• Chandra (9/5): Incredible value for money with Ramzi and Susan as an added value! - Very large apartment with confortable beds. Bathroom clean and with a large bathtub. Air conditioning in everyroom. Position is super; very friendly Neighbours and close to the station and good restaurants and luxor temple. Godd value for money. Ramzi and Susan are very helpfull and always available: an added value! Maybe a little noisy during the evening but nothing so problematic. If you are light sleepers just bring some earplugs. Regular sleepers won't need them. The kitchen is not very equipped so you can just arrange breakfasts in the house not dinners or lunchs.
• Matthew (9/5): Susan & Ramzi's guest house in Luxor - Susan & Ramzi make you very welcome from the get-go & their apartments are comfortable & clean & located just off the busy Television street where you'll find great eateries. Where the hotel is located it's quiet (for Egypt) & convenient for all the sites as well as the train& bus stations. The sink was awkwardly placed in the ensuite but everything else was great.
• Timothy (10/5): A hidden gem. - Very nice facility. A hidden. Gem. Host went above and beyond. Walked us to grocery store. Difficult to find. Call or text to get directions Ifor driver. Some might be worried about the appearance of the neighborhood, but we walked at all hours with no trouble. Many locals smiled and greeted us.

• ffariwar (4/5): Wouldn't recommend for solo travellers. Better for couples, families or groups of friends. - The host is very nice and helpful. He picked me up from the train station to take to the accommodation free of charge. He also arranged for a taxi to take me to the bus station although I think the taxi charge was quite high. The locationvery difficult to find even with the Google map. When I organised a tour, the tour driver had difficulty finding the guest house so I had to go and wait outside a nearby hotel 2 street from the guest house. All the sockets are like UK ones with 3 holes. Only the living room.one I could use the 2 pin plug. So even though it was late I went out and went from shop to shop to fine a plug with 3 pin so I could charge my phone next to the bed. Then there was no hand-wash in the bathroom. Another thing there is no clothes rain in the wardrobe in the master bedroom. So I had to take my clothes to the 2nd bedroom. Then I realised there are no hangers. There were no tea bags in the kitchen or kitchen towel. Although after my request for wayer, tea bags، hand-wash, and hangers the host provided them. However, there are the basic things you need as soon as arrive in a new accommodation. You shouldn't have to ask for them. Also, no bin in the bathroom. No hooks in bathroom to hang a towel.

• EIRINI (10/5): ΤΟ ΚΑΛΥΤΕΡΟ ΜΕΡΟΣ ΔΙΑΜΟΝΗΣ ΣΤΟ ΛΟΥΞΟΡ. ΤΟ ΣΥΝΙΣΤΩ ΑΝΕΠΙΦΥΛΑΚΤΑ. - Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ μεγάλο και καθαρό. Είχε δύο μπάνια. Αυτό όμως που έκανε την διαφορά είναι ο ιδιοκτήτης, ο κύριος Ramzi! Είναι εξαιρετικός άνθρωπος, γλυκός και ευγενικός. Στην πρώτη κιόλας συνάντηση μας πρόσφερε φράουλες και καλούδια της Αιγύπτου. Μας υποσχέθηκε να μας βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστούμε κατά την εφταήμερη διαμονή μας στο Λούξορ, όπως και έκανε. Μας κανόνισε βαρκάδα στο Νείλο (feluka) και μεταφορά στα διάφορα μέρη ιστορικού ενδιαφέροντος με ιδιωτικούς οδηγούς με μεγάλη ασφάλεια και στην ώρα τους. Άριστη εξυπηρέτηση, ζεστασιά και ωραία ενέργεια! Είναι σίγουρο ότι θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά και ξανά!!!
• Emma (10/5): - Veldig imøtekommende og hyggelige verter. Susan og Ramzy er veldig hjelpsomme og hjelper til uansett hva det måtte være. Rommene var romslige og renslige. Veldig praktisk med egen vaskemaskin. Var enkelt å komme seg dit fra buss/togstasjon. Uber fant greit fram og det var i grei avstand til de fleste attraksjoner. Litt mye bråk, men dette gjelder store deler av Luxor. Kan være lurt å ha med egen adapter til stikkontaktene siden de fleste stikkontaktene ikke er europeiske.

