Guest Reviews
- SimonZoloiev (10/5): An exceptional and idyllic stay in the heart of Suffolk - Although I arrived very late in the evening, I was warmly greeted in person by the property owner. Rather than the usual quick handover of keys, he kindly gave me a short tour of the property and made sure I had all the information I might need for a comfortable stay. To my surprise, he even offered me a cup of tea and brought it to my door himself—a thoughtful gesture that immediately made me feel welcome. On the kitchen counter, I was delighted to find a couple of bottles of beer, a homemade lemon drizzle cake, and a bag of sweets, all of which added such a personal touch. The hospitality of the hosts, combined with the peaceful surroundings, charming setting, and the character of the unique building, made for a truly memorable experience. There was really nothing I didn’t enjoy about my time at The Butler’s Pantry. The only thing worth noting is that the accommodation is accessed by a set of fairly steep steps, which might be a consideration for some guests. However, the hosts also offer alternative accommodations on the same property that are more easily accessible, so this is by no means a drawback.
