dahab = star of Dahab I like everything starting from the easiest check in i have ever seen and the beautiful room with sea view. I'd like to thank mr Gamal and the owner mr Khalid for this great place that i feel like at my home . The restaurant i recommend the food there The housekeeping that always there . Thanks omar, Ali everyone there . I'm really didn't find anything that i didn't like .

No balcony/terrace with the room. nowhere to hang wet clothes (in a diving resort this is important). very little storage/surfaces. no kettle to make drinks. No housekeeping in 4 nights - I would have liked fresh towels and the bin emptied at least once. Bathroom was wet room and no mop or any way to contain the water.
• Mohamed (10/5): A home away from home - We truly enjoyed our stay there . We loved everything especially the people and the services , the staff made us feel like home. It was a genuine care not forced which directly reach your heart. Staff members went above and beyond expectations, especially Andy he was a friend to us more than a host a long with Amy. Ehsan made sure to make us comfortable and help out with room services. Basma and Gamal were very helpful with activities arrangements and suggestions. Nothing I can think of
• Anees (8/5): Good value for money - The location and staff was awesome! They allowed me an early check-in around 10am and allowed me to shower after check out so I wasn’t all sweaty on my bus ride. The room could’ve been a bit cleaner under the bed.

Everything was amazing starting with "Mr Gamal" till the last one in the hotel . The food was delicious thanks Amr andy and you have to try the lunch or diner there. Thanks to omar and everyone . • Tracey (5/5): we stayed 1 night - the property was basic but very clean ideal for a stay over when we arrived I was advised the property did not accept credit card. when I booked with you it was£31 plus £4 tax. I have ended up paying 1550 Egyptian pound . the stay cost me a lot more than I originally thought. would of liked a kettle in the room. no big deal I know but nice to have that option when it had a fridge . the gentleman that checked us in was very rude and un helpful. I did not allow this situation to spoil my stay but annoyed with my payment lesson learned

• Farrell (7/5): Beautiful place by the ocean - I loved the location. It had a wonderful sitting area with a swing where you could sit by the ocean. I think it was the best type of spot of any of the hotels and restaurants around the area. It was close walking to the main part of town and to the blue lagoon for amazing snorkeling. We also loved the breakfast in the morning, you have the choice of an Egyptian style or a continental (fruit and toast) and both were great. The good at the restraint was affordable and good and you couldn’t beat the environment! The bedding on the beds was really sad. Just one sheet and one pillow. They didn’t have top sheets, just blankets. The bedding could definitely have been better but it was clean and comfortable so we were okay.

Not many ppl perfect to relax, sunbath, work , WiFi worked everywhere very well, the room was just amazing view, at night I could open window and hear the sound from the sea! I had a seafront from both windows and the balcony , The breakfast was delicious and the fresh juices and coffee perfect start. The diving school is next to the hotel and gives a spirit of freedom with nice and knowledge staff to talk to.its basic but very clean.hotel gives you alot of freedom, what we r used as Europeans, almost no creepy looks from staff (especially like in big hotels in sharm etc.). If you're looking for a place super peaceful and silent and with a little walk being at all place: star of dahab is perfect! I'll come back and book this hotel again. We stayed 9 nights and I wanted to stay longer!! Thank you for everything we had an amazing time If you have to complain, I really need to find something because everything was amazing. Maybe that the "beach" is windy, not like the beaches at lighthouse and that there is a loud noise coming at 10 am from the diving school, but they turn it off when telling it. You need around 15-20 min walk to the exciting things,if you prefer excitement it might bug you, I prefer silence so for me it was perfect

• Anonymous (10/5): Excellent location of the hotel and sea view. I wish the internet was better. - Excellent location of the hotel - near the center, but a little away. Therefore, it is quiet in the evenings. Also, the hotel has helpful staff - they will help resolve any issue. We had a small but very comfortable room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel had terrible internet. Also in the room there was a very large height difference between the entrance to the room and the room itself. The room was 15 centimeters lower than the entrance to the room ... The height difference should not exceed 2-3 cm, otherwise it can lead to injury and falls.

Adjacent big Blue Dahab diving club made it perfect not only in terms of diving but also on regular basis helping with stuff like transportation etc. The resort is at the south end of the main boardwalk of Dahab which is great for getting to the center , resturants, shops etc. but still you have your piece of mind and you are not in the middle of the crowdy area Wifi was terrible Can be cleaner The picture showed a beach but as it is still on the boardwalk , it does not realy have a private beach you can slide into and swim or so, you need to travel elsewere

• Nicole (4/5): disappointing - seemed well priced but actually you can get much better value for money. the beds and towels were changed daily if you asked the food was bad, the rooms were dirty and run down, staff weren’t hugely helpful. I booked a room that said it came with breakfast and then received an email saying it didn’t.

• Michael (9/5): Highly recommended stay. - The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Rooms were comfortable, with good AC and comfy beds. Breakfast was very good. The hotel's location was in a quiet area without disturbances. The bathrooms were a little hard to keep clean as there was no curtain or squeegee in the room. The location is a walk away from downtown which may not suit everyone.
• Assaf (8/5): great stay, great place, great vacation - very kind and nice staff, helpful, considerate and happy to help. food is good, and prices are more then fair room was large and comfy for 2 adults and two kids, bathroom was functional though looks can be better:) the hotel is at the south end of the boardwalk so need few minutes walk to the action (5 min).
