• Marina (5/5): - La ubicación En cuanto a las instalaciones, el colchón es incómodo y la limpieza mejorable. En cuanto a lo demás, si entras más tarde de las 19.00 te cobran 20€ (en efectivo), el aparcamiento que ofrecen está bastante lejos del apartamento, la salida es a las 10 y a las 9.45 ya están llamando a la puerta para que salgas.
• Andreas (7/5): - Die Lage ist top, um fußläufig ins Zentrum zu gehen. Das Apartment ist geräumig und nett eingerichtet. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Duschbad. Auch eine Waschmaschine (kein Waschmittel) ist da. Die Einbauküche ist groß und mit Geschirrspüler. Die öffentlichen Parkplätze waren wirklich nah dran. Der Servicemitarbeiter bei der Schlüsselübergabe war sehr freundlich. Spät einchecken und früh auschecken. Für alles mögliche gibt es Strafzahlungen. Man muss an eine andere Adresse fahren um dort die Schlüssel abzuholen. Die Haustür haben wir nur sehr schwer öffnen können. Auch praktisch alle anderen Türen haben große Probleme. Wenn man nicht sehr aufpasst bleibt der Kühlschrank offen. Die Balkontüren schließen nicht korrekt, die Zimmertüren klemmen und schließen damit sehr laut. Die Toilette gluckert ewig nach dem Spülen. Das Apartment wirkte ewig nicht benutzt. Die Nespresso Maschine.... Die Duschtasse.... Der Ausblick...

• Barteman (9/5): Toplocatie! - ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Zeer vriendelijke host en een geweldige locatie. Een aanrader! Wifi en ontvangst via mobiel netwerk werkte dikwijls niet... Voor ons geen probleem (onthaasten), maar voor pubers is dit een ander verhaal ;-)

• Rosalie Guanwu (6/5): Rude staff, hidden fees, renovations, and extremely difficult check-in. - Very spacious. The staff had a lot of attitude while checking us in, the stay did not feel hospitable at all. Check-in was extremely difficult. They also charge a bunch of hidden fees if you don’t comply with the “rules” they make you sign. The apartment is also next to two construction projects. Room was not completely clean either.

Ci sono problemi di umidità e persiste leggermente l’odore di muffa, accoglienza assente e anonima poiché si ritirano le chiavi in una specie di agenzia e ci si reca all’appartamento.
• Olivier (7/5): Logement bien situé mais certains équipements sont à renouveler - Le point positif : la localisation dans le centre de Lagos. La présence de 2 salles de bain + un petit balcon. L'accuei très expéditif est réalisé par une agence en ville avec des horaires restrictifs. L'équipement est à revoir : chaises bancales et sales, etandoir rouillé, robinetterie descellée. L'appartement pourrait être agréable s'il était entretenu.

• Irmi (6/5): - Das Apartement war sehr groß, sauber und die Lage unglaublich gut. Entgegen der Ausschreibung befindet sich keine Waschmaschine im Apartement. Wir hatten uns extra deswegen dafür entschieden, was sehr schade war. Zudem muss man den Müll selbst ausleeren und dann überlegen was man damit macht. Es sind keine Mülltonnen vom Apartement vorhanden. Das fand ich sehr unverschämt. Soll mans einfach in die Natur werfen? Kritisch. Wird der Müll dort gelassen, so muss man eine Gebühr zahlen. Den Schlüssel fürs Apartement muss man vorab bei einer Agentur abholen. Als Rucksackreisende mit Kind ein zusätzlicher Aufwand.
• helen (8/5): Perfect location - Very handy location to town, good sized apartment, well equipped kitchen. Lovely shower and bathroom, modern and clean Nice towels provided. No dishwasher tablets, would have been handy. Sofa bed was quite tricky to open until u got the hang of it. And the sheet didn't really fit it. Washing machine ideally needed some instructions, took me a while to work it out. Thought from the photos we had an outside balcony space but that was the flat next door
• Zignar (6/5): Lagos är fint. Detta bolag bryr sig inte om at behålla sina kunder.... - Toalettpappret räckte bara i två dagar, och vi var tvungna att köpa eget. Det fanns varken internet, TV eller parkering, trots att allt detta ingick enligt bokningen. Vi fick dessutom felaktiga anvisningar till boendet och letade länge innan vi hittade det eftersom det låg på en annan plats än den som angivits. Receptionen hävdade att ”vår parkering”, som skulle ingå, egentligen var gatuparkering och att den skulle vara gratis. Det stämde inte. Vi fick parkeringsböter. Dream Algarve anstränger sig inte för att behålla sina kunder. Leta vidare..
• Elena (9/5): - Struttura accogliente e molta alta, ti senti subito a casa. Bagno ben servito con molti utensili utili. Abbiamo trovato accappatoi e ciabatte. Tutto molto pulito e ci pulivano la camera ogni giorno. Davvero molto consigliato. La posizione ottima, a 5 min a piedi dal centro.

