- Iveta (10/5): Exceptional - It was great value. It was clean. Close to Chip shop and buses
- Jane (10/5): One of my Fav places - I love everything about this apartment. This is the third time I've stayed here. Is warm, cosy, clean and has all the things you need for an overnight stay or a weeks stay which I have just returned home from. The host is very responsive to questions Nothing
- Jane (10/5): Great studio. Really Comfortable - What a lovely stay
Clean ,warm, welcoming ,great location, little personal touches, great communication and really comfy bed will defo be back.
- A (10/5): Exceptional - Living room floor is beautiful but very slippery.
- James (10/5): Great value for money - comfortable, clean and quiet location - ideal for bus links and local shops - great value for money stay in a place that was in a quiet location (apart from some noise from next door on Saturday night until very late/early morning) and really convenient for local shops and the bus services to brighton when we wanted to go out without driving - lovely bit of a sea view from the balcony too - flat was very clean and bed was very comfortable - there was a large selection of teas and coffee and bottled water and some soft drinks in the fridge on arrival with ice lollies in the freezer too :) plenty of plates, pans cups, glasses and cutlery provided and would definately rebook if we need to stay near brighton again especially at the price we paid - looks like this flat was recently made/built and we may have been only the first or second only to stay there or it could be that it was just very clean :) liked the fact we could park outside the property too at the back of the shops. the communication with the hosts was great as well - kept us informed with everything we needed to know and was very helpful when they were cleaning the property next door one day and we needed an extra bin bag. A couple of niggly little things - the hot water for the sinks only lasts for about a minute. we had to boil the kettle to top it up. The iron provided leaks water. The wall hook in the bathroom kept falling off with just a small towel hung on it.
We couldnt find any live tv only via streaming services on Roku TV available, so you have to be fairly technical to watch tv or have streaming subscriptions you can sign into to watch anything. Or bring your Firesticks or hdmi streaming devices with you. We had to screen mirror live tv from our phones to the tv in the end but none of these things would stop us from booking again.
- Gowers (7/5): Overall I had a pleasant stay, location was good for the money I paid with parking. - There was a little trouble finding the location as it the entrance to the back of the flats where the car space was situated was a bit hidden and had to ask around the locals before going into the shop it was actually under to realise it was there. I didn’t like the fact there were no towels provided, luckily I bought a beach towel!
The bed linen was very itchy and I seemed to keep over heating under it which I’m putting down to cheap material made of polyester so that was a shame as didn’t sleep well for that reason.
- A (4/5): Disappointing ..lacks basic appliances; a country view area - location beside and ‘flatlet over shops’ in modern village near Saltdean sounds nice…but..it isn’t. it was cobwebby (even on greasy oven door) had cobwebs: quite a few areas were grubby (eg. long Hair) on oven top previous occupant dishes still in rack at sink: smeary. The owner came up after a few hours and the woman ‘sort’ of agreed tiny flatlet not so good “but her son had not done it” quote: view over roofs to far sea might be nice on bright day. It is up a narrow old gravel alley: tricky to find THE alley.. took 15 mins on sat nav! No toaster or microwave in kitchenette! I had to suggest. Guests arrive via fire escape stairs (key-safe) the deck is shared but isn’t clean for bare feet. Sensor light didn’t work brightly (on stairs) at 11pm as a host had promised on phone: when I asked. There are broken bits of equipment bumpy astro turf lying around.. alley parking? unpaved: Bins too full to add more to: carpark 2 spaces; the entry is above and rear of barber and a few food shops ..not a normal idea of seaside vacation location. OK for two nights; unit needs a deep clean. I know from other stays in area ‘bedsit’ flat is overpriced but under serviced. TV is platform access: codes etc. I couldn’t use.
- Mike (6/5): Over all the property is OK for the odd night or 2,but not a week with no running hot water - No running hot water,
Cooker switch faulty( the chrome switch) have to tap it to get it on,
