Guest Reviews
- Josh (10/5): Comfortable and relaxed. - This is an excellent property, clean and comfortable inside. It is well equipped. There is plenty of space outside, with a good amount of seating.
We had use of the pool, which is well maintained and a nice temperature. There was a volleyball net, with a number of balls and floats for use.
The owners were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The property is in a nice area, with a pub close by with good food. It’s also a short walk to the Thames, where you can then walk to Marlow or Bourne End (there was an ice cream van a short walk towards Bourne End).
I would definitely recommend this property.
- Nicky (9/5): - Beautiful peaceful spot, large outdoor spaces with wild rabbits so cute and seating under a willow tree
Everything in top condition, clean and attractive, No real negatives at all!
The pool advertised was not available before June which I was unaware but hey ho. Host came to greet us so nice touch. Possibly a few more condiments / provisions so for a weekend stay shopping does not become essential. More pillows in single bed rooms maybe and a wall mirror
- ALICE (9/5): - Absolutely beautiful location, cosy and clean cottage, great for spending time with family. High chair and cot were provided and the garden was ideal for little ones (I.e. Securely fenced off!) Great walks straight from the front door and lovely pubs a short walk away. We were disappointed that the pool was not available to use, despite it being a hot May Bank Holiday weekend. Feel this could have been communicated more clearly in the property description.

- Sophie (10/5): Perfect - Quiet location, pub within walking distance. Lovely outdoor heated pool. Beautifully thought out. Home from home. So much thought to detail. Hosts couldn’t do enough even bought a jug of milk over on arriving. Didn’t want to leave. Will be visiting again ❤️ Nothing

- Katherine (8/5): - Beautiful garden in lovely surroundings. You can take nice walks from thr house Quite difficult to find
- Lena (8/5): Very good - Beautiful setting as stated on the description in a quiet country road. The property is well kept with all the facilities expected . Great customer care from our hosts .
- Adele (10/5): We have just had a 2 night stay in this beautiful quirky cottage as we were at a wedding at hedsor house! The place is a - Fantastic quiet place! So peaceful and the cottage was beautiful Couldn’t complain about anything
- Samantha (9/5): Peaceful in pretty cottage and great amenities - Great location, the hosts were friendly and terrific walks The space and location
- Kate (8/5): Wonderful place - The hosts were absolutely lovely, the pool was amazing, the cottage was spotless, and the garden was spectacular, full of wild rabbits. The bbq was small but did the job. Very private, with lots of trees, which make you feel as though you're in a woodland glade. Lovely place! I was a bit surprised by the £40 per day charge for the pool, I did think that the use of the pool was included in the price, I found the beds uncomfortable, but I think that's just a personal preference, as half our party loved the beds, and half of us did not. I should point out that all the mattresses are pristine and have memory foam toppers.
