• Cathie (10/5): A perfect stay in a very special town - what a find this was. It is a fabulous apartment with everything you need including a washing machine . The apartment is large and well appointed and right outside the wall. Elisa is a wonderful host who gave great directions to the apartment and met us to hand over the keys and show us around. She has a parking space for the car which was a real bonus. the car park was only a 5 minute walk. you walk out the door to a wonderful little garden with bursts of colour. You are a two minute walk from the town. We visited two wineries that were only a 15 minute drive. both great experiences. the country side is filled with vineyards . On our last night we ate at Dorando which is a one minute walk away we had a fantastic meal. We loved this place and would love to come back. nothing

• Andreas (9/5): Wunderbare Zeit in einer wunderschönen Stadt - Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre perfekte Lage in einem ruhigen Bereich am Rande der Hauptfußgängerzone – zentral und dennoch angenehm abgeschieden. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, aber funktional und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Fenster, die einen traumhaften Blick über die toskanische Landschaft ermöglichen. Die Wohnung befindet sich im ersten Stock eines historischen Gebäudes. Vom Flur aus gelangt man ins Badezimmer, ins Wohnzimmer sowie über eine Treppe in die gut ausgestattete Küche. Das Wohnzimmer führt ebenfalls über eine Treppe in das charmante Schlafzimmer mit herrlichem Ausblick auf die Umgebung. Ein kleiner Balkon, ebenfalls vom Wohnzimmer aus zugänglich, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Wohnung vermittelt das Gefühl, Teil der Stadt zu sein – nicht nur als Besucher, sondern als jemand, der für eine Zeit in San Gimignano lebt. Dieses besondere Gefühl wird durch die herzliche und professionelle Betreuung der Gastgeberin Elisa noch verstärkt. Sie sorgt mit viel Liebe zum Detail dafür, dass alles Wichtige vorhanden ist – etwa in der Küche –, sodass der Urlaub direkt nach der Ankunft beginnen kann. Besonders hilfreich ist auch, dass Elisa es ermöglicht, mit dem Auto legal in die Altstadt zu fahren, um das Gepäck bequem an der Unterkunft abzuladen. Für das Parken gibt sie wertvolle Tipps, sei es auf kostenpflichtigen Plätzen außerhalb der Stadtmauer oder auf alternativen, empfohlenen Stellflächen. Elisa ist eine wunderbare Botschafterin und Repräsentantin ihrer Stadt. Ihre Leidenschaft für San Gimignano und ihr Engagement für ihre Gäste machen den Aufenthalt zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis. Wir bedanken uns herzlich für die wunderbare Zeit und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es gibt keinerlei negative Kritik – unser Aufenthalt war rundum angenehm. Dennoch möchten wir zwei Hinweise geben, die für andere Gäste hilfreich sein könnten: Matratze im Hauptschlafzimmer: Diese ist recht fest, was uns persönlich nicht gestört hat – zumal dies in vielen italienischen Unterkünften üblich ist. Gäste mit Rückenproblemen oder einem sensiblen Schlafkomfort sollten dies jedoch berücksichtigen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: Der nächste größere Supermarkt ist fußläufig etwas weiter entfernt und für einen Großeinkauf nicht ideal erreichbar. Unsere Empfehlung: Wer für mehrere Tage bleibt, sollte bereits vor der Anreise einkaufen und die Lebensmittel bequem mit dem Auto zur Unterkunft bringen.
