• Pascale (7/5): Séjour au calme sur la côte Est. - Logement assez grand et situé au calme sur la côte Est qui a été plus ensoleillée que le sud ou l'ouest de l'île durant notre séjour. Nous n'avons pas rencontré l'hôte mais il a toujours été très réactif. A noter aussi la présence d'un jacuzzi que nous n'avons pas eu le temps d'utiliser. La cuisine et la salle de douche sont un peu petites. Au niveau des produits de base en cuisine c'était aussi un peu limité et il y avait des fourmis donc il fallait bien enfermer tous les aliments.

• Anja (8/5): Luštno, a malo obrabljeno - Super lokacija, stran od vrveža. Zelo prostorno. Zanimiv jacuzzi. Ulica je sicer strma, ampak je še cesta z druge strani, tako da dovoz ni tak problem. Ogrevanje in sušenje prostorov dela odlično, zelo doprinese k udobju, ker je hiša na lokaciji z veliko vlage. Prijetno dvorišče, lep vrt (kisle mandarine). Hiša ima svoj šarm, nam je bila zelo všeč. Vonj iz odtokov v kopalnici. Priporočam še radiator ali klimo v kopalnici, ker obstoječe ogrevanje do tja ne seže, kopalnica je hladna (sploh, če jo zračiš zaradi vlage in vonja). Pokvarjen aparat za kavo, škoda. In, če sem iskrena, se hiši kljub vsem šarmu pozna uporaba (kuhinjske omarice in predali, laminat v pritličju). Malo čuden sistem posteljnine: odeja, s katero se pokriješ, nima preobleke, temveč samo rjuho. Razumem, da to pomeni manj pranja, in recimo, da to nekako funkcionira, ampak ne opraviči vidno rumenih - umazanih robov odeje na enojnih posteljah.
• Szilvia (8/5): - Private house in a quiet place, equipped with almost everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and gave immediate answers for our questions. The house was quite damp due to repeated rains. We were able to solve this problem with a lot of ventilation and using the dryer function of the air conditioner.

• Ilda (10/5): - Casa acolhedora, sofá e colchão muito confortáveis. Possui tudo o necessario para passar alguns dias. Zona muito tranquila, só se ouve sino da igreja. Otima relação preço, qualidade, tendo em conta o jacuzzi. Voltarei em breve.
• Rui (9/5): Estadia calma e rejuvenescedora - Anfitrião muito prestável. O único ponto negativo que verificamos foi resolvidos rapidamente. Já é a nossa 3ª visita à casa e gostamos sempre muito do tempo passado aqui. No geral foi tudo muito bom, apenas noto que certos equipamentos começam a acusar o uso e eventualmente necessitarão de uma reforma, mas nada que torne a estadia repreensível.
• Joe (9/5): Overall, we very much enjoyed our first at this house and if we come back to this area, we will happily stay here again. - Very comfortable and clean. Amenities as described and plentiful. Kitchen was well stocked. While we did not try the jacuzzi, it looked great. Private parking was nice, however it was ‘fun’ and challenging trying to park. The road leading to the house is very steep, scary steep. That is no fault of the home owners, we are not used to this. We made it work.

• Donald (9/5): We loved the location of this house in a beautiful small town right off the main square. It was quite, the market, coffe - The location, it had parking, the host was very responsive with any questions we had.
• Ingrid (7/5): Prima huis, jammer van het probleem met de vloer in badkamer - Het was ruim genoeg voor 2 Er kwam door de naden van de vloer water omhoog in de badkamer. Er hing wsl daardoor een muffe lucht in het huis.
• NetteS (7/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und ländlich gelegen mit ausreichend Platz. Wir waren zu einer stürmischen Zeit bei Antonio untergebracht und er hat uns entsprechend zeitnah informiert. Auf den ersten Blick entsprach die Unterkunft den Bildern. Allerdings ist der erste Schliff vorüber. Es roch recht muffig, auch nach regelmässigen lüften. Als es regnete ist der Regen durch die nicht abgedichtete Tür gedrungen. Die Fenster sind bis auf das Badezimmer nicht kippbar, sondern nur weit zu öffnen. Das Kopfteil vom Elternbett ist schon sehr zerschlissen und auch der Bodenbelag im Untergeschoss ist verbraucht. Leider sind die Gartenmöbel (geflochtene Sitzgarnitur) auch schon in die Jahre gekommen und teils kaputt.
• Ouimet (3/5): - La maison est bien, mais en entrant une forte odeur de moisissure était présente à l'intérieur. Nous avions réservé pour 7 nuits et nous avons quitté après 2 nuits. La propriétaire est très gentille, et elle a essayé de nous aider avec la climatisation. Mais ce n'est pas l'humidité qui nous a dérangés, c'est vraiment une odeur de moisissure... On aurait apprécié un dédommagement même si c'est non remboursable, car lorsqu'on a réservé, on n'a pas choisi un endroit qui sentait la moisissure.