• Lukas (7/5): - Die Lage der Unterkunft selbst ist gut. Der Check-in erfolgt an einem anderen Standort, etwa 8 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Falls der Check-in außerhalb der auf Booking angegebenen Zeiten stattfindet oder während des Aufenthalts außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten Hilfe benötigt wird, wird dafür ein Aufpreis von mindestens 20 € verlangt. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir außerdem im Schlafzimmer sowie in anderen Räumen Schimmel an der Decke festgestellt. Für den Preis der Unterkunft hätten wir insgesamt einen besseren Zustand erwartet.
• Huffine (6/5): - AirBnb was very spacious and bright, quiet at night. The property was not ready on time (wasn’t cleaned until 7pm on the day of check-in) and the location was very confusing, received incorrect pin location from the property management group. Shower in the twin room was damaged. No basic items like salt or oil were provided.
• Chantalle (6/5): Great location, but lacking some amenities - Great location in central Old Town and very spacious. Though kind of well stocked with some dish wear, the apartment lacked many essentials to cook with - only a single kitchen knife, wooden spoon, and pasta ladle. No basics such as salt, paper, tea, coffee, paper towels provided. Communications were also a bit delayed - the toaster was broken and freezer frozen shut and though they were replaced/fixed, it was more than 24 hours after did they respond. Street parking is very awkward and hard to find due to the narrow streets.
• Annet (8/5): Fijn appartement op goede locatie. - Locatie, rust, ruimte, hygiëne. Goed bed. De stoelen waren scheef, de bank was doorgezakt. Broodrooster en schemerlamp in de kamer werkten niet. Stopcontact in de keuken was onveilig/ zat los.

• Joelle (6/5): - Right in the middle of old town, we were able to check in early which was a treat. Really big space. Someone was still logged into streaming services on the tv which was great. Good kitchen facilities for cooking. Bed is extremely uncomfortable (you can feel the springs through it). There is no aircon unit in the bedroom so it gets quite muggy / dewy - including the sheets feeling damo. The wall of the bedroom also develops condensation which meant the tiled floors and walls were wet. Bathroom also very steamy even though there's an aircon unit in there (it doesn't do it's job well). Instructions for using the safe and the washing machine were also missing. Freezer was completely frozen over.
• Joseph Jacques Ronald (9/5): Great stay! - Great location! Right old town Lagos close to restaurants and shops. Stay was clean and comfortable. Small amenities like coffee or tea and there wasn't enough toilet paper. Beds were a little hard.
• Chris (6/5): Disappointed. Experience was much better 2 years ago when we came. Would not come back or recommend. - Location is great! They do not give breakfast at the door. They used to, but not anymore. So do not expect that. AC is old and does not work great. Some nights were horrible to sleep, especially for my young children. Need to buy new AC machines ASAP. TV sound did not work for most of our stay. Took one full week for someone to come look at it and fix it. Unacceptable to be honest. Shower water was yellow as well.

