Guest Reviews
- Cole (9/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Plenty of communiction from hosts, place was amazong will deffo be back - Amazing place, very clean and good prive N/A
- Susanne (10/5): - Perfect place for our stay. Had everything we needed. Definitely use again when visiting. Nothing
- Shane (10/5): Stunning property, cozy and comfortable. - Beautiful property, so well appointed and looked after. So much better than staying in a sterile chain hotel that would cost around the same price. Small bath tub, and slightly weak shower. But whilst working with the space they have, it’s great.
- Magor (10/5): Excellent central location including parking space, clean and well equipped property. Nice hosts! - Extremely helpful and responsive hosts, excellent central location including a parking space, very clean and well equipped property. There was nothing we didn't like
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - The area
- Claire (9/5): Perfect for a short stop off in Cardiff enroute to Pembrokeshire. - Loved the quirkiness of this apartment. It was very cosy and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The communication from the owners was great and check in using the lock box was very straightforward and hassle free. Good parking behind gates was another bonus.
- Kenny (9/5): Excellent - Clean and warm. It had everything we needed and great visitor information given. Close to the city centre cost £8 in a taxi or 15min walk.
- Wright (8/5): Comfortable and pleasant - would stay again - Qwerky accommodation - also felt very secure. Great to have parking facility The location - it seemed in the middle of quite a run down area. You wouldn't get this from the description. No where in the immediate vicinity to eat
- Adrian (9/5): Very comfortable stress free stay - Had everything we needed ,with a great location ,easy and quick walk to city .
Private parking is real bonus Nothing
- Hannah (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Lovely quirky place with everything you could need and more. Hosts were fantastic and even left things like toiletries, butter and milk, which we didn't expect but was really thoughtful and very appreciated after a long drive. Living room was really cosy with a heater and Netflix/BBC etc all logged in and ready to go. Hosts had clearly thought of everything and gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Check in/out was super easy too and there's generous parking right outside the property which was a huge bonus. Weren't able to use the courtyard as it was too cold (February) but would be great in summer. Can't fault the property or the hosts; however, the area didn't feel the safest, which we didn't realise as we're not familiar with Cardiff/Adamsdown. We were a bit on edge walking into town late at night (after being approached by a strange man the first night) and saw two police cars dealing with an incident outside the local shop on night 3. There was also some kind of loud/sus engine revving going on late on the second night which lasted for about 10 minutes. Nothing the hosts could do about that, but worth noting if you're travelling alone.
The only other downside was that because of the configuration of the building, we could hear the people upstairs constantly (loud water flushing next to the living room whenever they used the bathroom, and loud footsteps/banging from 8 in the morning when they presumably got up for work). Assume the floorboards may be bare/uncarpeted as they were in our apartment. Again, not the fault of the hosts and possibly wouldn't be as much of an issue if not staying on a week day like we did.
- Tracie (10/5): peaceful and cosy stay in a beautiful grade two listed building. the perfect retreat. - opened the front door and it was like walking into a home away from home. the property is around a 15 minute walk from the city centre and has local bus routes across the city close by. it is one of a number of homes in a grade two listed buildin and is a beautifully furnished and cosy retreat that is perfect for writers or for anyone looking to find somewhere peaceful to stay. would highly recommend and hope to visit again. pet friendly too which is a bonus.
- Phil (10/5): Excellent!!! - Lovely, spacious and well equipped flat. Very good communication with hosts and some lovely little touches like a handwritten welcome note and fresh milk in the fridge.
First class! nothing to dislike
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Kat (10/5): We had the best time in this quirky and homey air BnB. We will definitely be back! Thank you! - We LOVED this property! We will definitely be back. You felt like you were at home as soon as you walked through the door. It had everything you could possibly want and more (the LOVELY hosts left treats for our little dog) which was an amazing touch. Nothing
- Emma (10/5): Perfect stay - What a lovely apartment! I wish we had booked for more than one night. Booked for a gig at the stadium, was around £8 in a taxi there, and a 20-minute walk back.
Their attention to detail went above and beyond, milk, tea, coffee, snacks...prosecco all there waiting for us.
The apartment was clean with plenty of space in each room. Photos don't do it justice.
Would definitely visit again! There is nothing we didn't like.
- Sara (10/5): Comfortable and beautifully presented. - Quirky listed building with a potted history in the guest book. Very cosy with everything you need to have a comfortable night in.
