• Joanne (8/5): A lovely location just a few things missing. - Great to have a retractable washing line to hang up the wet swimwear after a lovely dip in the sea at Rest Bay. Good new pans to use in kitchen. Although no cafetiere on arrival, the host supplied on first evening. Thank you! Everything worked well. We had a lovely stay being so close to Rest Bay. The flat is well-appointed. However, felt that lack of attention to detail in equipment and cleaning rather let it down. There was no chopping board in the kitchen & no oven gloves (mentioned in a previous review) & no coasters for wine or hot drinks. The food waste was at the back of a low cupboard but no liners supplied. When I removed the runner on the table there were a lot of crumbs left from previous occupation. We also had to wash some glasses, cutlery & crockery before use as they weren't as clean as I would have liked. A few long, dark hairs in kitchen, bedroom & bathroom too suggests lack of thoroughness in cleaning. However the host kindly supplied us with a cafetiere after I requested on the first night. Appreciated the new pans too. It could be a great flat if just those things were seen to.

• Gillian (7/5): - Great location for Porthcawl golf. Easy access with key lockbox. Nice kitchen for cooking and plenty of utensils. Car parking space and very secure gated location:-) Bedroom was opposite the car park on the ground floor and peoples car lights shining in the bedroom window. The room was very hot. A fan was provided but even on the lowest setting the blinds moved about and you’re on the ground floor level by the car park so felt a bit visible
• Emma (10/5): - Spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Ground floor that opened onto a clean and neat courtyard. Happy to allow kids to play outside safely! I couldn’t find any oven gloves - but it really wasn’t a big deal. I just used a tea towel.

I honestly didn't want to come home I could of quite easily reside there. The owners are very lucky to have such a lovely apartment. Thank you for letting us experience your holiday home. Nothing

• Alison (10/5): An amazing luxurious stay - The location was excellent with a view of the sea, lovely coastal walks, the apartment was really comfortable and very well equipped nothing to dislike
• Ruth (9/5): Satisfied customer, but keen cook! - Location, space, parking, large fridge freezer outdoor space. Everything was wonderful apart from a few minor issues listed below. The kitchen pans were not great. They were too large for 2 people. The frying pan and the smallest pan had burnt on stains. The bathroom door handle dropped off early in our stay, and this kept happening. The bedroom door stuck on the carpet when it was opened. Some of the beading on the bathroom window was coming adrift. This is being nitpicking, but these things could be easily corrected. It was an excellent place to stay, and I would love to stay again (but perhaps take some kitchen items from home!)

• Christine (9/5): A very good place to stay. - Modern, good facilities, clean and very pleasant. We were very pleased. A very up to date flat but I couldn't work out how to lower the heating. Please leave simple instructions for the less technically knowledgeable!
• Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent Nice touch with the patio table and chairs and the deck chairs. Furniture and ornaments were lovely. Lovely touch with the laundry products and bathroom products as well.The tv was awkward to watch from the couch.

We had everything that we needed and it was all very modern. There is a small patio which was great to sit out on. We had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend this apartment. Nothing. A lot of thought has gone into the facilities.
• Phillip (9/5): Great would definitely like to stay again in future - Fantastic location for the golf course made it for me. Nice apartment and level access for my wife. An improvement would be a walk in shower instead of the bath, this would help less able people. A little hot in the apartment because the weather was unusually warm so turned the thermostats down a couple of degrees. Instructions for WiFi on booking .com were incorrect but easily found from label on the router

• Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice location, with the sea in front of you. Good place for parking and a cozy cafe close by. In the morning you drive by the beach and see the surfers out in the water. It seemed newly renovated so the kitchen/livingroom, bathroom and bedroom was as new.

• Dave (9/5): We were here to reunite my wife’s parents with their parents (bench) as they recently passed and used to own property ne - We knew the location in advance but for those who don’t you are looking over a really beautiful spot and in the distance over the channel is North Devon and Somerset, you have a lovely beach, fine sand and loads of rock pools, you can walk along the cliff to Porthcawl and plenty of rest for those that need it by sitting on a bench looking out to sea, look out for the bench in memory of Jim and Iris Murray (Grandparents). Nothing to dislike
• Charlotte (10/5): I would defiantly stay here again. - The property was lovely and in a beautiful location right next to the beach. Weather was lovely and not too cold to go for a nice walk. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
• Susan (10/5): Elvis Weekend - The host was very obliging. The apartment was spotless, and very comfortable. We had milk, bread, butter, tea and coffee for our arrival. The apartment was in lovely grounds, if you wanted a quiet weekend you could stroll on the beach or if you wanted to go into the town it was a few minutes away by car. nothing to dislike
