Ryan (6/5): Overall, the villa didn’t feel worth the value for the price. - The villa offered a pleasant view. The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly, the bathroom was somewhat unclean, and there was no exhaust system to allow for adequate air circulation.

Charlotte (7/5): Overall a lovely villa with an awesome private pool! Had lots of bugs and insects inside and found the evenings to be qu - Lovely private pool Kind staff who bring grab orders to your door Full size fridge and freezer Stove top and cooking items Doors to the outside don’t reach all the way to the ground, leaving a few centimetres at the top and bottom where bugs and insects come to visit constantly. We had gekos, spiders, beetles, grasshoppers and ants inside frequently, but that’s all part of the bali experience! Luckily the bed had a mosquito net so we slept with that done. The aircon and fan also didn’t seem to complete well with the heat, and it was quite warm inside still. Location was also quite far from anything and wasn’t possible to just walk out the door and go for a stroll. Grab drivers were also not able to find and/or make the trip down to the bottom of the hill where the villas were located, so we had to walk up the hill every time we got a grab.

Mads (9/5): Fantastic peaceful villa experience - Everything was lovely and clean at the villa, staff was super helpful on a couple of occasions when needed also in the evening. Contacts with them via WhatsApp was largely smooth as well. No neighbor noises or disruptions for the 6 days we stayed. Room including bathroom is super well designed and seems huge for the size of villa. The location itself is quite secluded from more busy areas apart from a couple of cafes in walking distance. Food delivery also had some trouble finding the place, but eventually did. Not really a negative, if you like the tranquility of the place.

Karim (7/5): Relaxing Stay at Dmacho Villa 🌿 - Dmacho Villa is a peaceful place, perfect for relaxation. The private pool is a great feature, ideal for enjoying a quiet moment in privacy. The staff was absolutely amazing – warm, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. The villa's design is charming, with a lovely local touch that adds to the comfort of the experience. Contrary to my expectations, there was no view of the rice fields, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the location is somewhat isolated, so having your own transport is necessary to explore the area. A few small maintenance details, like in the bathroom, could also be improved.

Ta (10/5): Loved our stay here, would definitely book again. - Stayed in the 2 bedroom Villa with Pool: Rooms were very clean and spacious, looked just like the pictures Beds were very comfortable, big comfy pillows Air-conditioning worked Bathrooms were clean and spacious Pool was clean and had complete privacy Kitchen had clean utensils and fridge was working Staff were very attentive & responsive, very quick service They had a spa & massage service, but we didn’t have time to use. The Villa is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by rice fields. Easy for the taxi to access the Villa. Breakfast was okay, small, not worth the extra we paid Location is far from Ubud central, restaurants & shops were not within walking distance. Perfect stay if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Sultan (1/5): Bery bad management is bad ,i don’t recommend since there is bad management - I have i issue with the heater water system since yesterday ,i arrived at 3pm and the heater systems not working ,they promised me to fix at 6pm and i was very cooperative with them …the heater system not yet solved until the next day and I couldn’t take shower due to cold water .i contacted the support service and they ask me to wait until the spare part will arrive as well they dont know when the issue will fix …i asked to refund my money since the issue is there and not yet been solve as well this is waisting my time since i have specific time and plans to do .the management is so bad even there is no management to change the place . Nothing negative about the property, we more found the location to be quite far from the places we wanted to go for shopping, eating, activity etc. This is perfect though if you want to relax more at the villa and want less exploring.

I don't want to complain it was great, but the lampshade above the table to exit the room I kept hitting my head 100 times over haha

It is located inside the village and there is no nearby shops for any emergency purchase or for eating. Better finish eating, complete your day and then return to the hotel. Nothing much to say
Bea (9/5): Beautiful and calm stay - The room is beautiful and tidy. We enjoyed getting a private pool and everyone from the staff was very friendly. It was quiet and away from all of the noise, like we wanted. They have a water filtration system in the room for you to fill up your bottle, which is great to save plastic. They have great air conditioning. The towels were a bit dirty and the water from the sink smelled like metal. We also think that for the value, maybe breakfast could have been included, because for a similar price (a bit more with coffee) we could get a nicer breakfast in the city center.

The Villa has parking for both cars and motorcycles, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are huge and equipped. The villa is a little far from Ubud, but close enough so that it is not a problem and you are instead in a more relaxed place. I would definitely recommend it.

Putri (9/5): Great and Memorable stays! Thankyou - I recently had the pleasure of staying at D macho villas Ubud and I must say, it was an incredible experience for long term stay. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything one could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The villa was impeccably clean, they provide complete needs for daily such as hair dryer, microwave, kitchen tools, dispenser free flow water, hanger, anti mosquitos, kelambu, etc. I also notice that design was pretty, clean yet comfortable. Plus point on a bit warm private pool, fast wifi and friendly staff. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. During my anniversary stay, they went above and beyond to make it a truly romantic experience. The villa was beautifully decorated with flowers on the bed and a delicious cake and drinks awaited us upon arrival. Appreciate on that kind of attention - thank you <3 However, it is worth mentioning that the villa is located a bit far from the center of Ubud, approximately 8km away. While this may not be an issue for some, it is something to consider if you prefer to be closer to the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, the road leading to the villa can be a bit steep and challenging, especially for smaller cars. It is advisable to have a vehicle with good traction or opt for a larger car when visiting. We got room with hard door to be closed (need more energy esp in the morning to received the breakfast and closed the door again), also sometimes theres a bug/flies - thus prefer to use kelambu during sleeping. Despite this minor inconvenience, the villa itself is a hidden gem. The serene surroundings and peaceful atmosphere more than make up for the distance from the city center. If you are looking for a tranquil retreat, away from the crowds, this villa is the perfect choice.
