• Ava (10/5): Loved these villas! - such a beautiful property, I felt like royalty A little dark in the rooms, make it hard to pack even with good eyesight. Not many places to plug in devices, so you need to unplug limited lighting.

Perfect place to de-stress - Located in a quiet village away from the normal tourist hubs, it is staffed by the friendliest and happiest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. The Villa is well equipped and private, breakfast was always fresh and plenty of it. Pool is clean and lovely after a day of activities. Leaving in all honesty, there is nothing not to love about this villa.

The staff were very welcoming Not much, it was about 15 mins from Ubud centre but we knew this when we booked. It was easy to hire a scooter and get around by ourselves.

If wanting to explore you will need a scooter or driver. It's not close to Ubub centre but only a short ride away. Highly recommend. Lighting. My husband struggled because the lighting is not very bright and I struggled applying make-up in the dim light.

If you had any questions or requests, the reception was easy to contact through WhatsApp. Agus and young Agus (our hosts) made sure we were settled and made our stay more enjoyable! :)

Breakfast was good, I did only try the pancakes though! Breakfast took a bit to be served, over 1hr first day. Costs abit to get into the centre for food or activities and no one likes to deliver food up that way. But there is a nice restaurant down the road as you walk out the villa to your left about 500m really good food

Estás rodeado de naturaleza y plantas, lo que hace que la estancia sea especialmente agradable. El aire acondicionado funciona perfectamente y mantiene la villa fresca incluso en las horas de más calor. La piscina es grande, bonita y perfecta para relajarse. La atención del personal es muy buena: amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Una experiencia muy completa y con una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Kleine Details wie ein eigener Kimono, Schlappen für drinnen und draußen oder ein Vanity Kit machten den Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich. Die Kommunikation war super schnell, unkompliziert und flexibel. Die Massagen konnte man vom Hotel aus buchen und sie waren unter anderem die besten, die wir auf Bali hatten. Wir können Ulon Ubud nur weiterempfehlen und hoffen, dass wir wiederkommen werden!

• Silvia (10/5): - Amazing staff, always kind and available to meet our needs. The villa is simply wonderful and the private pool is worth the price. We asked the reception for the scooter rental, cheap and easiest way to move around Ubud, if you are familiar with driving scooters in traffic. They also have a pickup service from the airport at a very convenient price. 100% recommended, everything was perfect!

• Jana (7/5): Schön, wenn man Privatsphäre möchte aber leider sehr weit weg vom Geschehen - Man hat sehr viel Privatsphäre, aufgrund der eigenen Villa inkl. Pool. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist leider sehr weit außerhalb, man benötigt immer ein Shuttle um nach Ubud zu kommen (Shuttle wird vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt) und das dauert teilweise 45min für eigentlich nur 7km aufgrund des abartigen Verkehrs in Ubud. Leider gibt es fußläufig kaum Restaurants. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es teilweise sehr laut, da Vollmond war und mehrere Zeremonien in Hörweite stattgefunden haben. Außerdem wird eine neue Villa gebaut, das konnten wir aufgrund der Hellhörigkeit der Villa auch hören.

They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, they were extremely friendly and helpful!! Our villa was beautiful, like a little paradise! It is a bit far away from Ubud center so we always needed a shuttle that the hotel provides! All together it was a wonderful experience, highly recommended! Thank you! -

• Roberta (8/5): Can be much improved - The private villa is beautiful, sourronded by plants in a very quite area. The service via whatsapp it’s great and is nice they bring you breakfast (which is average good) in the villa. Location is 10’ far with scooter from main area, which can be either a good or bad thing depending by you (Ubud is super cahotic) You can’t take a good hot shower and in Ubud is raining a lot. It’s too hot and last 10/20 seconds. I guess they are aware but keep saying they have to change the gas which they did and didn’t change anything. The service is not so attentive, as we missed toilet paper for example. You need to basically tell them everything. Overall was okay if you want to experience to have your own villa, but I won’t come back.

• Miranda (8/5): Original location in an authentic neighbourhood - Quiet, original location off the beaten tracks, it more than compensates the distance from the centre. Good service, although the choice and variety of breakfast ought to be improved. Not always easy to communicate by phone, as everything goes through the booking dpt. that has to contact the reception.

It was really nice to see each member of staff throughout the day and evening. It’s not that I didn’t like something about the property, however the location is very far out. Taxis are needed to get to pretty much most places however we came here at the start of our honeymoon and loved the peace and quiet.

• Vladyslava (9/5): Beautiful and secluded stay - Beautiful villa in a secluded and quiet area. Exactly like on photos. Nice and polite service. A bit far away from the Ubud centre, you can’t walk anywhere—only by taxi. Not enough sockets to charge devices. But those are minor things.

We booked the villa for our honeymoon and our decision was just perfect. During our stay, we celebrated my birthday and without any request the staff gave me a delicious cake and all of them sang happy B-Day to me, making my day more special. We could not be happier, the villa is amazing, we will come back for sure. Everything was just perfect.

Having air conditioner was helpful. Yummy breakfast. Minimal bugs in the villa despite being in rice terraces. A little hard to locate at first since there was no sign on the main road, but staff was easy to talk to despite us checking in late at night to help us find the villa.
• Fiona (9/5): If privacy and space is what you are looking for then Ulon Ubud is a great choice - The vila was big and roomy, with the kitchen located outside on the verandah. Situated in a very quiet location on the outskirts of the city but because the traffic is now so dreadful in Ubud it can take anywhere from 20-40 minutes to get back into city centre by motorbike, so be prepared for lengthy delays. Very authentic Balanese style vila with a lovely private pool. Staff were very friendly and attentive, we had issues with internet and the air conditioner during our stay and they really tried to fix both, but had limited success. Loved the drinking water filtration system provided, which served up both hot, cold or chilled water. Most other properties only offer up 2 free bottles of water per day. The room was very dimly lit, more lighting is required in both bedroom and bathroom areas. Considering the enormous size of the bathroom, there was only 1 small towell rack. An extra 1 or 2 would be a welcome addition. Not any restaurants options nearby (there is one hotel down the road with a restarant attached that we tried but it was truly awful and we would not recommend) so you need to travel by taxi or motorbike to dine out at night. Not enough power points in the room either.
