• Michael (10/5): - Nice gated and fenced private property in a good location for day trips. Great views of Isla Mujeres, the private beach is small but SLS Hotel beach is right next door 1min walk along the water. Punta Sam ferry dock is adjacent to the property (5 min walk). This is where you can get on the catamarans or party boats to Isla or take the cargo ferry to Isla. There is a GO Mart, Dominos Pizza and Subway within a 5min walk as well. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, shower and beach towels etc. Staff on the property were great, very quiet. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend having a car since there aren't any restaurants within walking distance.

• Rebecca (10/5): This is a lovely, quiet and and spacious oasis away from the noise of the hotel zone. - Our host Claudia gave us early access to accommodate our flight. And she and her staff respond immediately and are at your service when you need them. There could have been more markings for the location of the property itself. A sign at the main gate would be appreciated if you're driving yourself there. I would recommend renting a vehicle, as the property is a little far from the centre of town and getting there aren't many accessible restaurants to eat at close by as most restaurants close by require you to be staying at the resort to eat there.

• Stephan (10/5): Self Catering Property in calm and very good location - We liked everything with this place: location (close to the ferry to isla mujeres), private little beach (no such big weed problem as in other locations, daily clean up of the beach), secure property with off street parking (rental car highly recommended), simple but sufficient equipment (very good value for money), easy and quick communication .. the listing is very true (no hidden downsides) ... highly recommended if your are mobile, e.g. if you have rental car Nothing

Cerca de una tienda 24 horas de una gasolinera y una pizzeria. La cocina es muy justa (dos tenedores, dos cucharas, dos platos, dos vasos y una sartén) y la playa accesible no es recomendable bañarse por estar en el acceso a los ferrys.

• Mikhail.v. (9/5): Ideal if you're looking for an unexpensive and quite place with access to the beach. - Very quiet place with access to the beach. Perfect for staying away form the crowds. The room was pretty small, but more than enough for 2 people. Free parking on site. The host was super-friendly and helpful. It's better to get there with a car. Also not many places to eat nearby. But not a problem if you have a car.
• Natalia (8/5): A very peaceful place to recharge. I would come back here. - A remote but lovely property with big trees for shade and a private beach. The quiet punctuated by birdsong here is very soothing and therapeutic; this is a great place to relax and catch up on your reading. I really enjoyed the wooded property and the occasional encounters with wildlife here. The water at the beach is a bit shallow but very refreshing on a hot day. If you want deeper water, there is a larger beach a 3 minute walk away. Better still, drive up to nearby Isla Blanca for the most beautiful wild beach and crystal clear water. The apartment is minimalist but very clean. The bed is super comfortable. The little kitchenette is useful to prepare simple meals instead of eating out. The hostess Claudia is very helpful and responsive. She checked in with me almost every day by text to ensure I am comfortable and have everything I need, and everything I asked for was provided expeditiously. You definitely need a car to get up here and to get around in this area. There isn’t much available within walking distance. The nearest restaurant is 5 minute drive away, other places are much further. The nearest full grocery store is at least a 20 minute drive away. There is a local convenience store where you can buy water, gas, fast food, as well as a local pharmacy and Domino’s Pizza. Small suggestions for improvement: . The lock on the apartment door needs to be more robust, it’s not very secure. . The kitchenette could use a few more basics for short term guests such as salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, a few wine glasses.
• Paul (10/5): Beautiful place, very quiet, impeccably clean. I would love to stay there again. - Someone met me to hand over keys. Hard to find and not really able to give directions to taxi or Uber since it’s not on a named street. But this didn’t impact our stay and we simply walked to the main road to catch the bus.

• Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Claudia is a very nice host, she is friendly and very supporting. She answers within short time what makes everything very easy to handle. The place is perfect if you have a car and especially for small groups. At nighttime the area is really unique. Nearby the farry but its a cool background, we enjoyed it. Only had one Night, but we would stay another.

• Terry (10/5): Would defiantly stay again - Property is Beautiful and Serene. Had slight problem with air conditioning. Claudia came out immediately and had technicians working on it within 1 hour . She gave me the downstairs along with the upstairs during the rest of my stay free of charge. Needs ceiling fans to distribute air conditioning better, or to just use by itself. It was great even without them.

• Christopher (10/5): Tiny secret paradise - Can't imagine a better place. It is on 2 acres and we identified 5 different new species of birds. It's a tiny paradise surround by BIG all inclusive WAY overpriced hotels. The onsite land keeper was always available and kept the property SPOTLESS and groomed and the girl we booked with ...I'm so mad at myself for forgetting her name :( was truly amazing. Giving recommendations on restaurants and things to do. We will certainly we back and definitely always available for anything we needed. HIGHLY Recommend Nothing

The owner was really friendly and happy to satisfy all our requests. As it is pretty remote I would recommend renting a car.
• Juanita (8/5): Loved it , once I found it. - It was quite. Very difficult to locate since there is no sign. Hint: go towards the ferry turn left at the first street on the left hand side. There is a small souvenir shop. Go towards the end of the street. First black gate on the right. Once you find it it’s beautiful.

All was great-just a recommendation: make sure u rent a car when staying at this place. It is far from center and Zona Hotelera but totally worthy having ur own piece of a paradise :).
