• Oleksiy (10/5): The perfect apartmen for a week stay in Palermo - We were fortunate to secure this place for our week in Palermo. The property sits perfectly near the historic center and a lively restaurant area, with a large supermarket just a five-minute walk away. The apartment occupies an interesting house, which gave the layout a unique and appealing character that we greatly enjoyed. Everything inside is thoughtfully designed to feel cozy and welcoming. The beds are comfortable. The AC works fine. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for a week (or longer) stay. The host was kind and hospitable. Thank you for our wonderful week in Palermo!

• Giorgia (10/5): - L'appartamento si presenta così come in foto, anzi dal vivo è ancora più bello! Modernamente arredato e munito di tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari. Per l'organizzazione prima del nostro arrivo abbiamo parlato con Cristina che in maniera molto disponibile ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande. Arrivati invece siamo stati accolti da Gloria che è stata una host eccezionale, gentile, cordiale e presente per ogni necessità. I punti di forza dell'appartamento sono sicuramente la posizione (quasi tutto è raggiungibile a piedi) e la pulizia. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra.
• Clindamycin (10/5): Everything advertised, will work, and may well exceed your expectations. - I stayed at Gloria’s apartment in old town Palermo from 11 August to 13 August in 2025. Palermo was my first stop. My flight from LHR to PMO landed around 6:30 pm, meaning arrival to city was past 8:00 pm. Throughout the arrival process, Gloria has been understanding and supportive. When I arrived, she’d already been waiting at the apartment wearing a welcoming smile. The apartment was spacious, with a separate kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Every visible part of the place was squeaky-clean. In anticipation of my needs, she’d refrigerated a 1.5 L bottled water in the fridge, fruits, bread, jam and Nutella on the kitchen counter for me. As I entered the place, I realised that she’d gone there early, to leave the AC on so it’d be cool by the time I arrived. Cabinets and drawers were well organised with plates, bowls, and cutleries. There were chopsticks. Next to the door lied a big umbrella. Washing machine, detergent and fabric softeners, brand-new roll of kitchen paper, all the condiments you may need… Whatever your needs may be, chances are, you will find them in the apartment, not just in “useable” condition, but quality, welcoming condition. I have download speed at about 100 MB/s, and full signal coverage in every corner of the place. There is study table in the living room, stocked with pen, paper, travel guides to Sicily, you name it. I had quiet undisturbed sleep throughout my stay. It was a living space organised with love. I am writing this review near the end of my Sicily journey, which saw me visiting Trapani, Messina, Taormina, Giardini, and Catania. What impressed me the most about this place, was that while no major problem happened at my other accommodations, every place I stayed at, something were left wanting, but not at La Maison Du Centre. Probably because no compromises were made by Gloria: comfort and convenience, quietly and eloquently supplied. I will be back, and hope I meet Gloria again some day.

• Alex (10/5): Perfect Palermo Stay – Central, Spacious, and Wonderfully Hosted - We stayed at La Maison Du Centre for five nights of vacation and couldn’t have asked for a better base in Palermo. The apartment was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, basically a calm, cozy space to return to after exploring the city. It had everything we needed, and we cooked in the kitchen daily. When we noticed a few breakfast bowls were missing, Gloria responded instantly and brought them over. Just one example of how thoughtful and helpful she was throughout our stay. The location is ideal: central enough that we could walk to most of the sights, yet tucked into a quiet alley that made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Yes, you might occasionally hear people passing by due to the acoustics of the alley, but it was never a disturbance, it was more like a subtle reminder that you’re in the heart of a vibrant city. We especially appreciated Gloria’s help with storing our luggage - both when we arrived early and again on our last day. She was always reachable, friendly, and full of great recommendations. Nearby, we discovered a lovely mix of restaurants, a supermarket just around the corner, and a creative, alternative district with art shops and live music on Sundays. The Piazza Marina flea market was also a great weekend highlight. All in all, this was a perfect stay. We’d absolutely come back and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Palermo.

• Marlene (9/5): Cute apartment in the most lively neighborhood!! - The apartment's location is amazing! Right in the middle of the vibrant and cool Kalsa quarter, a few minutes from the best bars and restaurants, but still very calm because it's in a cute little Vicolo nearby ! The place is decorated and has everything you need! A big + : the owner is very nice, she welcomed us very warmly and gave us many tips!! All in all : go there it's great! The sunlight doesn't come in a lot , but when you're out during the day it's not really a problem :)
• Jan (10/5): Perfect stay - Lovely apartment newly renovated to a high standard. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable in every way. Great cookware for preparing meals. Extremely quiet but very central. Close to the centre and in a well serviced area. Gloria was flexible with entry times. I’d choose this property again without hesitation. This was our 3rd stay in Palermo, and by far the best.
• Robert (10/5): Exceptional - I had an excellent 9 day stay at La Maison Du Centre. Gloria was an extremely kind and responsive host. The apartment was particularly good for me as a remote worker. The wifi worked perfectly for video calls (speed test showed about 350MBPS), had a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a bunch of other amenities you would typically find in a nice hotel. Everything in the apartment seemed very well cared for. In addition to being close to Via Vittorio Emanuele, there’s also a full supermarket nearby. While still close to some of the lively areas of Palermo, the apartment is very quite as it's on a small side street.

Gloria has thought of everything, takes pride in her home! - From breakfast treats to wonderfully scented linens, Gloria has gone above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay… beyond what most hotels offer and for a good value. Speaking from the experience of a hospitality executive, one whose family has rented their homes for many years.
• Anna (10/5): Beautiful, big flat in a wonderful area - The flat was perfectly located in a wonderful and also very quiet area. You can reach all the main sights as well as the train station and port by foot. There are many small streets with beautiful restaurants, bars and cafes and the bigger more bustling streets are also not far away. It takes you only two buses to reach mondello beach. We picked Palermo as a starting point for several day trips, so while we were often out of the town, the location of the flat enabled us to experience one of the city's nicest areas once we got back from our day's travels.
• F (10/5): Great apartment - Apartment bigger than expected with all required amenities. Quiet area but still close to restaurants, the main street and the marina. Lidl supermarket within a 5 minute walk. Host welcomed us with treats for our stay, she was very responsive to any questions I had. Would recommend.
