• Zurie yanna (2/5): Scammer. Avoid - I’ve stayed in hundreds of homestays and always received good reviews for keeping the place clean after checkout. However, this is the first time an owner has claimed that their house was left dirty and damaged. When we first used the upstairs toilet, it was already clogged, and all the waste overflowed. I immediately informed the owner, and we stopped using that toilet afterward. After we checked out, the owner claimed the house was flooded near the fridge area, which was strange because we had checked everything before leaving and found it perfectly fine. If there really was a flood, we would have definitely noticed it. When it came to the deposit refund, the owner only returned RM200 instead of RM300, claiming it was due to “wear and tear”.which is completely untrue. We would never leave a house in such a condition. Even the candy wrapper and receipts is such a petty excuse to deduct rm100. The owner claimed it was a biohazard because a diaper was thrown outside. However, the dustbin provided was located outdoors, and before the kids changed into their swimsuits, we disposed of the diaper properly in that bin. Despite this, the owner still made the claim, as shown in the attached photo. Unfortunately, due to rushing during checkout, I forgot to record a video or do a final house walkthrough. Avoid this place at all costs At first, I just thought the stay wasn’t worth the money, but after the deposit refund issue, I strongly believe we should never book or recommend this house to anyone.