• IOANNA (7/5): - Μεγάλο διαμέρισμα. Υπάρχει Κοντά σούπερ μάρκετ, φαγητό,καφε. Στο κεντρικό δρόμο θα βρείτε ταξί και λεωφορεία. . Περιοχή πολύ βρώμικη. Μακριά απο αξιοθέατα .και το Νείλο. Ηχομόνωση ανύπαρκτη. Πολύ θόρυβο από το δρόμο. Πολύ κακό ίντερνετ.
• Syed (9/5): Nice apartment, clean and fully equipped. - The apartment is nice and clean, also the owner is very nice and kind. all basic necessities are there in apartment, internet is good, complete kitchen including washing machine and stove etc. however i find it a bit loud, apartment is not really sound proof and street noise from motorcycle etc was coming in to the apartment which at times would disturb sleep. a bit noise may be it has nothing to do with apartment itself , because those motorcycles on street are very loud however it was effecting ourself at times. please add a picture or a diagram/manual map to ur place, google maps is not really actual in this area and often take taxi drivers in to a closed end street.
• Colin (6/5): Good value for Luxor if you prefer being away from touristy areas and don't plan on cooking - Location is good, close to vibrant streets but hidden back in a quiet spot. Neighborhood may look slightly shady at first, but we had no issue even walking at night. Promenade is 20 mins walking away Main bedroom was in the back, so away from street noises Not touristy so no one tries to constantly sell you something or a ride The is a water filter in the kitchen (but the water will still taste earthy) Great local restaurants nearby We had the apartment on 1st floor : - Kitchen has very minimal set of utensils and plates (barely enough for 2 ppl, only 1 pan no pots despite having an oven) - Next to a mosque, and road so it can be noisy during the day - At night there is some appliance starting and stopping constantly nearby the main bedroom that is annoying, bring ear plugs - Bed (and couch) are very firm (pro or con depending on what you like) - The entrance of the apartment is in the hall right at the entrance of the building , so you hear a lot of passage I would recommend getting an apartment higher up in the building and not planning on cooking much
• Fernando (10/5): This place is perfect for long and short stayings. Ramzi was so helpfull and find for us many things that we ask. If you - All was perfect: the staff, the flat, the bed was so confortable. Nothing to say. All was perfect for us
• Steven (10/5): - Owner is wonderful, friendly, and just next door, he even provided his phone number in case balloon ride pick up couldn't find the place (for a 04.30 pick up), but they found it ok. Rooms are even bigger than they appear in photos, and the ceilings are amazing, we stayed in apartment 4. For me, the location was perfect, others will disagree, it depends what type of tourist you are, whenever we went out the locals were friendly and didn't hassle us, the local restaurants (on television road) were for locals, and we're fantastic and cheap, and always tried to help us when we didn't understand the menu. (Google translate helps as well). The best thing for me was the view from the 3 balconies, real local life happening all around you, nothing put on for tourists, and nothing hidden, wild ferrets and cats searching for food, fruit sellers on their donkey driven carts, the awful brickwork of the building opposite, the call to prayer all around you, and a local family owned business working all hours (including children) to get laundry done for the big hotels, it's a sample of real local life that tourists normally miss. We loved our stay and only wish it could have been longer. We enjoyed everything, but here's a couple of things to consider. Some tourists would say the view from the room was dirty and noisy, to them I'd say stay away from this apartment, you're going to find enough to complain about in Egypt without adding to it. Google maps is really helpful, but does have a couple of road errors, the east-west road (linking to the main road from train station) does go all the way to the apartment, it doesn't look like it does on Google maps, also, the small road going south to television road is blocked, so, just walk down it, turn right, then turn left to get to television road (or turn left then right). We also had trouble booking some things online that offered a pick up, they only had a drop down list of hotels, and this place wasn't on there (be careful, there's also a Susanna Hotel), but other companies allowed you to manually enter the address.
• Sokol (1/5): Not safe to stay - Nothing I booked for 8 days but after 2 days i left the hotel because the rooms are misareable. The electricity cut off many times, the sheets were dirty, the area was not safe. On the middnight the owner knoked on my door and scared me. Never again.

