Guest Reviews
- Manie (9/5): - Apart from the serenity and tranquility needed for a quick getaway, Shawn has an amazing collection of vintage items ranging from cars to clocks.
- Tlangi (10/5): This a perfect glamping escape , my wife and I enjoy camping and this was a perfect experience especially that we went o - It’s clean , quiet and calming exactly what we were looking for as a break away from the city. Nothing.
- Fortunate (8/5): Satisfying - The host is very friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to get away from the noise and busyness of the city. There’s fury babies that keep you company and they are well mannered. I’m worried about the solar not heating up in winter. The water was not really hot but otherwise lovely place.
- Lerato (10/5): - A breathe of fresh air, it’s a perfect getaway from the city rush while in the city. Once you enter the gate you instantly feel like you’re in the bushes. The host was amazing and the experience was phenomenal.
- Masuku (9/5): - Vintage feel
- Hoosen (8/5): - It was clean and very relaxing, the dogs were so well behaved and it's kid friendly no noise just serenity 😊 The battery for the solar wasn't charging fast enough hence most nights there was no power

- Buthelezi (10/5): - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Experience — A Place That Truly Stole My Heart
My recent visit to this place was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by an atmosphere that felt both warm and inspiring. The environment was beautifully maintained, creating the perfect balance between comfort and elegance.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was memorable, always friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. It’s rare to find such dedication and professionalism paired with such sincere kindness.
The overall ambiance was peaceful yet vibrant, making it the ideal setting whether you're looking to relax, explore, or simply enjoy the moment. Every detail seemed carefully thought out, from the layout to the smallest finishing touches, which made the entire experience feel truly special.
I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my return. This is not just a place you visit, it’s a place you experience, and one that stays with you long after you leave. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for something truly remarkable.
An absolute gem. ✨ Nothing to complain about
- Bredenkamp (3/5): - We had privacy and the area has a nyce view We booked for 3 collegues for a business trip clearly indicated through the booking, and when we got there it was not as expected, we ended up sharing a bed, and was expected to pay more after we made a booking to acvomodate for extra rooms
- Claire (9/5): Beautiful, magical little place to take a break from city life. - The whole place is a magical collection of antiques and quirkyness. It might be in the city, but it has a completely otherworldly charm to it. And sleeping in a caravan is lots of fun! I can't say there was anything we didn't like. Really special experience all round.
- Amoré (10/5): Lovely spot with a nice vibe and awesome weekend getaway not far from home - We enjoyed the camping experience. The caravan is well equipped and we liked the braai and the fireplace. The fridge didn't work
- Teko (10/5): Really enjoyed my weekend, was very quiet and private… real value for money. - Serene, safe and very clean. Nothing
- Doctor (9/5): -
- Stanton (8/5): Enjoyable stay, friendly host and accommodating staff. We had a very relaxing evening - Awesome glamping experience, sufficient fire wood provided, lovely guesthouse with loads of vintage items to view that was extremely interesting. The caravan was very comfortable, bedding was clean and neat. Bathroom light didn't work, overall the caravan was very comfortable, but nooks and crannies could've been a bit cleaner.
- Bulelwa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vusani (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (10/5): Fantastic, because the entire family enjoyed their stay to the fullest - The location, environment, hospitality, welcome was beyond our expectation. This is a gem in JOburg North and onlz a few minutes from our home. We'll be back for more very soon. Nothing to add here
- Ipfani (10/5): Exceptional - True definition of a hidden gem
- Pahthutshedzo (8/5): It was a spontaneous, last-minute decision to book this place, and it exceeded all expectations. Our stay was incredibly -
- Lintle (10/5): Relaxing - I loved how peaceful and private the property was. It was more than I expected and a great escape from the city. The only thing was the network that was on and off but it was not a big deal.
- Mogale (8/5): Very good - If you are a nature person and want a piece and quite away from the fast life. This place gives you exactly that. I loved it.
- Shabangu (8/5): Very good -
- Kamogelo (9/5): Superb -
- Human (9/5): Stepping back in time weekend - The host was extreamly accommodating, he gave us n tour of the "museum" gu3sthouse, and wow!!
So may things to see and detail in his collections.
The caravan setup was fantastic, great view over the little dam that is bursting with birds... The WiFi dont extend to the caravan... but that just gives more of that rustic feeling
- Nkuna (6/5): Considering it was my 1st time glamping…Not so bad - Idea glamping experience The lack of hot water even though there was a solar geyser
- Tjale (10/5): Exceptional - If you wanna go somewhere peaceful it's the place to be
- Lacock (10/5): Gorgeous Relaxing Place - The whole atmosphere is so relaxing and private every minute spent at this location is what the soul needs. So many places to go see in surrounding areas as well as the wonderful museum.
