Guest Reviews
- Natacha (10/5): Dream stay in Haworth - Probably one of the best rentals I've had so far.
The house is perfect, it's cosy and clean, and nothing was missing.
We were welcome with chocolate and drinks and the host has been very nice and responsive from the booking till we leave the house.
I'd definitely recommend if you look for a nice place in Haworth. Also, the location is fabulous, it has a parking space and is really in the heart of Haworth.
- Helen (10/5): Lovely stay at Holmes Cottage - Becky is an amazing host. So generous in her welcome pack. It was my mum's birthday so she made our stay extra special. The cottage had everything we needed and tastefully decorated. We have loved our stay and hope to return There was nothing we did not like.
- Leeann (10/5): - Everything! Perfect location, perfect facilities. Perfect host. Nothing not to like.
- Louise (10/5): Perfect - The cottage was just off main Street with a little garden that was still quiet. Beautiful cottage with everything you need and lots of extras we even had an Easter egg when we arrived. Becky is lovely and nothing was too much bother. Great communication from Becky and we would definitely stay again Nothing
- Rebecca (10/5): A little bit of magic in beautiful Haworth - Holmes Cottage couldn't be more perfect. We booked it on the strength of the reviews and the property and Becky deserve them all.
The location couldn't be better and we couldn't have felt more welcome or cosy. Becky is right on hand if needed but not at all intrusive. We will definitely come back. Nothing could have been better. From supplying oat milk for me to setting up a beautiful fire we were absolutely spoilt!
- Louise (10/5): Lovely cottage in the heart of Haworth, amazing host. - Lovely cottage in the heart of Haworth. The hosts couldn't have been kinder, going above and beyond with their hospitality. All very clean, with nicely supplied kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely sitting room with wood burning stove all set up to light. Nothing!
- Sophie (10/5): - The cottage was very comfy and cosy and our host was so helpful and welcoming. The fire had already been made and there was bread, milk, biscuits, chocolate, fresh eggs and even cava for our arrival! We absolutely loved the location, very central but quiet. We couldn't have loved it anymore and are very much hoping to come back sometime soon. A beautiful stay. Everything was great!

- Anne (10/5): With the lovely, old, open fire we imagined we were two of the Brontes - but cosy and well fed! - The location is perfect for exploring Brontë country. The welcome hamper was a real treat - very generous with lovely, good quality, local produce. The bedrooms were really warm, beautifully decorated and with comfortable beds and the sitting room was charming - with the open fire a real highlight. For us, nothing really. Becky was a brilliant hostess, she was really responsive to our questions and requests and was very knowledgeable about everything local. We appreciated all her help to make our stay particularly enjoyable.
- Angela (10/5): Perfect place to stay to explore Haworth - We loved everything about the property, the location was perfect, the cottage has everything you need and is very warm & cosy. Nothing

- Leah (10/5): Beautiful cosy cottage in a stunning location, with a wonderful host - This little cottage is in a perfect location. It was so clean, cosy and inviting. Becky was so attentive both before and during our stay. We had all the groceries we would need and even a choice of alcoholic drink which was so kind. Becky checked to make sure we arrived safely and offered to bring extra wood or rebuild the fire during our stay. The facilities were perfect and it felt like a home away from home. Thank you Becky for making this such a special stay for me and my family. There wasn’t anything not to like - it was all perfect.
- Jaime Lee (10/5): Perfect, memorable stay; very kind, considerate host - This cottage was exactly what my best friend and I had in mind when we planned our little trip to Haworth, but what exceeded our expectations was how incredibly kind and thoughtful the host, Becky, was at all times. I've never stayed anywhere that has given such brilliant hospitality (and that includes 4-star hotels). Becky provided so much to make the stay very special, and clearly cared that we had a comfortable and memorable stay. I cannot find a single fault.
