Guest Reviews
- Robert (10/5): Very enjoyable with all we needed . Well done to the hosts. - A nicely decorated and spacious detached bungalow with a neat enclosed rear garden. Very close to Ludlow's centre and in a quiet area.
- Antony (10/5): A great base if visiting Ludlow. - Property was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We visited Ludlow for the food festival and the property was within a five minute walk of the town centre, in a quiet, secluded position.
Another bonus is the onsite parking.
We would not hesitate to return to the property if visiting Ludlow again. Nothing
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect break away - Beautiful decor, very clean, and everything you need for a relaxing few days away.We loved the privacy of the property and garden. We were made to feel very welcome with the treats on arrival, such a lovely touch.Short walk into town and close to the train station. I hope to book again. Nothing not to like.

- Christine (10/5): Great house in a perfect location for visiting Ludlow and the surrounding area. - The house was in a perfect location to get into the town or down to the river, it was very quiet and very relaxing. The bottle of Prosecco, biscuits and crisps were very much appreciated and enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. We took our dog and there were lots of throws for him to lie on as well as treats. It would have been more comfortable if there had been a little heat on in the mornings.
- Annette (10/5): Exceptional - Good communication by the host, everything you needed in the accommodation, would definitely recommend. N/A
- Samantha (9/5): Lovely.....Better than anticipated! - The photos on the booking site really do not do the property justice. It is a real hidden gem. Spacious, spotless, well equipped and comfortable.
Easy walk into Ludlow for the selection of café, pubs and the castle. The only slight thing we felt could do with an upgrade is the shower but it did not detract from our stay at The Marches.

We were actually working during the day so very appreciative of the extra space in the house. Billy the bedlington terrier was just in love with the fluffy rug and circular nature of the flow. Nothing, just superb.shame there is not a bed upstairs as we would hire for a group of 4 as it’s just perfect

- Gillian (9/5): Fabulous dog-friendly bolt hole in lovely Ludlow - Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Warm, homely, Immaculately clean, lovely Christmas decorations - including a beautifully lit tree - a bottle of fizz in the fridge, a luxury selection of biscuits, chocies, teas & coffee, throws for the dog & dog treats...The rooms even smelt lovely. Big TV, plenty of hot water, good shower, quick & easy walk into town. The owner even messaged me with thoughtful tips of what to do - being Christmas, I'm sure she had better things to do than bother with us! 10am check out quite early. We were ready to leave before then but as neither the owner or a cleaner appeared, did a bit of cleaning & didn't leave until 10.30 only to be met by a very irate cleaner who'd been waiting outside for the last half hour. She'd been parked out of sight. If only she'd knocked! So we left with a flee in our ear which was a bit of a shame.

We felt very at home here. Nothing.
