• Noel (7/5): Fair enough - The location. No complimentary slippers, bath soap and beverages.
• Weixing (8/5): Nice hotel in good location. - Nice economy hotel in a good location with clean room, good wifi, friendly staff and good view of Mount Apo(the highest mountain in Philippines from the 5 th floor room. The Towels are old and look dirty. Need to ask for it, not in the room by default.

• Adrian Karl (2/5): - The staff are respectable and accommodating. The AC is not cooling even after cleaning the filters
• Maria (8/5): Check In - The place where the Hop Inn hotel signage was is a turn off. It took time for us to get the keys to the second room. We were there in the morning and we were told that the 2nd room was still being cleaned and that they will being us the key since we checked in to the first room. We left for shopping after awhile. When we came back in the afternoon, we were told again to wait for the keys to the 2nd room as it wasn't ready yet.
• Marie Christine (1/5): No electricity, no water = nightmare - The location. I booked 3 rooms for someone else. I was informed at dawn, there was a blackout. There may or may not have a generator in the property. The other problem was that there was no water because there was no electricity - was what the staff told the guests. And the senior citizen guests have an event in the morning they have to attend. The situation was just terrible. The rooms were booked for 2 nights but the guests checked out after Day 1 and transferred to another hotel. Hop Inn informed the guests they will be refunded, we will see.

• MED (7/5): Secure and comfortable - 1- Location - Close to fast food outlets for a very early meal or late meal, SM Lanang, SaveMore supermarket, Abreeza by Ayala Malls, and a big hospital. 2- New building, the pavement outside has not even been water stained yet. 3- Clean and well maintained common areas like the lobby, lifts, corridors. 4- Room is also a decent size, with security features I really appreciate including a safe and double lock on the door. 5-Shower and toilet are clean and roomy. Showergel and handwash liquid provided but no toothbrush or toothpaste (although this was mentioned on the booking page). 6- They provided two glasses, but no cups or teaspoons. So if you need caffeine to get you going in the morning, bring your own cup. 1- Linen - Hotel bath towels and bath mat are threadbare, and there was no hand towl. I do believe hotel linen are key element of hotel branding, so it's a pity there was no attention paid to this. 2- Luggage Rack - For guest over 50yo this is essential, but there was none in the room. So I had to kneel on the floor every time I unpacked/packed or needed something from the suitcase. 3- Lighting -Only two modes: bright or total darkness. But there was no dimmer, pin lights, or small lamp  near the bedside table. 4- Noise - Get a room far away from your floor's lift lobby. People tend to chat very loudly all time of the day, even at 7am, and the corridor floors and walls are reflective which magnifies the noise pollution.

There is no proper space to store luggage except near the door, which is a safety hazard. AC was loud throughout my entire stay. The towels were a dirty brown color with visible stains. Not worth the money compared to other hotels of the same star rating in Davao.

• TL (6/5): Reasonable for the price. - Nice location—there’s a McDonald’s right beside the hotel, and it’s very easy to find. Abreeza is also nearby. It feels very mechanical and not thoughtfully designed—e.g., there are no hooks to hang your clothes, and there’s no lounge or café in the hotel. It’s basically just a place to sleep for the night, more like a motel than a hotel. Except it's brighter and cleaner.
• Boncales (8/5): Receptionists lack basic hospitality standard - The facilities are good and location. I do appreciate the guards and the housekeeping staff, who were very helpful and respectful. The reception team fell short of basic hospitality standards. They did not greet guests properly, showed little engagement, and lacked professionalism. It was disappointing to encounter a reception team that seemed unprepared and unsure of their roles.

• Ilan (8/5): - The location is great — close to McDonald’s and other businesses. McDonald’s isn’t really my cup of tea, but it’s convenient for breakfast and seems to be open 24 hours, though I didn’t ask. The reception staff were friendly, and the security guard was nice too. The room was clean, with a bed, TV, nightstand, and a desk with a chair. There was soap provided in both the shower and the sink. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Overall, it was a great stay — I only moved to a condominium because I needed a place with a washing machine. Otherwise, I would have stayed there longer. The sink was clogged and I had to open it myself using a hanger because I didn’t want to put my hand into the dirty water. The room is quite small, so it’s not very comfortable for a long stay. There’s no kettle inside the room (only a water dispenser in the hallway, which doesn’t heat water enough for proper coffee). The view wasn’t great either.

• Jeffrey Brian (10/5): Wonderful stay - Location is near fastfood chains, drugstores, and medical facilities in case there will be a need for such. The location is also one jeepney ride away from SM Lanang. None in particular. Though when it rained, they cannot lend us umbrellas when we borrowed to go outside since they are using it for their other guests who are also arriving.

The AC is not perfectly good during my stay they need to fix it because there was icy and water spilling .
