Christina (8/5): Comfortable home-away-from home during our holiday visit with family! - Spacious half of a duplex -- large tv in the living room; screened in lanai; two full bathrooms; a master bedroom with TV; a modern kitchen with a coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher and full size fridge. Convenient location for us relative to local family, and to conveniences. About 15-20 minutes to Engelwood Beach, although unfortunatley the beaches were still closed from the hurricanes in the fall. Damon, our host, was responsive and helpful. I would stay there again if I needed accommodations in that area. The house needs some additonal furnishings to be truly user-friendly. It sleeps four but there is only seating for three in the living room; there are only two of some kitchenware (two mugs, two wine glasses, etc); there are no nightstands or bedside tables in either bedroom. My sense is that this is a new property (or under new management); as they get more settled and are able to add to the furnishings, I think it will get even better!