• Elena Marloa (9/5): El alojamiento tiene mucho encanto, y el jacuzzi fue genial! - El alojamiento es muy bonito, además es espacioso. Tiene dos habitaciones muy grandes, perfecto para 4 personas. Nos gustó especialmente poder desayunar en la terraza de la casa y el jacuzzi fue una absoluta sorpresa!!! Súper relajante para darte un baño por la noche. Además, me gustaría añadir que el anfitrión fue súper amable y servicial!!! Incluso se nos olvido una camiseta en el alojamiento e hizo las gestiones para recuperarla :) Quizá hubiese estado bien disponer de un baño adicional. Pero en líneas generales, el alojamiento estaba muy bien y la cocina estaba muy equipada!!!

• Ingeborg (8/5): Great house if you want to be away from it all! - Amazing spot if you want to be away from it all! Lovely spacious house with comfy beds, a little patio and even a jacuzzi in the barn outside. The house was very humid when we were there in a rainy period. Turn on the heating/blower when you arrive to get rid of the humidity.
• Pavel (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, quiet location in a small village, but only a few minutes drive to the city. You have the accommodation to yourself, equipped kitchen, barbecue in the garden and hot tub in the old barn. We had the support of the kind owner on the phone the whole time. I recommend the stay for those who like peace and quiet and like to discover the surroundings.
• Ricardo (7/5): Good - A confortable couple room. It is a very nice, cozzy and silent space with beautiful landscape. Every space, textils and objects inside the house were very well cleaned. A pleasent decoration with function. The jacuzzi was full with uncleaned water. The buttons from the stove were not functioning well. The heating system from the living room did not worked. Dryed and old plants as the Hortensis inside the the room not so good as for the alergics.
• Katarzyna (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely lovely house in a remote Pedreira close to Nordeste, if you're looking for peace and quiet this is the best spot ever! The house interiors are very nice, there are two bedrooms with very comfy beds, kitchen is well-equipped and you can easily cook any meal you want, there's a nice outside barbecue area and amazing jacuzzi in a separate building, and also a big TV with Netflix etc for rainy weather. This is not anywhere close to restaurants or anything fancy (but there's a small cafe and shop locally- shop is super cool:), but if you want nothing but birds singing and sea whispering in a distance this is a place for you. We spent here the whole week and it was our base for travelling around the island - really no problem to see everything or most at least. What we would love to have (perfectly fine without these though:) - drier for dishes or more dishcloths - some small table in the TV area - garden umbrella in the barbecue area to keep the tables from getting wet from from frequent showers, however, minding the crazy winds that were there during our stay I perfectly understand lack of it, it would fly away very fast;) - parking (this is not something that can be changed, just an info for other travellers) - the parking space next to the house is good but getting in or out is not a super easy thing for people used to parking in flat and straight places. Parking needs handling narrow street plus up and turn to get inside and additional attraction was a neighbour parking his truck right on the corner next to our gate. He was nice and moving the car whenever we needed but still with a rental car (we had Citroen C3) it was pretty stressful so bear in mind, the smaller the car the better :)

It was worn out, even though it is Not that old. The bed was 140x200 or max 150, for us far to small. We would not stay 7 nights next time, but pick two places on Sao Miguel for that time frame to be more flexible.

• Briana (10/5): Absolutely amazing stay and the sweetest hosts - This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The house is so nice that we rearranged our plans to have time just to relax here. Many great things but the hosts make sure your stay is superb. We traveled with a baby and the host washed all of the sheets and towels with baby laundry detergent and then left it for our use. I was blown away by her thoughtfulness. -quiet neighborhood -parking spot off the road for your car -gorgeous sunrise view right up the hill about a 2 minute walk. There’s also a cafe and grocery store. -comfortable beds. 2 different types of pillows with different firmness. -simple and cozy decor (decorated with blankets, plants and items that have interesting history) -instruction manuals for things like the air conditioners are provided. I’ve never stayed at a place that had this but what a great thing to do! -the hot tub of course. So relaxing and can be used in any weather since it’s in its own little building right next to the house -the washer is 2 in 1 so it can also dry -lots of extras and special touches. I don’t want to list everything and ruin the fun of finding them but some examples are fruit from their garden and a picnic kit. -there is a fire blanket and fire extinguisher. I don’t know why more people haven’t reviewed (booked?) this place other than maybe the location and lack of reviews. But the Nordeste side of the island is beautiful and much less crowded while still being close to attractions and there are plenty of positive reviews on a different booking site. Don’t hesitate to stay here! Liked it all

Here I want emphasize that the hostess did not have the opportunity to make preparations for our arrival, because she found out about our arrival at the very last minute. We had an unpleasant situation with another property where the accommodation was double booked and we had to find quickly a new one late at night. We found Casa Pyrrhula Murina and it was an amazing experience. Immediately after booking, we called the hostess and announced our arrival. Of course, she didn't know anything about our arrival at first, but she reacted very quickly. The hostess was in another city at that moment, but she quickly organized the keys of the property for us so that we could enter the house. The house was clean, cozy, modern and very nicely furnished. Later, the hostess came by and brought us a welcome bottle of local wine and food for breakfast. Free of charge. No meals were included in the price of our accommodation. I highly recommend this property. This hostess loves her guests and makes them feel like at home. -
