So comfortable and decorated to a very high standard! Food is excellent especially breakfast!!!! Staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you! The room was uncomfortably hot! Yes I know it’s summer and we don’t get many hot days in the UK but it unfortunately meant two sleepless nights unfortunately! 😞

If you can’t relax here, you probably can’t relax. - A full English breakfast of the finest ingredients, nicely cooked and very well presented. The owners were helpful polite and engaging. We will be repeating our guest on the future. Nothing that we can think of.
• Barry (9/5): Exceeded our expectations and we will come again - Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities in the room , including fridge, were good and the inn is dog friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of choice; evening meal also good. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and well-appointed. Room 1 more spacious and good for dog - we brought a crate for him. Locals use the pub so that's always a good sign. Garden area very handy with dog Nothing really. Steps to rooms a bit steep but well carpeted with handrail.

But Restaurant menu was limited; a couple more choices would help. TV signal was lousy! Not that we're addicted to the TV, but just that choice was very limited.

• Bronwyn (9/5): Excellent - The Full Moon was just so easy, from the moment you walked in the welcome was so friendly, the rooms had everything you needed, you didn't have to ask anyone for anything, it was all just self explanatory, we loved the attention to detail( full length mirror, hot water bottles, home- made shortbread, bottle of creamy milk in the fridge & personal branding of everything in the room) we booked a table for dinner and the food and drinks were delicious,the atmosphere in the pub was buzzy, nice friendly locals and dog friendly we even bought our dog home some delicious treats purchased from the bar...we were so impressed...and the breakfast the following morning was so tasty....Well Done Full Moon, Rudge for us you have set a bench mark as how things should be done...we had an amazing stay...Thank you!!

Highly recommended. Just one snag, the bathroom door, its a slider and has about 6 inch gap when closed, so no sound proofing when using the facilities. 😬

The bar and restaurant were lovely, the room was great, and the staff wonderful. I particularly appreciated how un-pretentious and genuine it is. Had a lovely time.
• Gerwyn (8/5): - Very cosy pub with friendly staff and good food. The bar closed at 9pm and was locked and there was no other space to sit down and relax and get a drink, so we had to retire to our bedroom then. Need to provide some facility as we were away for a break not an early night.

• kelsey (10/5): Top marks, perfect in every way - We had to leave at 8am for our VIP experience at Longleat, we explained this to the staff on check in and she was very accommodating and told us they could do us a takeout and it was ready and fresh for when we needed this so was amazing customer service. Nothing. It was perfect for us in every way.

Nice welcome tray with drinks and biscuits - also for the dog! Staff were helpful and friendly. Nice friendly and cosy bar area. The garden is beautiful. Very dog friendly. Unfortunately the sprung mattress was a bit squeaky.

Small selection of evening meals on menu. I opted to eat elsewhere as I didn't want any of the options available, although this was not an issue as there were plenty of places local to pick from.

NICE ATMOSPHERIC BAR IN THE EVENING. EXCELLENT FOH STAFF. WE WEREN'T ADVISED THAT THERE IS NO RESTAURANT OPEN ON A TUESDAY. THE HOTEL IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE SO THIS WASNT CONVENIENT.

• Benjamin (9/5): A good little find - The room was a really good size for the price, and the fixtures and fittings of a good quality. The food was amazing too for what we paid too! We weren't too keen on the sliding door to the ensuite, and the open-ended shower cubicle.

• Andrea (10/5): - We visited as a family and reserved 4 rooms for one night as we wanted a hotel near Longleat. The staff were excellent and attentive. We had reserved a table for lunch on arrival day. The food was plentiful and fairly priced. The rooms were all comfortable and warm and breakfast in the morning was superb. Can't fault it. Well done the staff and facilities. Frankly nothing. The staff went out of their way to meet all our requirements.

• Sally (10/5): Wonderful 2 x night stay at this cosy welcoming hotel. We would definitely recommend it and will certainly stay here aga - Loved everything about it. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast and welcoming friendly staff. We ate here in the evening as well and couldn’t fault it. Ideal location for a visit to Stonehenge and Longleat. Overall a wonderful find which we will happily return to in the future Nothing

Well appointed rooms, clean and some nice touches. Local food and friendly staff. Very little. Walls a little thin so could hear our neighbours, but that could have been them being noisy. That said it didn't really disturb us...

• Karen (10/5): Excellent place to stay - We absolutely loved this inn. We stayed on a Thursday evening and it was fairly busy. It must be very popular. The hosts were fab and the food was excellent. We have a few more Somerset visits to do and we’ve already planned to return. Our room was one of the most comfortable rooms we’ve stayed in. Our dog was made welcome too. We have no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend

Only slight thing would be the mattress was not very supportive for myself but this is down to preference as my partner didn’t have a problem with it.

• Sarah (9/5): A little hidden gem - Its all in the detail. Fresh milk, water and fresh orange in the mini fridge. Sustainable products. I stayed in room 2 and it was comfortable and had a good night sleep. I am a solo female business traveler and felt safe. Richard was a great host and amazing chef. My eggs Florentino in the morning were delicious. I was disappointed that the pub restaurant was closed during my stay as I had read great reviews. Note the pub restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday.
