• Riccardo (10/5): Casa, vera - Ho avuto la fortuna di essere ospite alla Casa di zia Pupetta, che si trova al piano basso di un luminoso cortile in un angolo molto suggestivo e tranquillo di Bari Vecchia (e quindi strategicamente vicina a tutto il bello da vedere – e da mangiare – in città) ed è un monolocale in cui tutto testimonia la sincera passione con cui Francesco e Tonia (la madre) si dedicano all’arte dell’accoglienza: dall’estrema pulizia, all’attenzione per l’arredamento (in equilibrio tra calore e linearità) fino nei minimi particolari (anche ‘funzionalmente’ non manca proprio nulla, e tutto si trova esattamente dove ci si aspetta che sia), alle piccole grandi ‘coccole’ disseminate per casa (una bottiglia di buon rosso come benvenuto, un frigo sempre fornito di acqua, succhi, latte, una cucina che dispone di un giusto assortimento di snack utilizzabili per la colazione o per uno spuntino, un bagno con adeguato set di cortesia). Menzione particolare, certamente, per il comodissimo letto (uno dei migliori in cui abbia mai dormito in viaggio), per le lenzuola e gli asciugamani morbidi e profumati, per l’ottima pressione dell'acqua in doccia, per la smart tv effettivamente funzionante; ma menzione particolarissima, sopra ed oltre i ‘dettagli tecnici’, per Francesco (un vero host, la cui simpatica disponibilità si manifesta ancora prima dell’arrivo in città con il dettagliato messaggio di ‘istruzioni’ per trovare la casa e continua per tutto il soggiorno con i suoi consigli e le sue velocissime risposte ad ogni domanda turisticamente possibile…una presenza costante ma mai invadente, che è stato un vero dispiacere non conoscere di persona - ma la mia permanenza è stata decisamente troppo breve) e per Tonia che mi ha accolto con un sorriso e con pari gentilezza: ci si sente subito, autenticamente, profondamente a casa. Peccato che il voto massimo qui sia solo 10…

• Sabina (10/5): Pokój w świetnej lokalizacji, w jednej z urokliwych uliczek starego miasta Bari👌 - Mój pobyt w Bari był absolutnie fantastyczny, a duża w tym zasługa tego miejsca - Casa di zia Pupetta. Pokój był urządzony z dbałością o każdy detal, bardzo czysty i przytulny. Znajdowały się w nim wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia. Właściciel okazał się przesympatyczną i niezwykle pomocną osobą – dba o to, aby każdy gość czuł się wyjątkowo od pierwszych chwil. Bardzo miłym akcentem na powitanie była butelka wina czekająca na nas w pokoju. Takie podejście do gości jest naprawdę unikatowe! Kuchnia była doskonale zaopatrzona. W lodówce czekała na nas woda, soki oraz mleko. Do dyspozycji gości była również kawa, herbata oraz produkty na szybkie śniadanie. Dzięki temu nie musieliśmy martwić się o poranne zakupy. Jeśli planujecie wizytę w Bari, nie szukajcie dalej – to miejsce oferuje wszystko, czego potrzeba do idealnego, kilkudniowego wypoczynku. Z pewnością wrócę tu przy najbliższej okazji!

Doskonałe położenie w sercu starego miasta, wszędzie blisko. UJMUJĄCA OPIEKA GOSPODARZA (Francesco), można liczyć na Jego pomoc w każdej sytuacji. Bardzo ładne wnętrze mieszkania, aneks kuchenny wyposażony we wszelkie udogodnienia oraz gotowe do spożycia produkty. W cenie woda mineralna bez ograniczeń, butelka wina na dzień dobry, herbaty, kawa, croissanty, ciastka, także bez glutenu itp. Wygodne, duże łoże małżeńskie. Bardzo ładna łazienka z bidetem.

• Maria Siekierska (10/5): - Bardzo czysto, pachnąco i przytulnie. Miejsce zaopatrzone w kawę, różne herbaty, przekąski, mleko, soki wodę gazowaną i niegazowaną. Powitalna butelka wina z regionu Apulia jest miłym dodatkiem. Łóżko wygodne i z kołdrą (w czasie zimowych pobytów to ważny element ). Super lokalizacja. Właściciel troskliwy, odpowiadający na wszystkie pytania szybko i życzliwie. Jedyna uwagę jaką można napisać, to ze względu na specyfikę wszystkich kamienic w centrum, mieszkanie chociaż ma okno (wychodzi na dziedziniec i jest bardzo wysoko) jest bardzo ciemne (śpi się jak w jaskini).