• Tara (4/5): Not impressed. - Girl at the office where we picked up keys was not friendly and should not be working in customer service in my opinion as ppl on holidays are happy and she quickly nipped that in the bud with her cold and serious and dismissive demeanour. The office was miles away from place as was the parking lot which is an inconvenience. There were no sheets or pillow cases for pullout bed and we called took them ages to deliver and they only bought one pillow case.

• Astri (5/5): Disappointing and cold. - Good location if you want to be in the old part of town, spacious flat. Our main complaint was that it was winter (cold and wet )and the advertised heating didn’t work. We only had tiny little blow heaters which made little to no impact. Some equipment missing - not enough bedding, rusty clothes drying rack. Generally this place needs some effort and care to make it more comfortable.and attractive. Very generic and tired furniture. When we informed the agent about the heating they did not apologise but did send more blankets. They sent someone around who turned on the broken aircon/heater (which we had already done). It still read 30 degrees but was not working and no heat coming from it.

• Hong (5/5): Loacation is great but apartment and service poor - The location is excellent, right in the middle of old town and is very convenient. Check-in and picking up keys was done in the agent’s office rather than at the property, within a strict timeframe of 4pm to 7pm before additional costs incurred, it was very inconvenient to drag luggage to two different places. Check-out was early at 10am, the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 9.50am, it was very unpleasant. The agent originally said we could leave our luggage in their office on the day of our departure, but when confirmed a time with them, they said their office wouldn’t be open for most of the day (Wednesday), and didn’t answer my text asking if we could have late check-out. There were 4 small toilet rolls provided for our 4 nights stay, we had to go and buy toilet paper. Only 2 tiny soaps were provided, no shampoo, body wash. The apartment is old and cold and in a run-down status. There were no blankets inside the bedsheet, we had to look for blankets and make our own beds, the blankets were thin, we had to use double blankets.

• Stefan (8/5): Gute Unterkunft in Stadt Nähe - Die Lage ist zentral in der Stadt, eventuell nichts für Leute mit leichtem Schlaf. Zwei Duschen und viel Platz. Keine Straße am Haus und auch kein Verkehr nur Personenverkehr in der und im Restaurant Aussicht auf dem Balkon ist nicht besonders schön und auch nicht gepflegt sowie auch die freifläche zum Waschen von Wäsche. Keine parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe, da wir nicht viel Gepäck hatten konnten wir die 10 Minuten laufen.

Es gab zwar eine Küche, aber keinerlei Extras wie Salz, Pfeffer, Spülmaschinentabs oder Ähnliches. Das einzige Küchenmesser war ein stumpfes Stück Blech. Kommunikation über Agentur komplett unpersönlich, es wurde überhaupt nicht auf meine Anfrage reagiert. Daher würde ich diese Unterkunft kein zweites Mal buchen.

Bir firma tarafından yönetildiği için çok bürokratik farklı bir yerden anahtarı almak gibi durumlar çok zorlaştırıyor. Personelin tavrı da soğuk ve yardımsever değil. Ev kış ayları için soğuk ve yeterince ısıtıcı yok. Yedek yastıklarda kan lekesi vardı kullanmaya cesaret edemedik ev temiz gibi dursada temiz değildi. İyi bir seçenek değil.

• Jean-Pierre (8/5): Location & property were good, property management not so much... - Location was very convenient... We used AirBnB for our 4 other stays in Portugal. They all used a lockbox for checkin. Dream Algarve required us to go to the office and since we were a late arrival had to pay a penalty and still had to hunt for our property using 3 different keys that were not well explained. Plus, an insufficient amount of toilet paper is provided for a 4 night stay... apparently providing an adequate supply is too much for the management company. Communication is a little terse and doesn't feel friendly...

