• Ilya (4/5): unless you are desperate for the sea view consider something else - view is nice. breakfast was decent. nature lovers may like its jungle location and plenty of flora and fauna around. few people on the beach which so it is a good place to escape crowds pictures are generally misleading. these are very basic poor quality rooms. mold all over the place covered by paint but you can very well smell it. if you are allergic beware. even some things which could be fixed easily not fixed such as clogged shower head and water pressure. poor quality accommodation and poor value for money. you can rent a decent villa for that price. walk to the beach is mountain trail with considerable elevation.

• Kirsten (7/5): Fantastischer Blick! - Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Staff freundlich. Frühstück sehr gut. Der Strand ist gigantisch. Der Weg zum Strand ist anstrengend (20 Minuten steiler Fußweg. Allerdings im Wald, also angenehm schattig. Lärm der Tiere am frühen Morgen - Ohrstöpsel nicht vergessen! Keine Restaurants fußläufig (nur ein Imbiss, der Frühabend geschlossen hatte), aber mit dem Roller ist man schnell im Ort.

Prawdziwy Domek Na Drzewie! 🌳😍❤️ Cudownie było mieć tyle przestrzeni tylko dla siebie.❤️ Bardzo ładnie urządzony salon. Pokój wyglądał dokładnie tak samo jak na zdjęciach. Super wygodne łóżko i mięciutka pościel. So cosy! Uwielbialiśmy spędzać tam wieczory, leżąc sobie razem i oglądając nasze seriale. Widok z okien zapierający dech w piersiach! 😍🌊Bardzo dobre śniadania przynoszone nam specjalnie do drzwi na tacy 😍.Możliwość zjedzenia śniadania zarówno w środku jak i na zewnątrz. Prywatny balkon i taras. Śliczna łazienka w balijskim stylu. Bardzo ładnie pachnące żel, szampon i odżywka do włosów. Suszarka na wyposażeniu. Woda, kawa, herbata oraz coca-cola i sprite w lodówce za darmo dla gości. Bardzo miło zaskoczona byłam świeżymi, ciętymi kwiatami w wazonie na stole 😍💐, które przepięknie pachniały cały pobyt. Jestem ogromną fanką kwiatów, więc żywy, zielony kwiat w donicy również skradł me serce. Obsługa przemiła i sympatyczna. 😍 Zejście w dół schodami na jedną z najbardziej urokliwych plaż, na których byłam - niesamowite! Uwielbiam takie dzikie, odizolowane miejsca. Szum fal, który Cię uspokaja do snu. Małpy, które przychodzą rano tylko po to, by Cię obudzić hałasując na balkonie a potem znikają na cały dzień. 😍😄🤭 I totally love it! Idealne miejsce dla miłośników natury i osób ceniących sobie prywatność. Jeśli jesteś damą, która zazwyczaj śpi w Sheratonach i Hiltonach a na widok małej jaszczurki czy przez powrót z plaży po schodach(który jest świetnym workoutem!🤩) zatrzyma Ci się serce - to lepiej odpuść sobie. Natomiast jeśli chcesz się poczuć jak dziewczyna Tarzana i żyć z nim w domku na drzewie - to zdecydowanie coś dla Ciebie! 😍 My spędziliśmy tu piękny czas. Przedłużyliśmy nawet pobyt o 1 noc i dostaliśmy bardzo dobrą cenę. W dniu wyjazdu pozwolono nam nawet zostawić walizki na cały dzień w domku i skorzystać po południu z prysznica po plaży. Jedynym minusem było słabe ciśnienie pod prysznicem - ale woda była ciepła i otulająca ciało. Super było stać na tych czarnych balijskich kamieniach a zamiast ścian z betonu mieć dookoła siebie prawdziwe bambusy. 🤩

