- judi (10/5): A blissful multi generational holiday break in a beautiful area . - The cottage is beautifully appointed and certainly met all the needs of our family including a lively toddler and dog ! Having an enclosed garden as well allowed us to relax and enjoy the cottage . Being able to have our meals ( exceptional) from the pub brought to the cottage was the icing on the cake . Crystal and her team are amazing , so helpful nothing was too much trouble . We can’t wait to return .
- Stuart (9/5): This was an excellent choice as a base to go for walks and explore the Suffolk coast. - Very cosy and well equipped cottage. Easy access with nice pub right next door. Nothing bad to report!

- Diana (9/5): We had a lovely time in this well appointed very cosyvittage. - Very pretty and plenty of room situated where we needed it for the Wilderness Reserve.
All mod cons 👍 Shower was a bit difficult to get into but we managed!
- Trendall (10/5): - Cute cottage with comfy beds and a lovely little garden
- Lesley (9/5): We all had a great weekend with no problems. My late ‘70th’ birthday celebrations were utterly brilliant 🤩 despite being - It was a lovely cottage & well equipped.
Good parking & easy to find.
Lovely bedrooms too.
Very enjoyable stay 😊 There were several trip hazards as it’s an old building. Steps in & out of rooms perhaps need a notice to advise?
The stairs were very narrow which presented a challenge & really need a solid stair gate at the top to prevent accidents.
- Clare (8/5): Very good - Clean, stylish, next to the pub, comfy beds Stairs are a bit tricky but fine if you are careful
- Samantha (10/5): As a family of 4 it was lovely for a couple of nights. The cottage was welcoming and clean, the pub next door served the - The location was perfect, lovely size and all as described.
The owners left us a detailed welcome pack and a nice bottle of Prosecco awaited us on arrival. There was parking outside the property and the fox inn pub next door was amazing! Also lots of handy bits left like shampoo conditioner and handy condiments in the kitchen. The only thing I would say is the temperature of the shower was so hot, nobody could seem to get it cooler. Not sure if that is a consistent situation or a current problem. Otherwise I have no negatives.
- Philip (9/5): Superb - Really enjoyed our stay. Crstal was very welcoming and helpful. Cottage had a lovely warm and quaint feel about it, just what we was after. And the location is perfect for exploring the area. Will definitely be back
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clive (10/5): Overall will defiantly be going back next time I'm visiting the area. - Perfect location with a wonderful pub next door. cottage included private parking, log burner and a very nicely present accommodation.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Super cosy and everything you could ask for to make the stay feel like home!
- Carol (9/5): A very helpful and understanding landlady, who made the trip worthwhile. - Breakfast not included, as it was a whole house rental. The stairs were steep and narrow, with the only toilet in the bathroom upstairs. I found the stairs difficult to manage. However, Crystal was very helpful and moved us to a ground floor studio flat, which was also nearby.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seth (10/5): Perfect. - Lovely, cosy cottage, next to a lovely pub, in a tiny village but near the A12 for other adventures.
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Jezebel (9/5): Sweet cottage with excellent hosts. - It was a great location and well kitted out for the size. The hosts were amazing!!! Due to its cottage nature, there isn’t a huge amount of wardrobe space if you were staying more than a few days.
- Anna (10/5): Amazing little cottage and perfect hosts, I would definitely visit again and recommend to others. - The cottage was beautiful and Crystal was so friendly and helpful. There was everything we needed and it was perfect for our short stay to visit Southwold. The pub next door is a real added bonus. Lots of spiders 🕷️
- Rylie (10/5): Perfect cozy getaway🩷 - It was such a cozy stay, so many things provided! Folder with so much information inside was super helpful, and the pub next door is amazing!! Couldn’t fault it! The only thing which would have made it just that little more cozy would be some blankets for the sofa area ☺️ but it was still warm and lovely nonetheless.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Cosy suffolk cottage within easy reach of great beaches - A picture-perfect pink suffolk cottage, very clean and fresh. We loved the character, Wooden beams and stone floor.
The pub next door served Fantastic food, we ate there in the evening. The village is quiet and it was an easy drive to walberswick, Southwold, and Aldeburgh beaches. We are a family of 4 and have never stayed in a cottage before, our children kept saying it was the cosiest place they have ever stayed. Crystal was very knowledgeable of the local area and helped us plan our stay. It was a short visit but we will come back for longer next time
- Louise (10/5): We enjoyed exploring lots of villages and beaches near by. We particularly liked Thorpness and Dunwich beach. We also ha - The property was gorgeous! Beautiful interior, with original beams. The cottage had lots of character, a nice enclosed garden. The beds were very comfortable. We are a family of 5, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We ate at the pub next door for 3 nights, the food and staff were exceptional.
Thank you We had no complaints.
