Guest Reviews
- Jean (4/5): Compared to our previous rental of a summer house, this was a huge disappointment. Not idyllic at all - Location was nice, very quiet environment.
Very friendly neighbour, as the information provided by the rental company was very limited.
Ameneties were ok (enough cutlery, glasses, plates, … The place was old in all aspects: old furniture (although beds were small but ok), old cooking installation with the glass of the oven stuck in place with duck tape, the house was smelly as it had certainly it been opened or cleaned in the last months (misty / stale smell, which crept in all our clothes); plenty of moths in the house, …
Pillows not very clean (more beige than white)
Very expensive bed linen (I could have bought this kind of linen for less money).
Very expensive electricity (nearly 1 euro per kWh), especially when the appliances are all old and consume lots of energy (old boiler, old cooking appliance, …).
Barbecue disgusting: still food from previous user.
The water boiler was disgusting and full of scale; we did not use it: gross.
The registration process for the electricity was hard to find in the system; call center (the only person we spoke to) was difficult to get hold of and not very friendly.