He was really attentive, answered all our questions and helped us with suggestions and also to get the taxi to the airport. As for the conditions, everything was perfect. Really warm, really clean and had everything we needed and beyond. We even had tea, wine, water, milk, juices and a whole lot of other things for FREE. The towels smelled really good. The bed was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. The location of the apartment is in Bari Vecchia, in the old town, close to nice restaurants and bars. We really loved the vibe of the place around us. Overall, I loved my staying here and given the chance, i would definitely comeback. Nothing.

• Katarzyna (10/5): - Przemiły i bardzo pomocny właściciel. Dba o swoich gości, jest z nim stały kontakt przez WhatsApp’a. Lokalizacja miejsca idealna, jeżeli komuś zależy na prawdziwym klimacie Włoch. W koło piękne uliczki i dobre miejsca z pysznym jedzeniem w odległości 5-10min od obiektu, sklepy z pamiątkami. Do centrum około 15-20min pieszo, ale tam nie ma takiego klimatu jak w tej okolicy, zależy oczywiście od upodobań. Apartament nie jest duży, ale dla 2-3 osób zdecydowanie wystarczający. Bardzo wygodne łóżko, wyposażenie jak najbardziej na plus, są podstawowe sprzęty użytku codziennego, dla gości czeka kawa herbata, lodówka wyposażona w mleko (również bez laktozy) wodę (gazowaną i niegazowaną) soczki pomarańczowe, były również koszyczki z przekąskami na słodko (również bez laktozy i bez glutenu się znalazły), a nawet butelka wina na przywitanie. Było czysto i przyjemnie. Przed przyjazdem czytałam opinie poprzednich gości i nie zgodzę się z tym, że jest głośno. Jedyne odgłosy jakie słychać to są ludzie, którzy tam po prostu mieszkają. Nie rozumiem jak można na to narzekać, skoro to my jesteśmy gośćmi u nich. Jeżeli komuś zależy na totalnej ciszy, to może niech nie wybiera Włoch, bo tamtejsza kultura jest po prostu głośna. Albo niech szuka typowych hoteli. Podczas naszego pobytu było cicho i spokojnie. Z mojego doświadczenia mogę śmiało polecić to miejsce 😊 z pewnością chętnie bym do niego wróciła.

• Raluca (10/5): A lovely stay! - It’s a cozy place set in an authentic Italian building, offering a glimpse into genuine Italian atmosphere. At the same time, it is equipped with all the modern essentials needed for a comfortable few days' stay. The apartment includes an electric stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, as well as cutlery and plates. It is very clean and what I appreciated the most was the attention to detail. The house is thoughtfully arranged and for example, it has ceramic cups as well as individually sealed single‑use carton cups. The complimentary goodies were varied and suited different needs and preferences. The hosts are nice, ready to assist if necessary and easily to communicate with. Francesco reached out in advance and shared useful information and photos of the house. The location is excellent. One does not need public transportation to explore the touristic part of Bari and the main station is only about a 20‑minute walk away.

Very clean and well prepared apartment, comfortable bed. Nice hosts. Nothing special to improve, everything is mainteined well. Just the note for guests: apartment is quite small with a small bathroom and one small window but everything is designed to fit the apartment space and prepared to make you feel comfortable, parking where you can leave a car for a night is about 10 minutes away by walk but during a day you can park in a big parking 1 minute away from the house.

El dueño tuvo muchos detalles con nosotros, lo que hizo la estancia aún más agradable. Además, las instalaciones estaban impecablemente limpias y situadas en pleno casco antiguo de Bari, por lo que todo quedaba a mano. Fue un auténtico placer estar aquí, sin duda repetiríamos.

It was very spacious and in a brilliant location, and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Our expectations were exceeded and we would highly recommend booking here. It is also just a 10 minute walk to the big shopping area with Zara etc, there and a short stroll to local restaurants and sites. Highly recommend. Nothing at all! Was amazing!

Nowhere in the old town is more than a few minutes away. They are perfect thoughtful and friendly hosts. We loved our couple of days here. Francesco was kind enough to phone a taxi for us at the end of our stay to get back to where we’d parked our van.