The cottage felt like a lovely haven, with really cute décor that suits the little village. It's so close to the main street, so very convenient for popping back and forth. It was also very quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and we both slept very well.
Haworth itself is wonderful for a short stay, with plenty of local, independent shops and eateries. We both adored our trip here.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect relaxing home from home with everything on your doorstep - Holmes cottage was a perfect getaway for myself and my husband. Perfect location off the Main Street with private parking, and so cosy and homely, we didn’t want to leave.
The stove in the living room was stocked daily with logs and with a comfy sofa and delicious treats and coffee, we spent a lot of time enjoying the fabulous views across the valley.
I couldn’t fault anything and Rebecca and her family made us feel so welcome
Would definitely recommend and we hope to return xxx Nothing, we personally would love to live here 🤣🤣
- Jane (10/5): - Becky is a fantastic host - you will thoroughly enjoy staying here! Everything was perfect 😍
- Jacqueline (10/5): Didn’t want to leave, felt like I’d fallen through time, enchanted by this place, can’t wait to return and wouldn’t stay - Beautiful cosy home in the heart of Haworth, right on the Main Street. I had an amazing stay here, everything I needed and more. Beautiful log burning fire, spotlessly clean, great kitchen facilities and a wonderful food bundle (& I’m coeliac, so not that easy to do, felt special). Becky and Andy went out of their way to make me feel welcome and cared for. I loved this place and the people and I will definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend. Nothing, it was perfect
- Helen (10/5): Amazing hosts, super comfortable, incredible location with parking! - My Dad and I visited for a long weekend in October. The cottage is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The beds are wonderful, great shower, there are lots of thoughtful touches from the host as well as a super cosy fire. Parking is right outside the door and the location is just off Main Street near the lovely Fleece Inn.
Becky and her family were so incredibly welcoming, warm and generous. Highly recommend! Nothing at all we didn’t like but just to be prepared that the toilet is upstairs which is absolutely fine but if you have mobility issues or difficulty with stairs just note that they are on the steeper side. My Dad (78) who is at times a bit unsteady on his feet managed them ok with care.
- Sophie (10/5): - Really welcoming and attentive host, the cottage itself was beautifully done up and comfortable, you could tell that Becky had really put effort in to every little detail. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're ever in Haworth, I'm sure we'll be back soon!
- Susan (10/5): Comfortable and very convenient for sight seeing - Very convenient for shops cafes restaurants sight seeing in Howarth and walking to Top Withens . Easy to park near property - free . Lovely welcome pack and fire ready to light . Very clean and comfortable and charming chatty host willing to go that extra mile.

- Julie (8/5): a lovely short stay for 2 friends in Haworth - A comfortable cottage in the heart of Haworth. Ideal for walking in that area and seeing Haworth. Parking for 2 cars provided which is a real bonus in Haworth.
- Butcher (9/5): An ideal holiday - Situated in a scenic landscape of hills, moors and valleys, its central position in the midst of the main street made ideal for strolling through the town and browsing through the quirky shops and easy acess to the varied selection of pubs and cafes. Easy road travel with scenic views through a post industrial and literary landscape.
The cottage was homely, comfortable, and well equipped, Becky was a perfect host, helpful and friendly, and, was easily contactable if required. She gave lots of advice on nearby places to visit.
- Alex (10/5): Perfection, can’t wait to book again! - The property is a beautiful cottage right in the heart of Haworth. The location is unrivalled, just a few steps from the Main Street. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need and Becky even provided some extra goodies for our arrival. The cottage however, is only half of the story. Becky could not be a better host. Her communication before and during our stay was exceptional. She really cared that we enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating a big birthday and she put up a birthday banner, left a birthday card, a cake and some beer. The extra touches go a long way. We absolutely loved our stay and we will definitely return. If you can book this accommodation, you should! Nothing
- Genevieve (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay in Haworth - the place is lovely and quiet and the host is really friendly we would love to v -
- Karen (10/5): Becky was an excellent and personable host, treating us as dearest friends. Also, the location was so perfect! - It was charming and so comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed, and finding the goodies and treats gave us a taste of what Haworth had to offer. Yummy! It would be wonderful if washcloths could be provided along with the bath and hand towels. We saw this often in hotels as well.
