Very very bad experience at this stay not recommended for family at all.

Suraj (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were small but very cozy. The duplex setup is great. The location is very good as it is near the beaches. The hosts were very good and very very helpful. And more importantly, it was very budget friendly. It could have been a little more clean but can be ignored given the cost.

John (1/5): Dont trust blindly on advance booking - I am really upset about how i was treated firstly manager named Ajith said that booking won't work you need to pay some advance to confirm your booking.I personally called and checked how much amount was required after which he mentioned any amount then i paid 690 as token he said it is confirmed after which he mentioned it confirmed you need not worry .On the day some other hotel called and said le escape called us you need to stay with us we are tie up and due to our bus reaching late we reached around 9pm for which both the hotels didnt pick our called we were completely scared as what can be done for which bala s response is rooms got booked it not his fault the other persons fault both started blaming each and we were on the road searching for room and only option just take our advance back for which he happily gave i m very sure he must have for few extra money readily gave the room. Being treated like a dog being pushed to one hotel to another despite booking from booking.com and advance booking amount being paid there is no security.People who are new to Auroville please be mindful before booking as this person can complete cheat and say its not his fault despite booking and paying advance 2 weeks prior I have all screenshot and message of how he handled the situation very scared and completely broken.