A bottle of wine, tea, coffee, an assortment of breakfast croissants (plus gluten-free options). Francesca was really helpful, sending photos of the entrance, she dropped a pin for directions- sent the day before arrival. • Franco (10/5): Exceptional - Bari is beautiful, but staying here made it even more so. The house is in perfect condition, clean, tidy, with everything you need to have a great stay. The details of the snacks, water and wine! It was delicious and much appreciated after traveling many hours. We will recommend this place to every person who wants to come to Italy. • John (8/5): Excellent location, rooms and hosts - The property's location is excellent, and the rooms themselves are very nice. The hosts were communicative, informative, and helpful. The historic centre of Bari is smaller than we expected, and has few good restaurants, but we enjoyed our stay. A few people were often in the courtyard immediately outside our room, and during the day they talked loudly, or played ball - so when we arrived and were a bit tired, it was hard to have a nap. (I realise that neighbours are not something that a host can control).

• Fides (10/5): Excellent Base in Puglia! - Francesco is a wonderful and very hospitable host. Super comfortable stay in the Casa. Smells really good and clean. Had red wine as a welcome gift. Well lit. High speed wifi. Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon. Feels like home. Full stocked Italian breakfast fare. If you're used to it, then you are all set. There's also available coffee pods, juices, water (sparkling and still), spreads and other condiments! Location is at the edge of the old town and I can just walk everywhere! Perfect!

Apartment was equipped with water, coffee, tee, snacks, even a bottle of wine. We would definitely recommend. The only thing - if staying for more days, closet/drawers/cabinet, or some place to store clothes, etc. would be perfect.
• Flora (10/5): The dream place to stay in Bari old town! - Casa di Zia Pupetta was PERFECT. I loved my stay here. It was spotlessly clean, everything was new & shiny & comfortable and good quality. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and they gave me everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I loved all the nice little touches - the mini olive oil sachets, the yummy breakfast foods supplied, orange juice cartons & fresh milk in the fridge. The hosts even gave me a present of a bottle of red wine and some of those yummy Italian curly breadstick things! Delicious and so thoughtful. There was a guest book with sweet messages from happy guests and the apartment felt very secure and safe too. I loved how it was within its own courtyard and the family of Francesco (the host) all live nearby, it made me feel well looked after. Air conditioning works well but the big stone walls keep it nice and cool anyway. Francesco was a great communicator and made me feel so welcome greeting me on arrival even though it was late at night, and he sorted it so that I could leave my bags after I checked out on the day I left. There was nothing they hadn’t thought of - they supplied shampoo, soap, shower gel, shower hats, a hairdryer, plenty of towels. There were USB charging points too. The kitchen was complete with induction hob, coffee maker & microwave and all the utensils & crockery & pans etc you could need. The location is perfect - in the HEART of Bari old town, with restaurants & shops, Basilicas & locals all on your doorstep. It is the perfect place to stay for a solo traveller or a couple (or perhaps two friends who are happy to share a bed - plenty of space!) visiting Bari city for a couple of days. I wish I had my own Casa di Zia Puppeta apartment in London!! The *only* thing I would suggest is the addition of a kettle to the kitchen. Classic British person, I love my tea! But I was perfectly happy boiling water for this on the stove. I’d also suggest for other travellers it’s better for people who want to be out exploring all day as it doesn’t get much natural light, but that suited me just fine.

The host is extremely helpful and polite. One of the best places I've ever stayed, I would recommend it to everyone with all my heart. 💚

They put some breakfast for me and even a welcoming present! The host was super patient with me, since I had trouble at the airport. The location is perfect too! • Siarhei (9/5): Superb - The perfect location in the ancient part of the city 1 minute walk from basilica St. Nicolas. The port and the station are 15 minutes away by foot. The owner is a young positive man, willing to help his guests. There are no cooking facilities inside of the room, as it is rather small. However, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, tea, coffee, and bottle of wine are provided to kill the hunger and relax. The room is on the ground floor of the big family house, so you feel like visiting relatives. And if you know Italian well, I am sure, you have chances to become the Family member. Although the room is inside of the inner yard, there might be still some "traffic" in front of your door. The family is big enough and people in Bari like visiting each other. So if you keen on quietness and privacy, you better opt for a good hotel. Be aware, that there is almost no day light inside of the room, as the window is small and close to the ceiling.

The staff was really very friendly and open to anything you might need. Totally new renovated apartment, very clean and nice. There is no objection.
