It's one floor in a public building and lift was often crowded and slow. The building itself is pretty ordinary. Probably would pick something a bit more classy next time.

• Harley (10/5): Great choice for independent travelers! 😊 - Super friendly and efficient Staff (and also the Owner, who went out of her way to suggest restaurants and attractions). This is the type of accommodation well-suited for the traveler who wants to be independent and doesn't require all the attention or services of a standard hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean with good AC and Internet TV and strong Wi-Fi signal. There's even a stove and large fridge to keep beverages and such (I kept my yogurt for the morning). The free (local style) breakfast was also a nice touch! I will stay here again on my next trip to Saigon as the location is excellent too. • Justin (9/5): Superb - Good value, particularly for those looking for a longer stay, and want the extra space with living room to entertain guests (or doing lots of shopping). It was refreshing to have much more room than the typical 2/3 star hotel room, which is much more common and quite variable in District 1 area. The unit has two air cons. Shower had good pressure. Did not use kitchenette or larger fridge, but it has the basics if needed. Receptionist (Hieu) is not 24/7 but works long hours on-site and is friendly and readily contactable (via whatsapp). Floors are card access only, and there is 24/7 security. Unit had balcony and good access to natural lighting thoughout, with blinds for privacy/darkness. Location is nice as it is in district 1, but not next to the loud night areas. Apartment is on a floor in relatively tall building, with other floors dedicated to other offices/workspace. This means there can be a bit of foot traffic getting in and out of the building at certain hours which feels a little unusual. It is also near a bus station, so depending on unit location, you may hear them reversing in the morning (if you're a light sleeper - did not affect my partner, and I guess earplugs would resolve it). Each day of the week has a dedicated breakfast, so you don't really get options if you're feeling particular about what you'd like to eat.

• Yi (7/5): The room itself is good. Just not in a very nice area - The whole apartment is spacious, it has a full kitchen, bathtube, dinning area, living room and a bedroom. It's very easy to pay and get the key in the reception The location is convinient but a bit sketchy and dirty. It's just 3 mins walk to the "red light" street. Not much to eat or shop around the building. Not for people who likes to walk around

• Vinn (5/5): Mattress with SEVERELY DAMAGED SPRINGS and STAINED towels/sheets - 1)Mattress with damaged springs poking out that will very likely bruise you. 2)STAINED towels and sheets. 3)Good location 4) Apartment looks clean 1) The common room has glass windows facing the hall which was very bright. No curtains and therefore the sunlight comes in fully. Too bad if you're not a morning person. 2) OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG the springs on the mattress in the common room were ALL DAMAGED AND POKING MY ENTIRE BODY as I lay. I have been an avid traveller to many South East Asian countries and have slept in all sorts of priced rooms and NEVER had I encountered a mattress with damaged springs poking my body as I slept. I had to check my body for bruises every morming. I get it that costs must be saved but this is 100% UNACCEPTABLE. 3) Very Stained towels and sheets.....Best. 4) the washing machine was so worn and old that it looked damaged. It looked like it could not even survive one more wash. Good luck to the user intending to use it. 5)We were told to wait outside for awhile while they were installing a new TV on the wall. Bear in mind we already had a very very late check in. We waited 20 mins and gave up waiting as they had trouble installing the TV. This could have been done BEFORE our very late check in. We couldn't wait anymore and told them to do away with the new TV and INSISTED on moving into the unit.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Decent size bath and shower., comfortable bed. Would stay again. Staff friendly and helpful.

• Gary (1/5): Unhappy with the decision to stay - Good location Toilet had been blocked since well before we moved in, after 4 days they decided to unblock the toilet after numerous attempts and crap all over our toilet , success !! They unblock the toilet and it just goes back to the same condition. Honestly may be time to have the whole floor and building repaired to rectify this problem . This property is close to the action but is well overdue for repairs . Wouldn’t recommend this property to animals !!!!!!!

• Wouter (8/5): Very good - Nice location with friendly personell. The bedroom and living were spacious! Bathroom was a little small and the bedroom had a slight moldy smell. The airco unit was installed on the terrace which made it unbearable to be there.

At your arrival you will have to announce the security guard from the ground floor and he will sent you to floor #7 by elevator after that you will receive your own card to be able to use the elevator. Bui Vien street 1-2 mins of walking , plenty of markets and shops. Not noisy. Nothing to mention

• Stephen (10/5): You need to stay here. Seriously. - Very clean, high quality apartment 2 mins walk from Bui Vien walking street. Security guard was helpful and the lady managing the apartment was as kind as she was beautiful. Will definitely stay here when in Sai Gon in future. Can't believe I've never noticed this apartment in all thee times I've stayed in Sai Gon.

Large spacious suite, fast Internet, good air conditioning. Bed was comfortable. Despite the amount of construction in the area, it was quiet, the walls had good sound proofing building good security. Thank you for great friendly service. No shower curtain, large spacious bathtub, plug was not working so couldn't fill bath. Had to take showers with no shower curtain or decent hand rail.warer was quick to hest up and food pressure though. Always a big mess of water on floor due to lack of shower curtain.Would be nice to have tv in. Bedroom, couch was tiny and not very comfortable. Easier to watch movies in bed.

Very close to Walking Street at Bùi Viện, and access to lots of food and drinks. Easy walk to center of city. No clear directions were given to access the reception area. Had to ask security guard of the building, who was friendly and pointed the way.

• Ashish (10/5): Exceptional - It was such an amazing experience to stay with Alex house Saigon. We stayed here for 2 nights 3 days. This place is so convenient that you can cover most of it by foot - 100m to Bui Vien walking street, at the main road to get any taxi conveniently, in front of bus stop, 1.5km to main attractions like Bassilica church, post office Opera House etc. This place surrounds many cafes/restaurants to make our family of 4 stay here very comfortably. Now the most important part is about the host Ms Cuc - she was so nicely accommodating and managing all our requests respectfully and diligently. She helped us book our day trips, taxi bookings and sometimes helped our family to even get to the taxi. Always with admirable smile. Even though the city is bit warm in late July early August but our overall experience has been amazing mostly due to our stay here.

• Hoang (10/5): Highly Recommend - The first night we arrive at 2am. The second night we did not sleep here because we had to take the night bus for another place far away from Ho Chi Minh. The resting time at this place was really short but we enjoyed it very much. They gave you all of furnitures you want like at your home. It was feel like at our real home. It is located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh city but the price was very reasonable. We will definitely come back! The tour information and the trip organization from the owner was not much. We almost had to arrange from our side online for everything. I do prefer arrange from the place I stay more than doing it online by myself.

• Vishal (8/5): Alex Saigon stay - The place is centrally located opposite the bus depot where you can opt for hop on bus as well. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchen and washing machine. It has a lot of restaurants around and a walking street and market is 5-7 mins away. There is a bank right outside the building. Good place for people who want a bigger space . Right behind the building there are many small hotels and hostels. Many indian restaurants and marts for daily needs. The bathroom tub needs attention.

My room (6B) was nearest to the very noisy road. I feel that the apartments on the other side of reception (away from the road) would be much better.

We were happy to have a balcony with a view over Ho Chi Minh City. All major sightseeing spots in the city were within walking distance, so great location as well. Staff was very nice. The apartment was clean and well taken care of. Couldn't be happier about this accommodation.