• tinok (10/5): Secluded and calm, and a beach that felt almost private - Everything. Most tourists coming to Bali, don't realise how the island really looks like. If you want to be among crowds, street vendors, disorganization, noise and ugly infrastructure, then you should choose Kuta Beach and similars. Fortunately for us, we thoroughly looked up all possible beach destinations and we consider ourselves lucky for picking up Ulawutu and specially Nunggalan Octopus. We find some bad reviews unfair, based on lazyness (yes, there is a 10 minute path to the beach, that in the way up may be a little hard, since the house is in the edge of a cliff. Monkeys, geckos and other nature dwellers are expected to be found because the property is located in a natural area. Room and bed are incredibly large. Breakfast is delivered to the room. But the fact that you are in a secluded place, almost secret and unnoticeable, is the greatest plus. One, ONLY thing that l didn't like was immedaitely and effectively addressed by the staff

The first day was nice and quiet and sense of being in nature with mostly the locals and the monkeys Beach access not suitable for older or those with weak knees. Very steep, rocky and slippery. The beach was covered with rubbish and the sea too dangerous to swim. Beware, there is a wedding venue just above at the back and on our second day, stomping music all afternoon and evening and suddenly our room was bombarded by fireworks landing on roof and around our room. We got such a fright, it ruined our second day and ee decided to check out that night to avoid the noise. Very disappointing

Very private, no one next to the room, protected from the public stairs to go downhill by a door. No noise except the ocean. Spacious balcony to enjoy the view and take breakfast with two sunbeds. Very confortable bed. Beautiful bathroom. Very reactive host and very helpful staff, always looking to accomodate their guests as much as they can. Possibility to order food and ask for a professional masseuse to come. Nothing to say

We were met by friendly staff and just taken down the steep stairs to our room. There was really no other area to relax in eg Lobby pool etc.

PS: There will be monkeys 🐵 The location of this property is pretty hard to find and the walk from the parking lot to the villa is not easy, especially for old people. But the staff there are very helpful and always ready to help.
• Byleika (10/5): Already missing the view and the monkeys! - This place is absolutely amazing!! I would like to emphasize that you should not expect this place to be in tiptop shape as it is a little outdated as most places are in Bali, but this place got everything that you need plus the view and the monkeys were our highlight! We even extended our stay as we enjoyed this place so much. The stay is at a top of a hill and there are only 2 houses. If you got a little stamina you can visit the beach down under (make sure you bring a drink), Its like having your private beach ( its the beach with the shipwreck) this beach is super layed back, just a couple of surfers sometimes which we really enjoyed watching. The staff at Nunggalan Octopus are super friendly, easy to contact as they respond fast and they make sure you are comfortable during your stay.. I can't wait to get back to this place, Terima kasih to you all and good luck with building the new Warung we can't wait to visit 🙏 Nothing

• Nicholas (1/5): Worst place we ever booked to the point that we didn’t stay more than 30 minutes and the host still refused to refund us - ZERO!! The entire place was full of mold, the management was the rudest and dishonest I have ever dealt with in all of my travels, the place was disgusting, the floor was falling through and the property will certainly fall down the 500 foot plus cliff in due time. We didn’t make it 30 minutes before leaving and yet the property threatened us and charged us for the entire visit like the selfish horrible owners they are. I would never recommend or even consider staying at this property or another owned by this person/company. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Everything!!! We can start with the mold, the rats, the floor that is caving in, the steep stair to the property that someone got very hurt on as we were arriving, the distance from anything, the horrible road to the property, the rock hard bed, the staff that told us that they hope we learn a lesson by booking their property and showing up and not staying, the lack of WiFi…should I keep going!? This place should not be available to rent! I wish we took more pictures of the stairs, the holes/caved in floor, the mold that was painted over and that you could smell the bleach that was used to try and cover up the mold. When we brought the unlivable conditions up to management their reply was "You cannot expect luxury from us and that what do we expect since their structures are made of wood." The management then proceeded to threaten us and say that "they hope we learn a lesson by booking with them" since we arrived, saw the mold filled room and instantly knew that the pictures they posted were not accurate, the description was a lie, and that most of the other reviews are fake. We also have videos of the property in addition to the photos below to back this up should anyone want to see them. Take this place off of Booking! Nobody should be allowed to stay here!
• Elenweb (4/5): Go for the view. But don't expect much else - View Communication poor. Staff are at the restaurant next door and they seemed surprised to see us. Our booking said early check in and late checkout but staff and owner did not appear to know this. Staff came to kick us out/clean when we were not ready. Staff at restaurant said they would be there till 6pm but left at 5.25 Nothing in area so we could not have dinner. Then blackout so no power.. no internet..no way to call a grab/gojek. Stuck in dark until 11.30 pm but all properties around have power.? Again no Communication about breakfast. No one at restaurant so I had to message owner to ask. Just all round poor service/ Communication.

