A serene escape from the helter-skelter, yet just a short stroll to the beach, shops, ATMs, the bus stand, and lively cafes and restaurants. The hosts were wonderful—we loved our stay! As repeat guests, we wholeheartedly recommend this gem in Arambol.

• Dave (10/5): Great Place!!!! - The property is very neat and clean.. Although it was just one night it was very comfortable... Much needed rest after travelling for long 18 hours. • Huston (8/5): Very good - The apartment was very nice. Spacious and clean. Deep, the manager, was very accommodating and I extended my stay multiple times. Location actually quite good for a longer stay. Easy to reach the main road and up and away from the noise of the beach. Quiet but for the dogs at night. I did have constant problems with the wifi and had I needed it for work, would have been a real issue. The bedding also could be much improved. As well as having some screens on the windows. There is only AC in the bedroom. If you crank the AC during the day with the bedroom door open, it does okay at cooling the rest of the apt. Thanks!
• Kevin (8/5): Very good - Location is great, in a quiet neighborhood about 20min walk / 5min drive to Arambol beach. Very recommended to rent a scooter though (you can do that very easily when you arrive). Comfortable bed. Very spacious. Kitchen is a big plus if you're on a diet like me. Good fans. Host is nice and helpful. Equipment was very minimal, especially the kitchen. I had trouble reaching out the host on the last day. No kind of moskito protection in the room, putting a little incense works well.

• Ramita (10/5): In fact, it is the best place to stay in Arambol! - The accomodation is very charming and quiet, so you can relax away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are generous and split spacious, ideally equipped - hot water, high speed internet, everything in perfect order, very clean and comfortable. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful! Indeed nothing

• Alexey (9/5): Good guesthouse with spacious apartments. - Staying here for the second time, and I still think it's the best guesthouse in Arambol because: Clean and spacious apartments with a balcony and a great view Great location, not too far from the main road but far enough to avoid most of the noise Friendly hosts. There is still some noise - you can hear dogs, crows, and occasional music in the evening coming from the Arambol shacks. However, this is to be expected if you choose to stay in Arambol. If you're looking for a quiet place, consider booking something farther away from the busy areas.

• Ikue (9/5): Comfortable stay - Comfy room with sufficient facility. Located in quiet and calm area. Felt a lot of relief after long travel to Arambol beach. Bit far from busy/convenient area. It takes 15mins by walk to the main street and 20mins to the beach.

• Ajay (9/5): A comfortable, spacious apartment with dining, bed room, drawing room and kitchen - The property is slightly away from the main beach area but easily navigable if you have a vehicle. Being slightly away makes this place quiet and away from the crowd. I had a very sound sleep at night. The apartment was spacious, cosy and neat and clean! The owner was very courteous and concerned about anything that could have been my query or concern. Excellent host! Honestly, I was a bit concerned while coming back late at night from Arambol beach as the property is located slightly inside a street off the main road and I could spot some stray dogs in the street but the dogs were friendly and comfortable with tourists walking down the lane round the clock and didn't bother me at all. Later the owner also confirmed they don't disturb the tourists. For daily shopping, you need to come out from the street to the main road but just half a kilometre and hence not much of a problem!

Very helpful owner who was polite friendly and happy to assist with taxis etc Comfortable bed. No toilet paper . The room was very clean but needed airing easily rectified once doors were opened. Two extra pillows would be nice and a mattress protector ( the easily washable type) would ensure that the mattress would not get contaminated and stay fresh if changed regularly . Also a top sheet.This is not a complaint as the mattress was clean.

Location is not perfect if you don't have motobike (10-15 min to the beach by foot), but if you rent motobike ( and motobike is must have here in Arambol) is perfect

• Fiona (7/5): Ended up leaving this property to stay somewhere else. - Building is nice, the apartment is very spacious inside with decent wooded furniture, and it is relatively clean (for India). Good wifi. - apartment is HOTTER inside (36 degrees) than outside and doesn't cool down in evenings. - No screens on the window so lots of mosquitos (like a dozen bites each night) - Lacking basic provisions: toilet paper, handsoap, garbage bag, water filter, spatulas and clean pots - This cannot be helped, but there was a pack of dogs that barked every night (5 nights in a row) at 2am which was impossible to sleep through - host over-communicates which is time-consuming - comfort was minimal: pillows on bed were very thin, bed had indents, linnen/towels poor quality, couch/chairs uncomfortable.

It is more about the location. Despite the fact that it is located far from the noisy crowded places , at night group of dog can star to bark for hour. It happened to us twice during all our stay.

Location is a bit remote from the beach but if you have a bike / don’t mind to walk - it’s fine. Mosquito nets / anti mosquito fumigator would be beneficial to have. As per description, there’s no AC in the rooms (but there’re fans), so might be a bit uncomfortable during hot nights.

The owner is very attentive and helps with everything you need, despite the power cuts in Arambol, Deep installed a generator for the WiFi, so you can work peacefully from the apartment. I have been there twice before as well with my girlfriend and stayed for over 6 months together. And the hosts Daya and his family has treated us like nothing less than a family. You get access to full fledged kitchen as well where you can cook on your own food. The privacy is superb. And the place is not far from the beach as well. Cleanliness maintenance is top notch. And they even try to fulfill any special requests that you have. The wifi works without any issues. So if you are planning a stay cation in Goa where you need to continue your work and yet enjoy the chill of doing it on a beach, don't think twice and just go for Pappa's Guest House. To be very honest, this is the best place with even better people running the place. Cheers! Absolutely nothing to not like about this place.
