Guest Reviews
- Jaskaran (10/5): -
- Farhad (9/5): Amazing stay - The property is located on a beautiful place with mountains and trees all around. The food was great at the stay and the staff were very friendly. Would love to go there again. The roads leading to the property is very bad and takes up a lot of time in travel.
- bikranta (10/5): - Everything

- Anurag (7/5): Didn’t live up to the Zostel standards and expectations - I liked the dormitory the best, the cleanliness was great! The bathroom was nice and cleaned properly. The food was also comparatively good in terms of quantity for the amount of money we paid. Rest of the things except the dorm, I didn’t like much. The common area was not well maintained, the games were incomplete and the vibe was mostly dead. There was carpentry work going on so it was noisy many times. The first floor common area was also not maintained properly, the carpet was wet due to a leak from the water dispenser. There were no Zostel initiatives/activities, for which Zostels are usually known for
- Gaurav (5/5): - The dorm was clean and property location is good No proper cafe management, no hot drinking water, no games/play areas. It needs to be properly maintained, not upto the mark as expected from a zostel.
- Hariom (1/5): Very okayish - Nothing The staff is very Rude and arrogant they will make your experience worst so i 'd suggest to not to Stay at their property for real
- Neha (1/5): Host was very uncooperative and inconsiderate - The host was problematic. After reservation we got confirmation on booking.com chat portal and was getting communications on mail from zostel as well but he reached out to us through a random number telling us to pay the reservation fee after sending a photo of the QR on WhatsApp, before this we had no interaction with him,
He was very unprofessional and very uncooperative after we denied payment until he sends us a communication through booking.com portal or let us pay after arrival as mentioned on policies.
He didn't even update us and cancelled our reservation, when we reached the property we were left stranded at night.
- Pragya (10/5): Shoja zostel has my heart now! - Location, staff, food, people. Everything was perfect, I had an amazing time there, went there for one day, ended up staying 3 days, will definitely visit again. There is nothing which you won’t love there.
- Deepak (1/5): No recommendation. You can find other better options. - Staff behaviour very rude. No person for food order, breakfast also received after 1-2 hour, wasted our valuable time. No support from the property for carrying luggage.
- Sonkusare (10/5): An unforgettable memory - It’s a vibe you can’t miss. You’ll find people you’ll connect for life.

- Shivani (10/5): It was pretty amazing!!! - The location is awesome and the staff and really warm, welcoming and friendly!!! They curate treks, events and visits on a daily basis and it is super fun. The sky was super clear and full of stars! The food was a little expensive but tasted really good

- Aditya (9/5): Awesome stay, great ambience, out of the world view! - The views are just too fantastic, the isolation of the property is one of the biggest perks, not to mention the elevation. The ambience is just awesome, and it's all just perfect for travellers. Kapil at the reception was of awesome help, if you have any queries, he's the man! I wish food could be served straight to the room, but I get why that wasn't an option. Also the cafe has off timings, so just confirm that before making any plans. The one last thing I didn't like was that I didn't book for a few more days haha, loved it all a lot!

Even for Solo travelling females, its a safe space. A must visit for everyone looking for a good time. Literally nothing. Just that food timing can be extended.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I forgot my bag at the hostel and reached Jibhi, the hostel manager Krishna made sure that he sent my bag without me facing any inconveniences. Even in near by areas there are many local food places which you can explore. A must recommended stay if you are planning your stay in shoja :)

- Tonmoy (9/5): Hill top cozy hostel - The location is amazing. It faces a pine covered mountain and is nearby to key sight seeing places like Jalori pass and Shoja waterfall. The place is mostly filled with people and you will find many to chat or play games with. Wish the rooms had heaters or heated beds. The place was very cold and a room heater would have greatly helped.

- Partha (8/5): zostel shoja - location, hospitality, service, cleanliness, maintenance, activities always playing loud music!! very disturbing. people visit the mountains to experience the natural sounds and silence, not for party! loud music negatively impacts the surrounding as well. please stop playing loud music. You can play soothing tunes, but not party songs that to always!
- Avi- (8/5): Perfect Location and helpful staff - The location of the hostel is amazing, and the views are really good. We were four friends, and we booked a 4-bed dormitory. The beds were really comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. What we did not like was the issue with the washrooms. Only one washroom was available for two dormitories, which means one washroom for 8 people. Because of this, we kept on waiting for our turn. Also, the food prices are a bit higher, and the quantity is really less.
- Suyash (10/5): loved it! - fun stay, they have all the amenities, hot shower always available, Gunda is super helpful!
- Niosi (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful property amazing location, amazing food, hosts were helpful ,i made good mountain family highly recommended cleanliness and location

- Saurabh (10/5): Exceptional - Zostel Shoja is a fantastic retreat in the heart of Himachal’s mountains. The cozy rooms, friendly staff, and stunning views make it an ideal spot to unwind. The common area is perfect for meeting fellow travelers, to witness beautiful sunset, and the on-site café serves tasty food. Place is pet friendly, and if you’re going there, say my Hi to Shakti. It’s also a great base for treks like Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of adventure, this is the place to be!
- Rakesh (9/5): Superb - Location and cleanliness were big plus points. Food was amazing too Power backup wasn’t adequate
