- MariadelCarmendrV (10/5): - El lugar.

- Ravram (9/5): Muy buen hotel.
- Sarang (10/5): Excellent stay - Great property grounds. Excellent breakfast and services. Room could have been more ventilation. To keep bugs out, we did not open windows in the night. Meshed windows would have been better.

- Leonella (10/5): The room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water. The restaurant had many local dishes which were all excellent y - Beautiful outdoor space to relax Coffee espresso wasn’t the best.

- Polina (7/5): Nice old (and cold) hotel 40 mins drive from Ollantaytambo - Nice stylish old hotel with well-kept territory The room was cold though had a heater, the hotel was almost empty, so we had to wait for water to heat. Too far from touristic places (which could be a pro but not this time).
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): - One of the most idyllic and peaceful retreats I’ve visited in traveling to 50 countries. You will not regret your stay. On site restaurant has great food. Breakfast included is full breakfast with many options including made to order omelettes.
- Osman (10/5): Exceptional - The setting was incredible, the staff was lovely and went out of their way to help, and the rooms/breakfast were both fantastic. An unbelievable venue for a family wedding! The only slight issue was that the WiFi dropped in and out a couple of times but this didn't really bother us at all
- Shwathi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Goda (10/5): Authentic hotel with good feel!:) - Beautiful family-owned hotel set into an antique farm house with a charming interior garden. It definitely has this authentic feeling you look for in rural hotels in an exotic country like Peru! The restaurant is pretty good and I definitely recommend a Pisco Sour at the cosy salon with a chimney!:). We took a train to Machu Picchu from the Urubamba station which is only 10 minutes away from the Casona de Yukay. We were only 4 people and were treated like kings:). I definitely recommend the hotel! Nothing

- ANDRES (10/5): - Amazing quiet and simple hotel. Great staff. The hotel is a bit old but it is still a great value for the price.

- Claudia (10/5): This place is excellent for Slow Travel, resting and reconnecting. Absolutely recommended. - It is my second stay at La Casona de Yucay, and my third visit there in 2023 (after 2 nights in 2018 and 2022 just visiting the place). Its location is very good, the rooms nice with big windows, clean and cozy. All staff are wonderful people, always very helpful and making you feel 'at home'. We stayed for 10 nights in total (3 nights and 7 nights) as we were hiking, resting, online working. I also has its very own charm with its architecture and beautiful gardens. We always moved in the micro buses to Urubamba or other places in the valley. I loved staying at Casona de Yucay, it is a magical place. I will come back. I look forward to more variety in meal choices for dinner and more diversity in breakfast. It was all very good, just more variety in fruits, juices, breads etc. would be so great. And I look forward to hear and see the hotels's efforts in sustainability.
- Cynthia (10/5): Great place to rest and eat - Beautiful, clean, well kept Nothing
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mircea (10/5): Exceptional - The garden is amazing, the rooms super clean and the restaurant delicious. The people there though are the ones that make the place for me. Such a lovely bunch
- Tatyana (2/5): - Attractive 18th century building, lovely garden and terrible Customer service!
I travel a lot and in many countries, I spend at least 200 nights a year in hotels, but I have never seen such an imbalance between nice place and bad customer service.
Very sad! condolences to the owner of this place.
- Gianfranco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (8/5): Very good -
- Alonso (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Comfy and clean. Friendly staff and good location. Bit pricey compared to other places.
- Susan (9/5): Highly recommend; 5* experience at 3* price. - beautiful, tranquil garden;
great staff; lovely spacious, clean & tidy rooms; tremendous value; great location for touring sacred valley. there was a sewage smell in our room but when we asked to be transferred, we were immediately moved to bigger, quieter room with no smell.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - One of the most beautiful hotels and properties I have ever stayed at. The scenery was breathtaking, the food delicious, and the room was immaculate. We want to come back and stay longer!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Beautiful gardens but misleading description - Beautiful gardens but the description of the hotel facilities is not correct...for example, no gym/wellness center, no "laundry facilities" eventhough "dry cleaning" is listed separately, the "bbq grills" are in fact one bbq grill that looks in bad shape hidden around the back of an outbuilding...and the rooms are not well sound proofed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful hotel, highly recommend it - We loved La Casona de Yucay Hotel. It is beautiful, with lovely courtyards and very quiet. The rooms are spacious and very nicely appointed. And the restaurant is excellent. Great place to stay on your way to or from Machu Pichu.
- helga (10/5): - the hotel was well kept, clean and modern. The gardens were absolutely spectacular. The service and breakfast were also great. I would recommend this hotel for couples and for families.
- Camille (10/5): - Loved Gilda friendly helpful kind
- Jennie (10/5): Spectacular surrounds - The staff were more than happy to help with anything we needed. One of the staff even came up to me to give me a beautiful hug on Mother's Day! The surrounding scenery was absolutely spectacular and the grounds themselves were beautifully maintained and included a vege garden. Would definitely stay here again
- Joe (10/5): - My 14 year old daughter and I stayed and loved it!
- Mariana (8/5): Hotel encantador, habitaciones sencillas - Excelentes areas comunes y jardines. Muy buena comida
- Maca (8/5): Excellent choice! - We went on a family trip with our 3 kids.... The staff was really nice and you could see the owner and her daughter around all the time taking care of our needs. Loved Yucay (much more than Urubamba valley)!!!!!!
Oh! Great breakfast too!
- Harvi_t (8/5): Beautiful views & gardens - This hotel was fantastic value for money if you find the right deal. The hotel has spectacular views of the mountains and is set within beautiful gardens. As it is 5 minutes away from the main town it is afforded a quiet location and is brilliant for relaxing after a trip such as the inka trail, there are many options available should you wish to have a massage or should you wish to wander the grounds there is plenty of space to wander and unwind at your leisure. The rooms are a little dated but are more than comfortable, wifi can be temperamental but the pancakes are AMAZING!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden Gem - Dream Team Staff - If you are travelling to Cusco - Machu Picchu, this is the perfect place to stay. The hotel is beautiful, in the middle of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
The rooms are huge and really nice. The service is five stars. While the hotel is located at 2,800m (Cusco is at 3,380m and Machu Picchu at 2,400m), I suffered from altitude sickness, and the staff moved sky and earth to assist me with the right medical attention and were very flexible with our reservation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): La Casona de Yucay Hotel in Yucay Peru - We stayed in 4 different 3 star hotels while in Peru and this was our favorite. The grounds are beautiful, the food great, and it was close to get to great tourist sites.
