• Yining (1/5): Unorganised and inconvenient - I had a frustrating experience at this hotel. First, the hotel has changed its name so many times that it was impossible to locate it on Google Maps. When I arrived at the airport, I messaged the hotel for the exact address, but they took ages to reply. I ended up using the map on Booking.com and took a Grab to the location shown there. However, when we arrived, the hotel was nowhere to be seen – the pinpoint on Booking.com was inaccurate. After messaging the hotel again, they finally responded with the correct location, which turned out to be a 20-minute walk from booking.com map’s indicated spot. Walking that distance with luggage on poorly designed roads after a long flight was beyond inconvenient and frustrating. When we finally checked in, the reception staff took an unreasonable amount of time to locate our booking details, even though we booked six months in advance. This level of disorganization was unacceptable and made the check-in process unnecessarily stressful. The room itself was disappointing. It was poorly designed, with a large, see through window overlooking the bathroom from the bedroom, which I found uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. On top of that, the hotel did not look like the pictures online, which was misleading. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, disorganization, and misleading visuals.

• Ruby (1/5): Awful. Disgraceful. Rude. - Absolutely nothing What didn’t I like about the property???? Mmmmm let me think about that… maybe the fact that the gave our room to another group right in front of our eyes, proceeded to blame a booking system error, make us wait for 45mins while they “fixed the issue” only to then tell us that they had booked us a taxi for a completely random location and take our luggage downstairs and load it into a random taxi. I understand that mistakes happen but do not make us wait 45mins, assuring us that we will have a room only to ship us off elsewhere in a foreign city we have no idea about! The staff were rude and useless. They openly whispered about my partner and I to each other with their hands literally covering their lips whilst maintaining dead eye contact with us.
• Meo (8/5): Very good - has an excellent location, just a short walk from major attractions and public transport. The room was clean, well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. However, the hotel does not offer breakfast, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby, so it's easy to find a good meal. One downside was the noise from the street, which was noticeable at night

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed and well taken care of. My Suite room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. It had a separate living area, a kitchen, and a separate bedroom, which made it feel like a home away from home. The room was also spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated. I will definitely return and book this room again the next time I have the chance! Highly recommended. Nothing

• Daisy (10/5): The most enjoyable stay I’ve ever had in a hotel, and I’ve been too many. - It's sad to see that reviews of hotels have become meaningless, companies and hotels write glowing reports of hotels that are just simply, lies. This is the third hotel we stayed at in two weeks in Ho Chi Minh and the first two had great reviews but frankly not worthy of the name of hotel. But this is a hotel apart, the most enjoyable stay I’ve ever had in a hotel, and I’ve been too many. Free breakfast free high tea you hardly need to buy food and the food is excellent. But more than anything else, the staff made it and an amazing experience from the manager, Daniel to the cleaning staff all were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They went out of their way, with every opportunity, to help us enjoy our stay. I’ve never seen so many smiles in a hotel. To top it all it was amazingly inexpensive.

The bathrooms were a decent size and the showers were a pleasure. The beds were comfortable and spacious and functional. Staff was cute and polite to me. Overall, if I ever go back to Ho Chi Minh city, I'd probably stay here again. I'm struggling to think of things wrong with this hotel. The remote was somewhat unresponsive at times. The breakfast could've done with more options.

• Jonathan (2/5): Good location but not great value for money. Consider other stays. - Location of the hotel was great and the receptionist was attentive. Able to communicate well and resolve issues when they arise. The "standard" room that is supposedly 12 square metres, however the room that we were provided was no where near this size. We were offered a room upgrade (at a cost) but this came at a steep price (double what we originally paid). Building facilities are quite old and run down. Air condition unit in our room was faulty and continuously made loud mechanical sounds and leaked water. Bathroom could be cleaner and/or have a better lay out as the shower, toilet and sink are all colocated and no barriers to close off the shower facilities.

• Hồ (10/5): Worth of money - The location was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the gentleman at reception,i don’t really remember the name but when we arrived, was very helpful, friendly and assisted us in finding a solution for us when we had to check out late. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and the staff. The room is equipped with modern equipment, clean and airy. nothing but if I want to stay in here, I have to make a reservation as soon as I can. They’re usually Sold out
• Dominik (3/5): Overall bad experience, room not clean, booking got canceled, good location of the hotel - Location of the hotel was good. Room is not clean, does not look like the one on the pictures (a lot smaller and not as pretty) and the wall is coming down on some parts. You have to pay a deposit and they want to charge you in case of dirty towels and bed sheets (shouldn’t it be for usage?! and they were already dirty!!). In addition we had ants in the room, no hot water, construction noises in the morning (very loud drilling) and during the first night they cancelled our stay in booking.com.

• Flynn (10/5): Great experience! - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the doorman and front desk staff to the egg chef at breakfast. There was a nice big window seating area that allowed for a lot of natural light. The location was wonderful, right next to the large Reunification Park which was great for morning walks and seeing some of the community events. Several attractions are nearby as well. They will help you arrange rides if necessary and have a locked luggage storage room, which was very convenient.
• Robert (10/5): Will definitely recommend to friends - We received an upgrade to our room booking which was a lovely surprise. We first arrived at the hotel for one night and added two nights. We wanted our upgraded Junior Suite at the check-in and would have paid the extra fee but this was unfortunately not possible which meant we had to change rooms the following day. It would have been better, we would have been given our upgraded room and we would have paid an additional fee (difference between Intrepid price and Booking.com price).When we changed rooms we received a better upgrade which made up for the inconvenience of changing rooms! Good laundry service. Need one more concierge counter to specialize in tour consulting.
• Ben (10/5): Great value for money and am surely coming back! - Stayed in the hotel for one night. The staff at the reception were friendly and very helpful. The room was nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had brand new towels. There were toiletries, too. The location is very central, close to bars and local attractions. Overall, the street was busy but the windows were soundproof so there was no annoying noise from outside. Highly recommended for the price I paid The AC needs some maintenance, it took it a while to start blowing cold-ish air.

All you can eat breakfast included and 70m from a nice park where you can walk some of it off. Not bad eateries around and much quieter than district 1, yet only 50,000 dong away in a grab (2.5km). Rooms big enough and clean and full glass alcove for your morning coffee. Loved the adjustable LED bed reading lights.