• Luigi (9/5): Superb - The view is absolutely breathtaking dominating the beach below. The location is quite isolated so if you like privacy this is a good choice. Great experience having a 15 minute walk down to the beach and being the only ones there. If you like being surrounded by nature and enjoying a unique panorama this place is a must. If you are scared or not familiar being around monkeys consider this is their home, they will visit you during the day.

• Will (8/5): Great place to spend quality relaxing time with a loved one. - The view of the ocean and beach was amazing. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was very soothing. Very minimalistic room; no hooks to hang wet towels, no counter space in the bathroom, no wall decorations, etc. Great breakfast and the guys managing the site were super responsive and respectful. A little off the beaten path. The steps from the parking lot to the cabin were a bit sketchy. Wouldn’t want to do those in the rain.

Would be good to have a lock on the entry gate to the property to stop people gaining access to use toilet etc. A copuple of comfortable chairs on the verandah to relax in and take in the spectacular view.

• Galiya (10/5): It was totally worth it! - It was the best ocean view in my life. Property was perfectly clean and hotel stuff is amazing. Breakfast was a bit overpriced, but omelette was one of the best in my life as well :) Because of this breathtaking view and being really close to nature - you will meet a lot of insects. After rainy season there were a lot of rain worms, termites and black harmless centipedes right at the property. Hotel stuff was working all the time getting rid of them, but it is impossible to do it fully. So I got used to living with them. They are not able to get to the sofa or to the bed. Guys were cleaning the room every day and helped me with everything I needed, thanks a lot to them.
• Szymon (7/5): Overall very good - if you like beautiful views of the ocean it will be perfect for you. - Clean and nice room, an AMAZING, sunny, and beautiful view of the ocean. Good breakfast included. The staff was very nice and helpful, also it is possible to rent a good scooter. I recommend staying here for short holidays There were many, many black caterpillars at the location outside. It's not the staff's fault - they were cleaning them every day. It's not a big deal for me but I am just warning you - maybe some people don't like it or are afraid of it. Breakfast was a little bit small, but it was included (or for free) so don't take it personally. I am glad that was served everyday:)

• Rita (10/5): Exceptional - The beautiful VIEW! this is the nicest accommodation I had on my 3 week trip in Bali. Not only from the bedroom but also from the bathroom (+ Hot water) you have this stunning view of the blue ocean and the trees. The little fridge is an asset in this hot climate and there's space to hang your clothes. I could watch the stars at night because there's no light pollution over there. I didn't meet the manager but Madé took good care of me, he was always friendly and helpful. I can warmly recommend this place to everyone, unless you have a mobility problem because it is hard to reach and going down to the beach really takes some effort! A hidden gem comes with a price... The uneven stairs it takes to reach the hut and the path (I mean the stairs) to the beach. For an old lady like me it was a bit much but young people can do it in 20 min. I would have liked a bedside table, for the rest no complaints! Don't leave any food unattend ed on the terrace: the little monkeys come and steal it in no time but they're not dangerous and fun to watch.