• Ladurshan (6/5): Average - not worth the money. - The apartment is in a great location, right in the old town center and about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. I also appreciated that they allowed an early check-in. That said, there were quite a few things that made the stay uncomfortable. The key collection point is not near the apartment — it’s about a 15-minute walk away — and the setup felt more like a travel or call center, which was a bit odd. The instructions for finding the apartment were confusing and unclear, and even after entering the building, it took some time to locate the correct room. Inside, the place looked much darker than in the photos, even during the day. The apartment layout was awkward, with the ground floor just being a corridor and the rooms upstairs. There was an unpleasant smell upon entering, and only the living room had air conditioning — not the bedroom. The pillows were very small, and the bathroom wasn’t pleasant either, with a bad odor and no toiletries provided, just toilet paper. Overall, despite the convenient location and early check-in, the stay didn’t feel comfortable or welcoming. It could use much better communication, clearer instructions, and some basic improvements to make it feel more like a proper holiday apartment.

• Philipp (7/5): - Die Lage is wirklich traumhaft mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Appartment war auch gut. Sofa etwas dreckig aber ansonsten passts. Check In erst ab 16:00 und Schlüssel sind an einem anderen Ort zu holen das nervt etwas. Checkout dafür schon um 10:00 fanden wir unnötig weil wir es sonst von Portugal gewohnt sind. checkin ab 15:00 und checkout bis 11 oder 12. also hatten wir gesamt sogar 2-3h weniger Aufenthalt.
• Ana Luiza (8/5): Apartamento ótimo e super bem localizado, mas com horários de check-in e check-out bem restritos - O apartamento é excelente, muito espaçoso, com cômodos amplos e limpos. A cama é confortável, o chuveiro ótimo e a cozinha bem equipada, incluindo máquina de lavar. A localização é ideal, bem no centrinho de Lagos, e atendeu super bem às nossas necessidades. O prédio é um pouco mal cuidado e tem muitas escadas. Para nós não foi um problema, mas pode ser para outros hóspedes. O principal ponto negativo foram os horários de check-in (16h) e check-out (10h), que deixam a diária cerca de seis horas mais curta, algo que considero injustificável, mesmo levando em conta o tempo necessário para a limpeza. Além disso, não é possível estacionar o carro nas ruas próximas, já que são estreitas e limitadas por estarem no centro histórico. Há, porém, um estacionamento público bem próximo, onde deixamos o carro todas as noites. Foi ótimo, mas poderia ser melhor sinalizado pelos recepcionistas no momento do check-in.
• Fernando (2/5): - The location is central, making it easy to walk around. There is no parking around the accommodation, you need to walk at least 500m to the nearest public parking space. The apartment wasn't cleaned very well and has a terrible smell in the evening. We were four people and only received one coffee pod. Getting hold of the agents is also incredibly difficult. We tried to communicate with them before and after but got no responses.

• Bianca (2/5): Good location but everything else extremely poor, wouldn’t stay again or recommend - Good location Uncomfortable beds and pillows, air conditioning in the lounge only - mean in the bedrooms were hot, minimal toilet paper provided, internet barely worked the entire 5 days, no kitchen clothes or hand towels provided so difficult to clean dishes and keep kitchen clean. Apartment was not cleaned for check in time - we arrived to the cleaner only part way through cleaning and this was at 4.30pm, (After the check in time)