• Cinzia (10/5): La permanenza è stata davvero deliziosa grazie all’accoglienza, le attenzioni e l’immensa ospitalità e disponibilità di - L’appartamento è spazioso e confortevole, pulito, accogliente, caldo. Ramzy e Susan ti fanno sentire a casa, accolti come in famiglia. Sono davvero fantastici, i migliori host incontrati in Egitto! La zona non è pulitissima ma è così ovunque, tuttavia come ci aveva detto Ramzy è sicura e nessuno ci ha mai infastidito anzi. L’insonorizzazione della camera da letto potrebbe essere migliorata poiché si sente molto il rumore dalla strada ma è normale e molto consueto in Egitto. Personalmente con tappi per le orecchie ho dormito abbastanza bene.

• Zibya (10/5): Best place to stay in luxor - The hospitality was out of this world. Ramzi and Raphia went out of their way to assist us. Their warmth, kindness and care made leaving very heartsore. The location is excellent with shops and supermarkets walking distance. Taxis were accessible. The unit was so spacious and clean. The area was safe and peaceful even though close to main road. I should have stayed longer.

• Sergei Ashikhmin (3/5): - Были проблемы с чистотой, один из туалетов в квартире был грязный. Договорились с хозяином насчет завтрака, в итоге на следующий день его просто не принесли. С оборудованием на кухне были проблемы, у газовой плиты зачем-то оторвана вилка, в итоге пришлось искать по соседним магазинам зажигалку, чтобы разжечь плиту. Было непросто найти само здание, т.к. пешие маршруты, которые прокладывает гугл по окрестным улочкам, часто утыкаются в непроходимую стену. Ну и сам район не выглядит безопасным
• Claudia (6/5): Si per la posizione, no per comfort e pulizia. - Gli host sono molto gentili e sono stati molto ospitali quando abbiamo chiesto di poter lasciare i nostri bagagli. Check out alle 12:00 molto comodo. Ha un'altra stanza con due letti, per una famiglia ha un buon prezzo ed é in centro ma, proprio perché ha un prezzo "basso" non potete avere pretese. La doccia non funzionava, lo scaldino era rotto, la levetta non si muoveva e l'acqua usciva fredda. Unica alternativa era la vasca, ma impossibile lavarsi senza fare un disastro. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere altre lenzuola (per non stare a diretto contatto con la coperta, erano ingiallite) perché in Egitto usano un solo lenzuolo che, senza angoli, copre a malapena il materasso. Le nostre lenzuola erano piene di fronzoli in punti in cui dovevi mettere la faccia. Oltre ai cuscini normali pieni di fronzoli e con le federe corte c'era un cuscino da 2 metri che aveva una federa che non lo copriva assolutamente. Il materasso era sporco e idem i cuscini. C'erano chiazze. La coperta, su cui saremmo dovuti stare a diretto contatto durante la notte era super impolverata. La cucina sembra sopravvissuta a un incendio della peggior specie. É ossidata e piena di... non so cosa siano se chiazze di non so cosa . Ci sono chiazze anche nel tavolino fronte divani e le prese sono inglesi quindi se non hai gli adattatori non puoi attaccare nulla. Ci hanno fornito un adattatore mezzo bruciato e ricoperto dalla plastica per bruciare nel sonno probabilmente. É un buon alloggio per la posizione e per il fatto che il check out é fino alle 12 e potete lasciare i bagagli in una casa dedicata non dovete avere pretese, non dovete essere schizzinosi, il quartiere é una discarica ed é brutto girarci di notte.

