Stephen (4/5): One week stay at Amisa Residential Apartments - Good view from the balcony. The swimming pool was clean & a good size. Kitchenette was sufficient for basic cooking. The apartment was a reasonable size for 2 people. Stayed for 7 nights. This is a privately owned residence, not a hotel. No daily room cleaning / service, & only 2, old, bath towels supplied. For the last 2 days, these towels were needed to dry the apartment floor of water leaking from the air-conditioning unit. Zero closet / hanging space for clothes. No vanity or shelving in bathroom for soap / toiletries, & not enough towel hanging racks. Water goes cold & no hot water at all sometimes, for no apparent reason. Netflix only available if you have your own account registered in the Phillipines to log in with. Snacks & beverages by the pool are not permitted, & pool towels are NOT supplied. There are no restaurants / eating facilities at the complex. The Dusit Thani Hotel is next door, but their food & drinks are expensive. Transport is needed to reach other restaurants. No public beaches are available to swim at. They are all privately owned. The closest beach is at The Dusit Thani & costs 1000 peso daily to access for short-term tennants. The caretaker visited the apartment & saw that I had removed the glass panel from the top of the portable induction cooktop for cleaning (it simply lifted off). The cooktop was old & filthy. The caretaker reported it as damaged & the apartment owner wanted to charge me to replace the cooktop.