• S Nordstrom (6/5): Casa Feliz or Casa Usado - Casa Feliz is in an excellent location in the heart of Lagos. The apartment has a small juliette balcony with a table and two chairs. This accommodation passed my basic expectations: 1. shower is good with hot water in constant flow. 2. Beds were comfortable, not highest quality mind you. We all slept well. On to other note worthy comments: It is a first floor stair climb. This means windows and balcony caught the ocean breeze. Lovely! We did not mind the noisy city vibe and felt at home safe and secure. Casa Feliz seems to be a once spruced up budget apartment and is now well worn. 1. If one drives a car make sure you find parking nearby at walkable distance. It is not as the profile suggests. Parking must be at a distance no street parking available. 2. The electrical wiring seems amiss in the main living/dining room as lights flickered. Did not feel comfortable having the chandelier lit or wall lights. The electrical short was evident. Also wifi was good, at times would lose signal-- this could be the wiring in the room. Further television switched on affected the effectiveness of WiFi. We resorted to candles for evening light which proved to be warm golden lighting. 3. This apartment is due for remodeling. It is worn. Repaint, repairs in shower, and replace the uncomfortable sofa and dining chairs. Samsung Air-conditioning unit is antiquated or needs servicing as it did not cool. Thankfully, the ocean breeze was gorgeous! Love the open doors/windows cross breeze. In the end, one leaves grateful for the visit and in such a great location. However, it is overpriced for what the reality of Casa Feliz is. The photographs reveal a new fresh apartment and that is what we all will pay for.
• Maiken (6/5): Falta aire acondicionado en las habitaciones! - La ubicación y lo amplio de que es. Solamente tiene aire acondicionado en el salón y funcionaba muy mal. En las habitaciones no hay. Demasiado calor!!! Tardamos una hora en recibir la llave en la inmobiliaria. Te hacen firmar un documento que parece que eres un criminal. Por ejemplo “si no sacas la basura te cobramos 20€ extras” El piso era espacioso pero necesita una reforma urgente!

• Carine (4/5): Logement vétuste et bruyant. - L’emplacement est pas mal bien que très bruyant. L’accueil : pour récupérer les clés il faut se rendre à une agence, faire la queue, puisque tout le monde vient entre 16h et 17h… on n’a pas pu récupérer le logement avant. Ensuite se rendre au logement que nous avons mis du temps à trouver malgré les explications de l’agence. Le lieu est bruyant, la Clim n’est présente que dans le salon, donc difficile de dormir avec le bruit et la chaleur. Les matelas sont durs, les oreillers aussi. Les photos mettent bien en valeur l’appartement qui est en réalité moins bien que sur les photos.

La tostadora está ya muy deteriorada. Gran dificultad para abrir el sofa-cama. El mando de la TV no apaga el aparato. No encontramos pinzas y jabón de lavadora.

• Katie (10/5): Exceptional - The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was wonderfully spacious, as there were only two of us.
• Danguole (8/5): Very good - The location is realy great, very spacious, comfottable beds, both rooms have separate bathrooms, large kitchen., Few broken items in the property. One of the shower door, so we were not using it, one of the balcony chair is almost broken, it was scary to sit on it, knifes not sharp, almost imposible to cut anything, one of the knifes was with a broken handle,, making it a uselwss piece of rubish, but it is still in the drawer. Most sad was the loundry room which You see as You enter the apartment: it is behind glass door, so You always see it. It had a broken floor and ruined boiler shelf, making You feel like in ruins. The boiler and washing masshine works fine, but the feeling is not good. Above all the communication was pure. I had to ask twice about rubish disposal and recieved an answer 1 hour after check out. .

• Siobhan (7/5): Good - Location was excellent. Very clean, huge apartment and well equipped kitchen. Towels were also provided. Loved the balcony. It dosent have a view but that didn't bother us. Washing machine and clothes horse provided so it was very handy! Beds weren't the most comfortable. There was no iron even though it was advertised. There was an ironing board. We asked the owner about the iron and received no response so had to end up buying our own! WiFi not great! Almost 40 steps up to apartment so bare this in mind when booking - there's no elevator.

• Claudette (7/5): The location was absolutely perfect. Nice and quiet, yet central to restaurants, marine and old town. Provided free park - Location It could use a good scrub. The curtains had multiple stains on them, black mold throughout suite including window sealing, baseboards and shower. I had dropped an earring on the floor and looked under the bed for it, only to find dirt, dust bunnies and food. The communication with property managers could also be improved. It would often take 2 days to have a question answered. Checkout instructions would also have been nice regarding garage, keys etc
