Guest Reviews
- Rick (9/5): Great, characterful cottage - Lovely cottage, in an area of North Norfolk we really like, even in peak holiday season, it doesn't feel overrun. Cottage has been beautifully updated and appointed. Neighbours were friendly, and it is a very quiet and picturesque village and surrounds. Some nice walks from the cottage, including to the beach (1/2 hr walk) and from there a coastal path all the way to Sheringham. A few things that could be added - eg there was a BBQ, but we couldn't find any BBQ tongs or implements, maybe some more comfortable outdoor furniture would be nice, but mostly it was a very well appointed cottage, so don't want to sound negative. Also, the overhead shower - we could never get it more than lukewarm - an issue with the mixer mechanism, as the hot water throughout the house was piping hot.
Lastly, we had quite a few wasps upstairs, but we couldn't work out where they were getting in. Assume there is a nest somewhere in the roof vicinity. Hardly the owners fault, but maybe worth further investigation. FYI.
- Tina (6/5): Gem of a Village
OK - Village is lovely. Walks from the door. Within driving distance of sights, shopping. Cottage spacious and well equipped although a little on the dark side, typical cottage. We found the cottage difficult to locate. Due to overgrown garden we were not able to enjoy late afternoon/eve sun, furniture required hosing down. Parking space limited.
