• Sharon (9/5): - Location , cleanliness , and the overall comfortable feel to the apartment. Having to puzzle out the technology for the heating , some written instructions placed nearby would have been helpful .Although we worked it out .

• Vanessa (10/5): Comfortable, clean, homely apartment in fabulous location. - The apartment was very spacious. The apartment was furnished like a home rather than a rental property which we really appreciated. The view from the sitting room and kitchen across the park and the Firth of Forth in the distance was a bonus. This is really minor and not a complaint but merely a suggestion. Some additional lighting above/adjacent to the bathroom sink would have been appreciated.

• Malcolm (4/5): Severely frustrating and extremely annoying stranded on the street for 1/2 before negotiating access - Location and living area comfortable. Location good. Access to property extremely poor, requiring numerous phone calls to a call centre on more than one occasion to access the property and late at night as no key available until you had access to a link that was not provided to get in the door to access the area where they box was located in a weird dark cupboard in a hallway with no light. So all in all a very stressful time to try and get in! Plus I had to put in lots of info to get a “passport” to access to link which didn’t link! Also we were 3 adults staying for 3 nights at not a cheap price and got 4 teabags and dribbles of milk in plastic bags.
• SAUD (9/5): الشقة جميلة كبيرة و واسعة والموقع مميز - الشقة جميلة كبيرة و واسعة والموقع مميز 1- بالنسبة للحقائب يوجد سلالم كثيرة للصعود و لا يوجد مصعد 2- لايوجد شطاف في الحمام 3- لايوجد في الحمام نقطة كهرباء لمكينة الحلاقة 4- الدخول للمبنى سهل عن طريق اتباع ارشادات تسجيل الدخول (يتطلب اتصال انترنت واذا لم يكن معك انترنت لن تستطيع الدخول) لكن موقع استلام المفاتيح داخل المبنى غير واضح وكان علينا حل اللغز للوصول لمكان المفاتيح للدخول للشقة.(اتمنى وضع علبة المفاتيح عند الباب الخارجي للمبنى) او فيديو توضيحي للمخبأ السري.
• Maria_070 (1/5): VERY POOR SERVICE - This was the worst stay on booking for 15 years of usage the service! Pverpriced with absolutely no service. Communication with the Joivy support team Shower drain was clogged No kitchen appliances No suitable for families There are sharp nails sticking out all over the wooden floor - not safe for a crawling baby or your feet! Just a pinterest overpriced picture that doesnt mathc the reality The management company warns in advance about the need to wash dishes and take out the trash, this is ok and reminders about this hang in the kitchen. I expect that the apartment awaits me after a professional cleaning. BUT no (( There are strange stains on the carpet in the living room, dirty dishes in the kitchen (and not after one tenant, but they haven't been washed for months!). It was critical for me to cook breakfast for the family, because we have a small child and we prefer to dine out, but have breakfast in the kitchen. It's unpleasant to get dirty scratched pots and pans in old fat for a thousand pounds. There are no suitable lids for the pots. As a result, I only had a 5-sheet saucepan to boil eggs. The drain in the shower is clogged and the promised plumber did not come. Water is flooding everything around and I was late for the event because I was wiping up a puddle in the shower. The support team promised to compensate me for the cleaning fee of 50 pounds, but two weeks later there was no response from them and I have not received my money. I do not recommend anyone to contact these scammers and disgusting service.
• Yulie (6/5): Ok stay in a great location - Great location close to excellent restaurants, Old Town just a 7 min walk away. High ceilings, new bathroom. Looks better in pictures. Stained rugs are somewhat off-putting even though it was generally clean. Old and dirty washer and dryer. Occasional smell of sewage.

• Helgi (10/5): A peaceful, spaceous flat in the city center. - Fantastic location in the center of Edinburgh. The apartment has all the amenities needed for both shorter and longer stays. We had some challenges with the heating controls at first, but they were resolved by referring to the apartment's manual. Queen Street is a five-lane road, and traffic noise could be heard, but it wasn't bothersome and certainly not disturbing in the bedrooms, which are located away from the street. The questions we had during our stay were answered quickly and accurately by Joivy's top-notch professional staff. Nothing.

Notified staff but they never fixed problem. Staff needed to check dryer as no one had cleaned out the filter. Absolutely filthy. Toilet seat needed to be fixed as the bolts needed tightening.

• Burry (9/5): I can summarise my stay with one word - AMAZING!!! - Amazing… thoroughly enjoyed… great customer service, flat is amazing, a touch of luxury makes you feel special, Great location…. My wife and the little one loved the property, I can easily say that it was my favourite booking in Edinburgh… Compliments to the company and the staff who kept very high standards If I have to be very critical and picky - I would probably say the carpets need a bit of cleaning ( it is a feedback for the company to improve on) which didn’t really bother me personally but it is important for families with toddlers. Perhaps the property can do with a newer Kettle in case if the management missed it.

• Guo (10/5): Exceptional - The location is excellent, in Edinburgh New Town, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The flat was very large, much larger than expected from the pictures and beautifully decorated in a style I really liked. The living room was also large with a beautiful view from the window. (as pictures showed) The flat provided a very detailed check-in guide and neighbourhood description, as well as a link to luggage storage and pick-up service, which was very detailed and thoughtful. The flat was cleaned very well and highly recommended. The flat floor is on the 3rd floor, there is no lift and you have to walk up a lot of steps to get your luggage up. This did not detract very much from the overall experience.

• Allan (8/5): Once the technical issues were sorted out we really enjoyed our stay . - Comfortable.Had decent shower. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The apartment was warm once we got the heating working. Wifi worked well. We had problems with the heating as we were not familiar with the Nest system and the problem was compounded by it not working properly in the first place. There was confusion when we contacted the support desk . The first operator had a strong accent which made communication difficult as, not knowing what or where the (3) different Nest devices were , we found ourselves talking at cross purposes . She went off the line to get assistance and did not call back at all. The second operator was much more helpful and reassuring and she arranged for a technician to come over the following day. The manual provided was sketchy and the photos of the boiler were not the same as the boiler in our apartment. The Nest devices were not clearly defined in the manual at all. It felt like we were expected to take a course on the Nest system prior to our arrival just to get the heating on. Also, the remote control for the main bedroom was missing. It would be helpful if everything was working and checked before the clients arrive.

• Samuel (7/5): Great location in a fantastic city just need to refine the manual to be more clear. - The location is very quiet with a great view of the park. We easily walked from the apartment and to Arthur's Seat and back with no issues. Getting the keys was like being in an escape room. We had to search for them and when we called the support desk they said read the manual which had no details as to where to find them. Also they asked for the trash to be placed in the bins but they did not tell you where to find them. We looked for 30 minutes and did not find them so we just gathered it up and left it.
