• Chamidu Shamilka (8/5): Good - usually we are going as its good view and easy to reach beautiful Room and lighting but not maintained properly.

• Shani (3/5): Not happy to - Nothing I like the room we booked very dirty. After complained got a different room. Dirty used bed sheets and pillow cases played. With hair and a dirty mud foot stain. Who managed the room that person unpleasant and not friendly
• WIlliam (7/5): Average - Location to the beach, bars and restaurants, excellent pool with great views. The apartment itself was bright and spacious. The apartment could benefit from being decluttered (plastic flowers etc), and could do with a facelift, some of the furnishings are badly marked. It is not a 1 bedroom apartment as advertised, it’s a large studio.

• Joseph (8/5): Excellent property and close to the Negombo beach. - The facility and the location closer to the beach. Wi-Fi password did not work on this property.

Could have been cheaper for the slightly weird experience being " checked in" by owner? of the room within a hotel. I agree with another poster here, the experience of not really being considered part of the hotel ( daily cleaning, strange silence at checkout). Bit strange but if its cheapish, then fine for a night.

• Marisol (6/5): OK for a night - The location was good, close to local restaurants and a few steps from the beach. Partial sea view from the bed was quite enjoyable. Advertised as with kitchenette, there was nothing to cook on. Apparently the microwave broke the day before so after request they brought it after our first night stay. More attention to cleaning will make the place more appealing. It was OK for us as although we booked two nights we checked in late at night after only spending one night day due to a late flight. Despite having a pool only 2 towels originally given - after request on the second day we got spare for the pool. Although part of serviced apartments chain, managed by owner/manager who is independent from reception.

• Asiriv (8/5): Overall good experience - We stayed at Ocean Breeze Apartments and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was exceptionally comfortable and conveniently located near Browns Beach, offering a beautiful sea view. It was truly a luxurious stay. It would be even better if regular tea and coffee were provided.

• Martin (9/5): Ubytování samo o sobě bylo dobré, jen škoda špatné organizace a komunikace s klienty. - Lednice na pokoji. Pohodlná a velká postel. Střešní bazén. Výhled na oceán. Při našem příchodu o nás nikdo nevěděl. Na recepci spolupráce nic moc. Sami jsme museli zavolat na náš booking kontakt a doptávat se na náš check-in. Napoprvé nám telefon nikdo nebral. Po 4 hodinách kdy jsme se na ubytování vrátili, po prohlídce města, tak nám již byl hovor přijmut a známý majitele pokoje nám přišel předat klíče. To proběhlo bez problému. Následně jsme majiteli prostřednictvím WhatsAppu psali a žádali o údaje na wifi, zpráva byla pouze zobrazena.

• Imogen (1/5): A disaster experience from start to finish… - Good location. The address for this property is incorrect on booking.com!! We copied the address direct from the booking.com app and it took us to a different location meaning we had to pay extra for the taxi to get us in the right place. When we tried to tell the owner about this, we were met with complete hostility claiming that we incorrectly put the wrong address into maps. Even when we tried to show them that the address was wrong on booking.com they didn’t believe us. We were shouted at down the phone and it was a horrible experience. When we got into the apartment we found hairs all over the bed and dirty sheets as well as dust in the bathroom and stained walls. It didn’t feel clean at all. This is the worst place we have ever stayed in from booking.com (we have stayed in a lot as we are full time travellers…) avoid this property and book elsewhere!! The best part about it was leaving!

• Simon (4/5): A strange stay with many unwelcome surprises - The swimming pool at the roof is great. The main parts of the room are nice and the bed is comfy. Good TV and location to the airport Honestly, it feels like this hotel is half built and still in progress. There were signs of this in our room in certain drawers. I also found some empty bottles of Lion Stout in one of the cupboards alongside various DIY items. There are signs for a rooftop bar, but it wasn't open and again looked like it was in process of being built or refurbished. We were told there was a spa on fourth floor which we tried to check out but there wasn't. Extractor fan in the shower was extremely dirty and the shower was also cold for both me and my partner. The staff are pretty non existent, we had one interaction when we arrived and were asked to pay as soon as we arrived and got to our room. Other than that, it felt like we were in a bit of a ghost building, lights flickering in the hall ways and just general strangeness. The final thing I want to mention is that the TV is a smart TV with apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime as well as Internet access. When you turn on the smart TV you can see various tiles of what people have searched for and what Web pages they have been on, on the Internet. On the main TV homepage we could see Web pages open for p*rn websites which is quite disturbing, luckily we don't have kids but if we did and they were exploring the TV it would be really unideal

• Michael (9/5): Nice apartment in perfect location - Nice large, clean room with sitting area. Nice bathroom with separate shower. Great location for restaurants on main strip and excellent coffee shop on ground floor connected to complex. Secure room on 6th floor. Missed a room safe and having to go off-site for breakfast. A few cupboard latches need some maintenance. Would definitely stay again,
• Tharanga (7/5): Good - The location, price (value for money) was good Communication between owner, caretaker (named Giri) and key-keeper was very poor. We had to wait around 30 minutes to contact them one by one and it was not a pleasant experience. This was after notifying all three before one-hour of our arrival around 1 pm. It was very irresponsible of them.

• Kapila (9/5): Superb - Same as the images. Very close to browns beach. Super markets, groceries, restaurants & all service points near to the apartment. Nice view from the roof top pool. Comfortable beds.

• Kevin (5/5): very average and worst stay in the 8 hotels / homesteads we stayed in - location property not finished with lifts that were dirty . building work still going on. The rooftop pool was a massive disappointment. there were only x3 umbrellas with a maximum 6 loungers . the complex houses approx 80 rooms !. even if more weee purchased there is not the room round the pool . one of the selling points / buying points our end was the rooftop pool . this was massively disappointing - also the host insisted on payment up front in cash within 10 minutes of walking through the door - we had just got off a 12 hour flight and never saw him again even though he owed me change ( albeit a small amount )

• Thooba (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment looked very clean, nice and we had an amazing view of the beach. The host was very helpful and guided us on where to go for a quick shopping. Would also like to note that the hotel pool had a great view with a restaurant.