• Stephan (8/5): Very spacious and clean appartment in a quiet location just 15 minutes away from Luxor Temple. - I loved the location of this property, it was away (but still pretty close) to a busy street and it was super quiet. It was just 15-20 minutes walk away to Luxor Temple and a very short taxi drive to Karnak Temple. The host was super friendly and very accomodating. There is a big supermarket nearby and plenty of local restaurants to choose from. If you prefer to cook your own meals, there is a complete kitchen with gaz stove and a washing machine. The appartement was super roomy and very clean also in a very well maintained appartment complex. A couple things, the most obvious one for me was the absence of windows which made the appartment pitch black dark without the lights open. Also the bed’s mattress was a little too firm for my comfort.
• Tancrède (10/5): I highly recommend this stay - The guesthouse, run by a charming couple, is in a fairly quiet area of Luxor, but still close to the main tourist attractions. The rooms are as described, large and well equipped. Special mention to Ramzi, whose kindness and helpfulness made my stay even more enjoyable! I highly recommend this stay Nothing :)
• Leonardo (9/5): Totally recommended. - I really like the apartment. It has all that you need, including the wash machine for your clothes. Ramzi was very kind and help me a lot. I’m happy with my stay there. The only inconvenience I had was with the drivers that had all of them issues to find the place.
• Borchers (8/5): Very much recommended, if you like to travel and stay individually. - Susan's Guest House lays in the midst of a local residential area. They offer individual, spaceous appartments equipped with kitchen, bedroom, living rooms, two bathrooms, fridge, washing machine and oh cause AC. Ramzy, our host, was very friendly and super helpful. He Providers us with fresh fruits and ingredients for the breakfast (which was included in our booking via booking. com), and which we prefered to prepare ourselves. We very much enjoyed our stay in Susan's Guest House in the local quarter, sometimes quiet, sometimes busy with school children and locals doing their businesses. Just a comment: Some hooks would be helpful to hang clothes etc. in the bathroom and/or bedroom.
• Oleksandr (10/5): Exceptional - Ramzi (the host) is exceptional. Met us at the station and brought to the location. He was in contact all the time answering any questions or helping with other things like groceries. Gave us a small evening city tour and did organise sightseeing tours we needed. He's also a very nice person overall. The breakfast Ramzi is making himself is very tasty. Location isn't the best - taxi drivers have issues finding it
• Carina (10/5): The best place to stay in Luxor - I have only good things to say about this place. When I arrived to Luxor, Ramzy picked me up and took me to the appartment. The flat where I stayed was clean and beautiful. Ramzi was the best host. He helped me by showing the neighbourhood. Via Ramzy it's also easy to book guides and hotair balloon experience. Also the breakfast Ramzy made was delucious. His shoushaka was much better than the one I tried in a cafe. At the rooftop they are still doing construction-work for an upcoming cafe. But I went there and saw a beautiful sunset. The neighbourhood where the appartment is, felt safe for a solo female traveler. Even after dark I could walk the streets safely alone. The appartment is very close to both train- and Go bus -stations. Also close to Luxor temple and river Nile. Next time I come to Luxor I will stay here again.
• Pedro (10/5): Great place to stay with great value for money - Everything. Very spacious apartment that the owner takes good care of and with all the necessary facilities. The owner is also very kind. Do not be scared of the neighborhood as it is working class and everybody is very friendly!
• Dr_deep (7/5): Basic place for minimal needs - Host Ramzy was very friendly, he met us at train station to lead us to the house house even though our bus was delayed 2 hours. He helped us with tours which was nice though the tour company tried to hustle us with lot of side business and delayed the main attractions to the end and took to local business in the beginning. Breakfast was really nice especially the 2nd day. He accommodated to our vegetarian needs. He even made early breakfast for us on the second day to adjust to our tour. Location is almost central except when the local taxi cannot find it. Google maps is very wrong so in a way you need Ramzy's help or like us walk to the main road and book your in drive taxi. Also if you have woman with you walking in those streets isn't nice as even the kids want whistle and tease you along with some teenagers on those streets on motor bikes going round. It's very bad behaviours there though it's not up to host but you'll have to deal with it on your way. All the plug points in our apartment were modified to US outlet so we were bit surprised but I found 2 adaptors in kitchen etc and brought it to bedroom for use and we were ok. Shower was clogging Very quickly and shower head needs replacement because it sprinkled water bit to various sides but we could manage.
• Jiaying (10/5): Amazing place to stay, would love to go back again - The place was spacious with very nice hot water. There was also filtered drinking water installed. Location was around 10-15 mins walk to Luxor Temple and the Nile river. But above all, Ramzy, the host, was amazing, he even picked me up from the bus station and allowed me to check in early/check out late. He also prepared a delicious Egyptian breakfast for me. The location is a bit difficult to find as there's no signboard. But it's manageable.
• Calvin (10/5): Ramzy was an AMAZING host and would 100% book again! - Ramzy honestly made this stay the best on my entire trip throughout all of Egypt. His hospitality was beyond 5 stars. He personally picked me up from the bus station and helped me coordinate the best priced tours/rides out of Luxor. He personally showed me around the city and took me across the river to help make sure I wasn't taken advantaged of by locals trying to take advantage of tourists. I made a lifelong friend at this stay. Location was GREAT. Right in the heart of where the LOCALS live/work. I prefer to stay away from tourist areas when I travel and this was PERFECT. Cars/guides had no trouble picking me up. Walking distance to a gym/Television street/Luxor Temple. Nothing. It was an amazing stay!