- Melanie (10/5): Haworth Jun 20th 2025 - The host was extremely welcoming leaving us lots of goodies in the cottage on arrival. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay including towels.shower gel. Shampoo. Comfy beds and a large shower cubicle. Outside patio with table and chairs. It truly was an amazing place right in the heart of Haworth main st. Would definitely recommend this property. Nothing, the whole stay was perfect
- Dawn (10/5): Exceptional - Holmes cottage is a pure gem. It's so quirky, beautifully decorated, and the location is fantastic. The beds are comfortable, the shower is great, and it has everything you need for a perfect break.
Becky literally went above and beyond, certainly a top hostess, ensuring that we had the best time. She even sought restaurants for me that serve gluten-free food to prevent me from worrying about getting poorly so I could have a meal out comfortably without any hassle and concern.
When I return to Haworth, I will definitely be staying here again. Absolutely nothing!!
- Gill (10/5): A brilliant weekend stay for our son's wedding. - This is a little gem of a property right in the heart of Haworth. It has a wonderful authentic vibe but is set out to make you feel welcome and at home straight away. We were there for 4 nights for the wedding of our son, so potentially a high pressure few days! However, the host made everything go smoothly. Even when we met with logistical issues.... like my son's spare shirt that needed some laundering... providing us with an essential iron and ironing board! and extra parking for the photographer who arrived early and with so much equipment!! Becky was brilliant. We also loved the little welcome touches and gifts that made it all so very special. It couldn't have been nicer. Thank you
- Chris (10/5): Best hosts ever! - The hosts couldn't do enough for us. We were treat like royalty. The location was superb. Right in the heart of the village with exceptional views. Comfortable bed and super cute cottage. We've loved every minute.
- Janet (10/5): So lovely. Would absolutely recommend. Becky is an exceptional host - Cosy and clean with so many personal touches to make us feel welcome
- Mahua (10/5): lovely, comfortable , beautifully furnished cottage in perfect central location in Howarth -
- Linda (10/5): We received a very warm welcome from the house, the hostess and the village! - The property was very cosy, clean and lovingly prepared for us. The location is perfect and comes with parking which was excellent in the middle of Haworth! Becky, the hostess, goes all out to make your stay perfect - from leaving the fire ready to go, providing a wonderful welcome pack and ensuring the house was toasty warm for our arrival. The house feels very loved and Becky is a very responsive host. It was also super nice to have a garden to enjoy the sunshine!
- Lawrence (10/5): Lovely Cottage and location. - Becky is such a welcoming Hostess, prior to arrival, she sent plenty of info/snaps to direct you to the Cottage, with its parking right outside. Welcomed by her Chickens which gifted us some of their eggs!! (plus Prosecco and other goodies). The property has been renovated to a very high standard and is pipping-clean, it is located half way up Main Street, so a few minutes walk to Bronte Parsonage, or down hill to Central Park/Railway Station with their Steam Trains.
Overall a lovely stay and we are sure it will be a great find for future Guests. Nothing to report about.
- Simon (10/5): Beautiful cosy cottage in the heart of Haworth - A perfect cottage with the perfect host. Ideally located in the heart of the village, with dedicated parking outside, this cottage is cosy, charming and spotlesslessly clean. The extras such as milk, bread, bottle of wine and freshly laid eggs are a wonderful bonus. Thank you Becky for allowing us to stay there and for being a wonderful host!
- Cara (9/5): Really good. - Location excellent. Host definitely went the extra mile to ensure that we had what we needed. Fresh and clean. Fire laid for us and very cosy and warm.
- Gemma (8/5): Very good -
